My hubby's very reasonable sa mga expenses namin but lately, i've been indulging him more lalo na sa mga dinners out namin.

- ako naghahawak ng sweldo nming dalawa
- I do the budget and just provide him his allowance and other needs
- in our situation kaming 2 ang nag-decide ng ganong setup so no big deal

basically right now, what is his is mine also, but what is mine is only mine. lol. though im the one who pays the yaya and some hmm.. home stuff LOL kasi credit card halos lahat ng expenses, then hubby's the one who pays for the cc bill. so halos lahat talaga sa kanya. BUt part of my new yr's resolution is to keep track of our expenses na and improve my budgeting and save save save. so bali yung savings ng family ay yung income ko..since wala nman akong gastos

Ako sis I have an Excel spreadsheet on our computer at home where I put all our income [mine and hubby's], versus all the expenses each month. Yung income naka-detail talaga kung ano yung expense na yun, like if it's meralco billing, payment for the home loan, dine out namin ni hubby, etc. Then at the end of each month I calculate all the expenses and less it sa overall income namin each month. From there I can already see how much ang na-save namin for that month, makikita ko rin kung saan kami nag-overspending, like if napadalas ang shopping namin ng month na yun. This way, magiging cautious ako na on the next month, mejo bawas-bawasan muna ang paglabas or pag-shopping, etc.

sweldo today! yey! :)

ako talaga manage ng financials namin. all his money/salary, he gives it to me. i leave/allot a certain amount lang for his allowance until the next pay day. works well naman for us. di naman siya nagrereklamo.
i budget everything kasi and mas kabisado ko when ang due ng payables namin. he trusts me well with our money. we are okay that way :)

ako ang nagbu-budget ng pera namin. may naka-allot na sa lahat ng expenses (for baby, utility bills, grocery, gas, fare) yung sobra, pasok sa working fund (for unexpected expenses such as car repairs)

what if he NEVER wants to open up and share with you the family budget, his financial status and commitments, and all matters about money?

is that normal?

what would you do about it?

and how would u feel?

me too sis. Hubby gives me all his income, and I put it in our joint account. I also know his online password and atm pin sa atm nya so I know how much is his salary and allowances. Wala kaming secret accounts na tinatago from each other.

I am the one who handles the budget so all the money comes to me. It's his right naman to keep something for himself.

we combine our salary tapos i set aside a certain amount for our savings, the rest would go to monthly bills, insurance, amortization, leisure and our allowance. yung savings namin ako na rin ang nag iinvest pero siempre inform ko din muna sya.

I noticed based on all your posts that majority it is the WIFE who handles and takes care of the family finances... Its good!!

Well, count me in sisses... Isa rin akong WIFE ACCOUNTANT!! lol

We combine our salary every payday and I do the budget. Nagbibigay lang ako ng allowance niya for everyday's work.. We are both aware of our internet banking details of all our bank accounts.. So kita ko kung magkano sinasahod niya & by the way, I hold his atm...

^i agree with what he said sis.....matapang ang wife pag may sariling pera....so anything pwede niyang gawin or sabihin sa 'yo kasi alam niya di ka makakapalag kasi totally dependent ka sa kaniya financially wise....

ok kung ayaw ka niyang mag-work, try to save na lang from what he's giving you yung di niya alam na may ipon ka....worse comes to worst meron kang pangsimula kahit paano....
