^ yeps ... specially yung mga products nilang, mukha ng baboy, yung ground pork nga nila, iba yung pagka-reddish niya, deep red na e, sobrang frozen na, compared sa newly ground pork nila na mukhang bagong giling, na kulay pa rin ng karne, i might as well go back to walter-mart na lang.

mga pang bake, like brownies na ready na just add egg. before pag bumibili kami hindi pa expired pero may maliliit na na insects sa loob. So now pag bibili kami lahat ng powdered (milk, flour etc) binubuksan muna namin to check before paying for it.

There are some groceries na if you have complaints, pinapalitan naman nila.

sa sm makati, i bought pork na may bad taste, gabi na kasi ako bumili..never na talaga ako bibili ng meat dun. di ko kasi napansin pero sabi ni hubby parang medyo naluto na yata yung nabili ko para di ma-spoil pero nung niluto na namin, naku di namin makain.. may amoy pa.

My Mom also bought bad smelling pork from SM Makati about a month ago. Morning siya nag-grocery and she got home naman right after kasi it was a Sunday and no traffic. Buti na lang, when our helpers were fixing the meat, they noticed that the pork smelled bad so my Mom immediately went back to return the meat.
At first, ayaw daw maniwala ng mga sales clerk na doon binili yung pork so my Mom showed them the receipt and the tag. So ayun, wala silang nasabi kung hindi, " Ay dito pala talaga..." 
Pinalitan na lang ng Mom ko ng ibang non meat items yung pork.

basta sa mga SM groceries, dont buy prepacked veggies or fruits that are bunched together, usually in 3's or more... 70% of the time, may tinatagong bulok na part yan... pag mga 2's lang, medyo safe ka pa kasi you can see what you're buying from all angles.

if i may add pa, usually we bought soya drinks din @sm supermarket.. pero my gosh, as in parang taho na ang consistency nya.. meaning panis or expired na.. fault ko din somehow di ko check exp date..pero kasi naman kaya nga sa "reputable" place ako namimili para makaiwas sana sa ganon..sana magawan way ng sm ma check ang prods nila.. esp ang dami naman nila staffs na nakatunganga lang....

Feeling ko rin hindi fresh ang pork sa SM Makati.
Lagi hindi maganda yung amoy ng meat na nabibili namin dito.
Mas ok bumili sa Rustan's.

ako naman, i never buy fruits/veggies and some meat sa SM, sa palengke lagi since i found out na mas mura, and mas fresh pa. although yung chicken sa SM ako bumibili kasi mas mura sya.

i started to get conscious nung bumili ako ng apple, sa divisoria yata yun, bata pa ako, i inspected the fruit naman thoroughly pero hindi ko napansin dun sa may sticker part, pag alis ko ng sticker andun may bulok pala, at kaya pala may sticker dun is to cover yung bulok. since then anything na bibilhin ko na i cant inspect the whole product, i dont buy.

regarding the UFC ketchup, grabe naman yun, i buy their ketchups pa naman in big bottles ... anyway, that post was so tagal na, so sana nagimprove hehe

I bought recently a bottle of Liquid Genie sa Shopwise. Turned out to be 1 week expired. Didn't bother na to return kasi hassle pa, babalik pa ko sa halagang 35 pesos hehe Tinapon ko na lang.

But I once returned an expired can of Ravioli to the same supermarket, pinalitan naman. Kaya lang sana nachecheck na rin nila bago pa may makabili ng expired.

Once naman kumuha ako sa grocery ng SM Marilao ng naka pack na guava na malaki, hindi ako kumuha ng ngka slice na kasi parang medyo nag oxidized na yung guava kahit naka plastic cover pa sya sa styro. So kumuha ako nung medyo small guava na buo pa pero naka plastic din sa styro. Buti nalang medyo mahaba ang pila sa cashier pagtingin ko sa guava, ayun may naglilimayon na uod na white na medyo mataba dun sa paligid ng guava. Pinakita ko nga sa cashier. Nagtanong pa sya kung kukunin ko pa raw, hehe sabi ko syempre hindi. Ireport nyo yan sa manager nyo at nakakadiri.

once sa sm adriatico, bought this chicken na may amoy na..asar!may sipon kasi ako nung bumili kami kaya ayun..hay naku!!sana lang if alam nilang hindi na ok, wag na nila idisplay..tsktsk.

sa SaveMore, bumili ako ng ingredients for salads. Before exiting the store, I have this habit of reading the receipt thoroughly. Then sa receipt may naka punch na item na Gabi - Sinigang Cut (sorry forgot the exact term sa receipt.) I'm wondering baka may na mispunch na item since I did not buy any gabi or any vegetables for sinigang. While going through my items, I realized it was the lettuce. Yung sticker tag nya is for the gabi. Eh di ba iba iba yung price per kilo ng vegetables nila so I thought baka na overprice ako? So I asked hubby to guard the groceries, I went back inside to check the other lettuce heads baka sa akin lang yung mali. Lahat ng natirang lettuce heads (siguro around 7 na lang andun), puro pang Gabi - Sinigang yung sticker tag.

Ang layo naman siguro ng itsura ng lettuce sa gabi to call it a mistake. Saka lahat ng items, mali yung tag. -- Yan ang reklamo ko sa manager ng SaveMore. Kahit 30 pesos lang yung price ng wrong tag lettuce, I really want to make a point sa kanila na masama manloko ng customers. Obvious naman na sinadya kasi.

singit ko lang yung nabili ko sa healthy options. brazil nuts nila, may rancid smell na. tapos cuties ice cream nila, iba na ang amoy. nagmelt na siguro tapos tumigas uli. lately, [textspeak!] inka corn nila, ang expiration, may 2012 pero super amoy mantika and ang sama ng lasa. sinoli ko lang yung inka. yung brazil and ice cream, pinaalam ko lang sa kanila. dapat ata name ng store nila unhealthy options?
