I'm not sure how much, pinakita sa amin nung friend ng asawa ko kasi natira yun, nakapaglagay na raw kasi siya ng cctvs sa store niya.

Meron ngang mga cctvs sa cdr king, nagpunta ako minsan, kaya lang ang daming tao, aligaga ang mga saleslady kaya di na ako nag-inquire. Hehe

I forgot to mention may recording feature yang dlink. Leave it open sa pc
mo to record. Pero mukang ok na din yung 2k sa cdrking for monitoring.

I have 1 bullet type cctv cam, weather proof and with night vision, Bought it at cdrking for less than 2k. Wired sya from the store hanggang sa room ko. I installed it sa sari sari store to see kung nangungupit ang tindera and to see yung mga namimili. Its for monitoring purposes kaya wala na akong DVR. Maybe soon I will purchase a DVR pag nagka budget.

Madaming CCTV cams sa cdrking, meron akong nakita around 4-5k may maliit na sya na monitor and wireless sya. Not sure if clear nga lang. Para syang nanny cam.

so sis etong ctv cam mo na binili a cdr king walang recorder? so for monitoring lang kelangan nandun ka para makita mo? tama ba ako? kasi kung katulad ko na umaalis ng bahay araw araw kelangan ko yung may recorder? tama po ba?

yup you will need a stand alone DVR, it costs around 9k to 15k. You can check openpinoy.com, madaming CCTV and DVR silang available at reasonable price. I have usb DVR that I bought at sulit, pwede sya iconnect sa laptop or pc, though not that clear yung kuha unlike sa TV ko ni view. If aalis ako, I can record it thru my laptop.

^if the IP cam has recording function and it can be hooked to a pc, then what is the DVR for? cant it just record the video in the PC's harddisk for viewing later on?

Nakabili ka na ba ng ip camera? magkano bili mo.  i'm interested to buy din sana. i hv 2yrs old daughter with her yaya and 1 maid left at home everyday coz i'm also working fm M-F, my husband is an ofw.

^If you need to remotely view the camera, yes you need an Internet connection. Meron mga software ang ibang dvr that supports remote viewing.

do you tell your helpers that there are security cameras in the house?  Of course you will not mention the location.   I thinking kasi better if you tell your helpers para deterent na sa kanila pag gawa ng kalokohan.  on the otherhand, if the helper is really bad, pag iisipan nun how to disable to camera before doing a crime.  what are your thoughts?

our ip cam is visible..as in katabi lang ng cable and wifi ek-ek sa bahay
we don't tell the yaya na meron..i guess she learns about it when it moves/pans from left to right pag ginagalaw namin remotely tapos magtatanong sya sa ibang katulong sa labas.. or sometime when i see something na hindi ko gusto like the yaya plus 2 other HH nasa loob ng room namin at nanonood ng tv..tumatawag na si hubby noon para itanong bakit sila nagpupulong pulong sa kuarto namin.

i guess sa amin hinde naman namin maitago ang ip cam namin kasi..medyo malaki yung cam. tsaka automatic yun tatawag ako kaagad.. kaya magtataka sila bakit alam ko..at least yun hinde sila pepetiks petiks sa loob ng kuarto namin

artegirl, yes alam ng yaya namin na meron kaming ip cam.. can't risk to wait for something to happen.. at least conscious sya kahit wala kami.. and she knows it's recorded..

if she'll disable both cameras as part of her plan to do something stupid, it's out of our hands na.. that's when we start praying pero palagi ako tumatawag everytime na nadidisable ang camera #1..

1st timer here. =) Also considering in buying an IP camera, so that pag-iniwan ko si baby sa house ma-monitor ko padin. I saw one sa internet wireless N siya, with pan tilt, 2 way audio, movement recognition na pwede daw i-set up in such a way na pag may movement sesend niya thru e-mail yung photo, kasi may SD card slot din siya na kayang mag record. worth 15K per camera. what you think guys?
