Wala kamng joint account so far. 2 years married kami and our fam budget is being supplied by my mother-in-law. Both students pa kasi kami but I have my own part time home based job as online tutor. So far wala kaming problema kasi asa pa naman kamo at this point pero I would love siguro kung yung money ko from tutoring sakin alng muna haha. Nakakapgsave naman ako aside from funding my personal stuff.

Kami din. Basically ganito.

Pero lately, we pool some money na for common expenses like utilities. We put some money in that account, that's intended only for common expenses.

All the rest, kanya-kanya. My money is mine.

Halimbawa: every month, we pool in 20k na common fund. I don't know if this'll work when we have kids na. Pero I know I will still prefer this and I'm guessing, so will he.

combine yung salary namin ni hubby at sa akin niya pinapahawak. humihingi lang siya ng pang show money niya or if may bibilhin siya at may gusto siya. Same with credit card siya lang ang may CC if mag grocery kami un ang ginagamit namin naka charge din dun yung postpaid line and charge din dun yung sa car namin.

Share ko lang -

I asked hubby last night kung ok lang mag start kami mag invest sa stocks. Ang sagot nya - Ok. Sabi ko, bakit ok lang? Wala ba sya questions?

Kasi tahimik lang yun about money. ;D

noong pareho kami may work, sweldo niya at sweldo ko ako may hawak. ako nag bubudget at nagbabayad ng lahat ng bills plus nagtatabi for our savings. now, i'm a full time homemaker wala pa din nagbabago. ako hawak ng atm niya then i would deposit money on his own account every month, allowance niya yun monthly.

We both have our own cash accounts, he gives a budget for everything and pays for our recreational activities.

i keep my own money & he keeps his own money..

he pays for our son's expenses & the utilities. we live with inlaws so pretty much everything is free except for electricity & food.
i pay for our food stuff because at my inlaws house we don't get free meals.. free shelter lang. hehe!

we put a fixed portion of our income in savings then what ever is left is for our own discretion.

since we share our beds, our bodies, our minds, and everything else in between- it was quickly a given that we share our finances too.  so everything goes in a pot and expenses come out of the same pot as well.  i put my foot down early on in the relationship that i do not need a room mate- where we single out who pays for what.  but to each her own!

we each have an allowance for personal discretionary spending (10% of income).  the 90% money goes to common household expenses which i manage.  right now 10% tithing, 10% savings for emergency fund, 70% for food, utilities (electricity, water, landline & internet), transportation, donation, truly rich club membership, insurance, etc.

Kami walang agreements. I don't ask for his salary, pero lahat ng expenses sa kanya. Then I have 1 atm from him na nilalagyan nya ng money every payday, and sabi nya sa akin daw yon kung ano gusto kong bilhin pero hindi ko naman ginagalaw :) he has 4 more savings account na though hawak nya yung mga atm's, binigyan nya ko ng online access sa lahat so I know yung figures.

I have a job with good pay naman, so I don't demand anything from him. And wala pa kaming baby so wala pa gagastusan.

love this sis. i wish ganyan rin hubby ko lol. :) sana maisip nya or ipapabasa ko sa kanya tong post mo.

we both have work so our style is - kanya kanyang pera. hati sa lahat. inookray nga kami ng friends namin parang room mates lang daw kami but that's how it works for us maybe someday bibigyan nya rin ako ng atm? or ibibigay nya sa akin sweldo nya...sana

I am trying to divide the bills in two like for the 2 bills babayaran namin sa frst half ng month from the 30th salary... Cn anyone please share how you sissies do the budget. As my hubby works fro 5 yrs palang, he earns below 25K, naging kuripot sa pagbbgay ng pay rise ang company grrrr..

when we were still both working, yun set up namin is all of his salary we use for all the expenses.this also includes an allowance every month for our 'luho'.  then, my salary all goes to savings.now, since sahm na ako, he gave his atm to me.  i'm now in charge of budgeting for the whole household.we both have an allowance every month for whatever we want to use it for.then we set aside money for our child monthly which goes to his savings. i sometimes buy and sell stuff from my own money when i was still working.  all the profits that i get from there is just mine  :) sabi ni hubby ko yung kita ko lang daw wala siyang pakialam. this has been working for us for 3months now.hopefully tuloy tuloy lang.

Sa amin naman ng Husband ko since pareho kami malayo sa mga Families/Relatives namin,  i let him do the budgeting, kampante ako, may sarili din naman kasi ako income so ok lang, and he still gives me personal allowances every month, then grocery allowance, and  budget for our son needs, other than that siya na lahat sa mga expenses,trips/vacay,bills,insurance,savings etc...mas marunong kasi siya humawak ng pera, lol, but NOW since we're moving to the state where his Family is closer, i spoke to him and let him know na this time ako na ang mag bu-budget sa lahat, i want to be crystal clear ang accounting namin, although iisa lang naman ang bank account namin and he can still do check and monitor the money as often as he wanted, open lahat sa kanya, mahirap na, it's not being greedy or bastos but sometimes we have to be tough and smart din, lalo na pag may anak na, we have to secure the future for our family lalo na sa mga kiddo's

married for 3 months palang, weird lang ng set up namin, since province based siya nag work at ako dito sa manila , nakatira ako sa mom ko at weekends lang kami nagkikita. hindi pa rin nya binibigay atm nya. hindi ko rin naman kasi ako nagtatanong ( nahihiya lang  ;D ) wait ko lang siya magbigay,

preggy ako ngaun never ako tee hee! sa kanya ng check up expense , transpo , may sweldo din naman ako, kaya siguro ganito kasi hindi pa kami nagsasama, ewan ko na lang next year kasi makakalipat na kami sa new house. sana magbago.

during weekends naman nag grocery siya for us ( baby ). ganun lang set up. hehe
