@sis cherness, per unit ang pricing ng veneers. The cheapest I found was 15K per unit. Yong 4 front teeth ko din lang sana gusto ko palagyan pero 60K pa dinn yon!

Hi! I just wanted to share my teeth story.  My 2 front teeth (rabbit teeth) have previously undergone root canal many years ago. Over the years they've discolored with a grayish/brownish tint, and I don't even smoke. My dentist has mentioned "jackets" to me before, but I didn't want to since the process sounded intimidating, but just this month I decided to finally go for it. I asked if I could have veneers, but she suggested that porcelain crown would be a better alternative since my teeth were already brittle from the root canal. She made me choose among the porcelain fused to metal crown, porcelain fused to titanium crown, and the all-porcelain crown. I close the all-porcelain crown, which was 10k/tooth. I though 10k was very expensive, but after researching (a lot), I found out that my dentist has one of the lowest rates. The entire procedure of the porcelain crown was just about 1 week, and I can say it's worth the investment.

Hindi ba sis yong jacket is mukhang bulky compared to veneers?

Yes mas manipis ang veneers and slight tooth reduction ang needed compared to a jacket crown which would need more tooth reduction to accommodate the crown.

But the choice of a crown or veneer depends on its indication. If its for cosmetic reasons, veneers will be a better option..

I have a bad case of dental fluorosis and this has always caused me great insecurity.

I started with crowns (porcelain jacket), even did some composite veneers while I was saving up. Nung nagkabudget ako last year pina porcelain crown ko na yung 2 upper (fangs) and 9 lower teeth ko. May iilan pang teeth na gusto ko ipagawa but once nakaipon ulit I'll definitely have it done, either veneers or crown.

My first 2 upper incisors, porcelain crown cost 1,700 each (1994). then yung katabi nun, 2008-09 ata nasa 3,500 na isa. the last 11 teeth cost me 4K each, Cavite area dentist ko.

I asked kay Dr Gan 15K per tooth. Whew! Wish I had enough moolah, I will surely pay to have good set of teeth. My former boss kay Dr Gan sya nagpaayos P10K porcelain veneers nya. Sulit yung gawa sa kanya kasi maganda talaga.

Save up for it!  If I had problematic teeth I would go for veneers.  Sayang naman kasi braces ko if magpaveneers pa ko para lang maging sobrang puti.  1 shade away ako from the whitest teeth the last time nagpalaser ako.

Pls recommend dentist for all porcelain crown. Yung maganda gawa but reasonable near pasay or makati. Thanks mga sis!

hindi pa nakaka cause ng defect sa speech. parang kay coco martin? like may 's' sound siya lagi. watch niyo sa youtube.

^ Diba may tao naman talagang mas pronounce yung "s" sound niya, sila heart nakaveneers din naman pero wala namang problem na ganyan.  Majority din ng mga celebrities sa states nakaveneers.

so expensive naman yung mga dentist niyo... i had mine for 10k per tooth lang (6 teeth nilagyan...) if you want i can recommend you my dentist... I think by appointment lang siya and hindi tangap ng walk-ins...
He also do DAMON Braces... my sister had one sa kanya, i think he have a promo now...

paano kung a gap between two front teeth.. just a slightly super slight lang na gap tsaka may stain ng konti sa gitna..how much it will cost? veneer ba ang dapat gawin dun?

^ That would be braces.  I wanted veneers din at first but an honest dentist in mega mall advised me to have braces instead.  5 years down the line and I'm absolutely happy.  The dentist at metro dental was even complementing me for my nice teeth (I didn't go to them for braces, cleaning lang).  Super pantay niya kasi talaga.  I had laser teeth whitening nalang so parang veneers din.

May "S" yung speech ko, but I think it's because of the lingual retainers.  May chance na magkaroon ng issue din na ganyan with veneers.  I know someone with veneers, parang mas pronounce yung "S" nga niya.  Pero si heart parang hindi naman diba?

I had my dental veeners. pero mura lang yung sa akin kase friend ko ang gumawa. Ok naman siya. nasa 7K lang yung 6 na ipin ko. Composite dental veneers daw yun.  Yung dating dentist ko naman, ang tawag niya Lamination.
