ang sa amin meron mic and 2-way audio.. kaya kahit hindi ko pinapanood talaga, I can hear what's going on.. lalo na pag umiiyak sya..

Our cctv cam is installed on a high part of the wall and is there permanently. The view it can catch is about an angle of 60 degrees that's why they did an ocular pa - to determine what position and where the best place of installation would be.  The DVR is set to record once motion is detected by any of the 5 cameras. If there is no motion, the dvr will not record anything although you can view all cams even if nothing is happening in that particular area.

Yours is an ip camera or cctv din?  Our friend doesn't advise ip cam kasi mabagal daw ang frames per second.  But having audio is good, too, especially if you have little kids.

Hello mga sis  Share ko lang I've been using an IP camera for about a year now. This is my choice kasi both my hubby and I work and we don't have time to review the video recording of a CCTV. I got my IP camera from amazon then had it brought here from the states. Install lang a wifi network in your home and voila you can watch your baby anytime on the road or at the office. The IP cam i got is d-link. It has its own iPhone app so sobrang discreet. I can just open the app and put it beside me while I work. May audio din so I just put on my headphones - it looks like I'm listening to music pero I'm really monitoring my son.

I have 3 cameras installed, 1 in the playroom, 1 in the bedroom and 1 in the living room. You also have to invest in a heavy duty wifi router if youre gonna install a lot of IP cams. Kasi yung dati ko I bought from CDR king, after 6 months disposable na.

^ I agree with you. A good router and internet connection are must haves for CCTV and ip cams.  I do the same thing when I am at work. I log in to the site and I am able to view the activity in our house where the cams are installed. Wala nga lang audio and the location of the cams are permanent but we are able to view the live feed, too.

 When we are at home naman, we view the cams from our TV monitor.

We only review the DVR recordings when we feel like doing so and the DVR is a plus factor na lang siguro if documentation should be needed (I hope I never get to use it as such.).

flexusob, my gosh! sorry!!! daughter mo pala iyon.. my bad!!!! didnt know may dalaga ka na pala..

but ours is an IP Cam.. mabilis internet connection namin dito sa SG kaya real-time ko naviview even on my phone and here sa office.. meron siguro 1 second delay depende siguro sa bandwidth utilization namin sa office.. it's almost always 99% real-time..

we do not have any DVR.. mas maganda iyan.. we have to manually select 'RECORD' sa application/software nya on our computer..

3 weeks ago nag inquire ako sa ACE ng CCTV and yung quote sa akin around 20K+ pero 1 cam
lang ata yun. so naglakad lakad kami along shop sa greenhills meron silang binebenta n
IP cam nasa 4K yung pinakacheap pero mas gusto sana ni hubby yung 8K na pwede day and

I just need your opinions, mas ok ba na alam ng maid na may CCTV beforehand or itatago mo sa kanya?
My ex maid kasi, sinabi ko na may CCTV kami kaya I want her na masanay gawin lahat ng chores nya
sa bahay ng tama. simula nun nalaman nyang may CCTV, parang ilang na syang kumilos at laging nasa kwarto nya.

@sis yapeegurl - okay lang  . Actually, she is just 8 years old but a little on the big side.

@ sis poshgurl - We decided to tell them even before the installation.  At least, deterrent din iyon for them not to do anything bad.  Nasanay na rin naman kaming lahat with the cameras and we often forget it's there.

@ sachism - did you get a 4 channel or an 8 channel DVR?  Ganyan nga siguro ang running rate ng CCTV plus installation.  How many cameras did you install?

I am thinking of getting a wireless ip camera so my daughter can bring it with her when she moves around the house.  That would be like a mobile cam.  Isip isip pa ako.   

Para kaming nasa reality show and we get to see scenes that are sometimes funny.  One time we saw our little boy slip on the floor and reassured agad kami that it wasn't a serious thing.

4 cam, 4 cam 1TB DVR, LED monitor, centralized power supply, may dagdag cost lang ako kasi yung mga molding, wiring, addl mic kasi gusto ko maririnig yung sinasabi

i want to install cctv camera or ip cam at home kaso lang last time we're quoted like 40K+ for 3 cameras (cctv)..can you suggest something that is not that expensive pero reliable naman. Thanks!

Yes sis.. alam ng yaya na meron kaming camera.. before I let anything happen at home, it's better that the yaya is warned.. cautious sya dapat.. yaya ko naman hindi naiilang sa camera.. at least she's aware na hindi sya pwedeng pahila-hilata the whole day while i'm out.. at lalong lalo ng hindi nya pwedeng gawan ng masama ang anak ko.. also, this wireless ip cam helps me monitor what shows are being played on the TV.. ayaw ko ng teleserye or mga shows na violent..

Very helpful talaga itong thread for me..lalo na new mommy ako at back to work na rin...tapos my biggest problem talaga eh maiiwan si baby sa yaya, although yung yaya naman eh kilala namin buong family nya pero di mo pa rin masabi when it comes to handling babies..so balak ko talaga magpalagay ng cam..I don't have big budget for it so I'm planning to get the ip cam ng cdr king....

Ask ko lang mga sis, kung maganda ba yung ip cam ng cdr king??? any feedback on it..good or bad will be a great help..Thanks

I'm so excited about this.  We lost money and a lot of expensive items so my dad is planning on having cctv cam installed in our home.  I hope this time the helpers would think twice before doing anything stupid again.
