Hey girls!

If you are on a tight budget but you're desperate for porcelain veneers, you can also ask your dentist about direct composite veneers. They're way cheaper than porcelain ones, and  the treatment is more conservative (because tooth reduction is very minimal). It can be done in only one appointment. Downside is, in about 5 years, the composite (filling material) should be replaced na, because unlike porcelain, they tend to stain eh. But at least naka veneers na kayo. Composite veneers can be replaced with porcelain later on, pag may budget na. This is what I recommend to my patients who are dying to get veneers.

Finally had my veneers done and crown changed! I'm so happy with the result. I should have done this earlier. Here's my before and after pics.

Omigish mama squeak! ang ganda ng new smile mo. Nainggit ako hehe. I can't afford porcelain veneers yet so I'll try composite muna as advised by sis happyheizel, will definitely save up for porcelains.

I'll send you a pm sis. I use Dentsply Ceram X as my composite material, it has a finish similar to ceramics, especially with the finishing and polishing discs that I use.

Share ko lang last month end of Sept nag pa veneer ako with Dr Tripon, the procedure is done for 2 weeks kasi nga balik na ako SG afterwards. I highly recommend him mga sis, true is very good dentist di lang basta gagawa sya he will check your complexion and face angle before he recommend things for you. I spent 150K for 3 fixed bridge/4 veneers (lower) 9  fixed bridge (upper) super nice din misis nya.

I have pasta in between my 3 front teeth, 2x na sya napalitan kasi parang nagkaka-shadow..? Esp after my 4 yrs of wearing braces. So im planning magpa-veneers, kaso i need coffee everyday, as in minimum of 2cups a day because i need to stay awake. Super bawal ba to pag naka-veneers?
Saka i'm planning to use whitening strips to avoid yellowish teeth, madadamage ba veneers pag nalagyan ng whitening strips? Kasi hassle naman to cut the strips para yung natural teeth lang malagyan

Hi sis, depende kung anong klaseng  materials ang papagawa nyo sa veneers. But if its an all porcelain, nope di bawal ang coffee.

Roughly how much sis pag porcelain? And hindi ba sya madadamage pag nalagyan ng mga whitening strips? Since nagco-coffee kasi ako, i need to use whitening strips para di masyado mag-yellow natural teeth ko and di maiwan ng color ng veneers, hassle naman kasi ma-avoid malagyan veneers esp. yung malalapit sa natural teeth.  TIA!
