which is better po ba ang crown o veeners(magkaiba ba to?), i have a captek crown sa two front teeth, yung isa is walang ipin na so un sa isa na lang naka kapit then me extension sa kabila to hold yung cap na walang ipin, kasi ayaw ko pasira [textspeak!] ipin ko kaya to support yung walang ipin nilagyan ng extension, i paid 26k , after 3 months nasira na yun isang cap, question ko hindi ba talaga matibay ang captek? I had a porcelain fused to metal before na 12 years na so i decided na palitan na pero wala naman damage just the markings sa me gilid ng gums sa itaas due sa metal.

Yes sis crowns and veneers are different. With veneers, a thin layer of restorative material (either porcelain or composite) is placed in a tooth surface either to improve the esthetic appearance of the tooth or to protect a damaged tooth surface. Veneers are indicated for the anterior (front)teeth.

Crowns, on the other hand, completely covers a tooth. Some crowns are made up of metal, others are porcelain.

I think pwede naman maski may mild bruxism, kasi konti lang naman sa incisal ang bawas eh. Unlike sa crown talaga, as in buong ngipin so hindi talaga pwede ang pag may night grinding

According to our prof, Veneers are contraindicated to patients who have night grinding & edge to edge occlusion. With bruxism kasi, diba may force between the upper and lower teeth eh hindi naman ganun ka-rigid and veneers diba.

I have night grinding yet i have veneers. Kasi konti lang talaga ang bawas sa labial eh. Class 1 ako. But if edge to edge hindi talaga pwede.

Hi! I'm also interested about veneers. Nagpaconsult na ko before but the dentist told me magpawhiten daw muna before doing the veneers. Or iveneer daw lahat ng upper teeth para match. Hindi pa ko bumabalik sa kanya.

jacket & crown are the same. porcelain is a material used. You cant have veneers if you're wearing crowns na. iba yung tooth preparation procedure for jacket and veneers.

^hindi na pwede. kasi pag veneers onti lang yung binabawas sa tooth. saka pang-anteriors lang sha. Unlike the jacket.

My dentist charges 18K per tooth but if 2 or more teeth ang papagawa it's 15K/per tooth. For crowns or jackets, it's 20 to 25K per tooth.

I have a porcelain jacket on the teeth next to my front teeth, i don't know it's name (hehe) anyway, I keep on complaining to my dentist na very different and malayo yung kulay ng jacket compared sa ibang teeth ko Mukha siyang pustiso!! Nagsisi tuloy ako sa jacket! Pwede bang mag veeners parin kahit nakajacket na? or pwede bang papalitan yung jacket ulit, grabe ang pangit talaga ng color ng jacket

nakatemporary bridge ako ngayon. mukha talagang pustiso. waah! next tuesday or wednesday ikakabit yung zirconia crowns. sana ok...

30k per tooth sa veneers ? sobrang expensive ata sis, I got mine 10k per tooth, 80k for 8 na

^Akala ko mahal na singil ng dentist ko sa veneers mas mahal pala sa yo. Porcelain veneers din yung gamit ng dentist ko. He charges 18K for a single veneer but 15K for two or more.
