^ sis, the same lang ang porcelain or ceramic veneers.. tawag lang yan ng iba.

different types of veneers, resin composite veneer ( ceramage) or ceramic ( porcelain).

syempre porcelain veneers ang maganda! very natural itsura!

Doc Claudz, question po. I have a crown on my upper teeth, beside my (left) front tooth. It looks irritating kasi mismatched siya sa ibang teeth ko!

Pwede bang tanggalin yung crown and have it replaced with veneers para mas mukhang natural?

actually pwede to replaced your old crown with veneers, but the question is, for what? 1st ang laki na ng nabawas sa preparation ng tooth mo. 2nd is it root canal treated? and so on... if napapangitan ka sa old jacket mo with metal, mag all porcelain jacket ka na lang, it means no metal coping. 100% mas maganda and magiging happy ka.

Talaga, an all-porcelain jacket would do? On my next post, I will show how my teeth looks like with my current crown

sure!!! ill wait for your photo! oo maganda talaga ang all porcelain jacket crown , very natural ang itsura.. hindi ka mukhang naka jacket, compared to, porcelain fused to metal crown.

sis clauds, my one front tooth, tinanggal two years ago. ngayon naka dentures na ako, just for that one tooth, left side.

ayaw ko na. gusto ko na sya gawing permanenet pero di ko afford ang dental implant. ano po masasuggest mo, and how much. ;-0

Doc Claudz, i need your input po if it is true na kapag binawasan yung size (thickness) ng veneer mag iiba yung color? Would it be more whiter?

i had my veneer fixed po kase last December, however, i've noticed na hindi align sa gumline. so ang tendency it looked like pinatong sya sa ibabaw ng tooth and the two front teeh is not aligned sa katabi nyang incisor. Sabi ng dentist ko kase ganon daw yung porma ng original tooth ko kaya ganon. Hindi po ba dapat pwede yung baguhin kase pre cast ang porcelain veneer, does it mean hindi enough yung bawas na ginawa sa original tooth kaya hindi pantay sa other tooth saka sa gumline?

same color pa din , mawawala lang ang gloss nito. and masyado na manipis ang veneers para bawasan pa. kaano ba kakapal gawa?

kapag hindi align sa gumline at mukhang makapal, its either makapal yung gawa ng lab or masyadong manipis ang bawas sa tooth mo..

if you have a gummy smile. or minsan short gumline, pwede maayos lang ito by surgery. tapos chaka mag veneers / jacket crowns.

is it ok na mag post ka ng photo ng teeth mo para mas makita if it really looks bad.

Doc claudz, im also interested. Pls pm me a quote. Tanong ko lang po kung pwede yung veneers na ilagay sa baby teeth? May baby teeth pa kasi ako (both canines) hanggang ngayon eh 20s na edad ko. Sabi sa xray wala na raw kasunod. Di sya pantay sa gum line kaya nag woworry ako na di pwede ang veneers sa kanya.

Doc Claudz, bakit ganun-- sabi ng dentist ng sister ko dapat daw mag braces na lang miski 3 years kasi daw mas long term solution daw yun for my sister. Kaso nga, wala naman patience ang sister ko so ayaw nya talaga and she wants veneers na lang or crowns dahil hindi nga nya kaya yung nakabraces ng matagal. Nagtataka lang ako kung bakit parang super against sa veneers yung dentist na yun, parang everytime binabanggit namin parang sinasabi nya agad na wag na lang veneers kasi cosmetic lang naman yun, mas maganda magbraces---eh kaso nga wala naman gana yung sister ko ipagawa pa ipin nya kung di lang for cosmetic reasons. Sabi pa nya mukha daw may TMJ sister ko eh kaso wala naman definitive way of telling kung may TMJ ang tao.

Napapansin kasi namin na parang everytime babanggitin namin yung veneers, as in AGAINST sha dun. Lagi nya pinupush ang braces kasi sayang daw ang ipin--pero kasi super overlapped yung upper teeth ng sister ko so gusto na nya talaga pa correct ng veneers so nakaka-dishearten yung mga sinasabi nung dentist na yun. Parang mashado sha old school kasi tapos pag may new technology basta tatanungin mo sa kanya, naka-defensive sha agad. Like yung invisalign, or yung mga bagong klaseng braces---discourage din nya. Ano ba yun?

mga nag aral ng cosmetic dentistry usually ang capable or lets say mas alam paano gawin yun.

mas conservative ang veneers kesa mag jacket crown

kasi konting ipin lang ang bawas.

parang sa pagkabit ng braces, hindi lahat ng dentist nag kakabit ng braces.

BUT hindi lahat ng teeth qualified to have venners. meron mga cases, braces talaga ang kailangan.
