i know some people na gumagawa. magkano ba budget mo? mahal din kase e. pwede din sila gumawa ng beddings or linens that matches with curtains.

If you like affordable curtains, go to Baclaran, on the left side of the church madami stores.. Meron ready made, but you can have made to order also. There is this pagawaan ng curtains  na nakita ko in a bldg. on the right side naman ng Baclaran church, display window nila is on the 2nd floor.

I also like the curtains at Landmark dept store.

But sa house namin, my SIL would just buy tela sa Divisoria, then pinapatahi nila, or sometimes SIL, together with her mom would sew it themselves. Magaganda naman kinakalabasan, hindi mukhang mumurahin.

mga sis question, how do you store your curtains pag hindi ginagamit? separately? per color? placed inside separate plastics ba? any idea how to store it ng organized?

^I saw one of the supplier of that located in Buendia LRT, all types of Blinds they have it. It is just along Chowking side.

If you want to have the designs you like, it is better na magpa-customize na lang. Just buy cloth from Baclaran or Divisoria.

^^the curtains are folded by set (same color/design) and stored together with throw pillow cases, chair pad covers, runners, etc. I don't put them in plastic bags anymore.

ms. independent: We store curtains by set and we place them inside a plastic bag. Vinavacuum seal namin everything that will occupy too much space sa cabinet since maliit ang space namin sa cabinets.

^ I just use the ordinary car vacuum, less 3k if I remember it right. My husband works abroad the reason why I use plastic vacuum sealer. Mas madali kasi magpack ng things niya kapag hindi bulky ang damit. Kaya ganun din ang ginagawa ko for curtains and blankets.

buy na lang sa 168.maganda naman...mura pa..kung pamg everyday use lang buy ka na lang ng ready made.kasi mahal ng pagawa namin..sayang..although maganda kaso pumapanget din pag matagal..

Years back there was this mananahi who would customize curtains for my mom. My mom would pick a design from a magazine tapos gagayahin nila for a minimal price. Sila na din bahala sa material. Am not sure if my mom is still in touch with them, taga-Malabon kase yung mag-asawa.

good thing i stumbled upon this thread. I'm looking for thick curtains kasi that would really cover yung light sa windows ng bedroom namin. Super laki kasi nung window sa bedroom, eh ayaw ko ng maliwanag kasi nasisilaw ako. Nagtitingin ako sa Market-Market dept. store and ang mahal naman... nasa P1,000+.
