sis, hindi naman..
i use body oil after bath and BEFORE toweling off  tapos lotion with sun protection AFTER toweling off in the morning and another kind of lotion at night.. kasi diba after toweling off, dry na yung skin so it beats the purpose of moisturizing because you have to seal in moisture (water) to do that.. and the body oil does exactly that.. kaya mo siya gagamitin habang basa pa yung skin.. kasi it traps water in..while lotion gives you other benefits like whitening, sun protection, moisture retention (especially those with glycerin), etc..
saka after mo magpunas hindi naman greasy yung feeling so you can still put lotion (i use neutrogena.. i don't know if other brands aren't greasy as well)..
body oil only guarantees you get the maximum moisture benefit..
so if you use lotion lang that can retain about 50% moisture.. you're sure to get better numbers with body oil.. and if you use both naman, edi mas better pa sa skin.. kasi you don't only get moisture, you get other benefits as well..

kapag tinatamad naman you can make do with body oil nalang..

^ nice explanation sis.. i only use either oil or lotion kase. mainly because tamad ako maglotion and ok ang effect sakin ng oil. but since you mentioned that the oil just traps the water for moisture and better pa din maglotion after, i'll try that.. =)

share lang po mga sis, right now i'm using Extra Virgin Olive Oil (straight from the bottle), the one that is also used for cooking.  it has a lot of benefits kasi. i apply this after taking bath while my skin is still damp. sobrang moisturized ng skin until the next day.  I usually do this at night kasi i'm a little bit anxious na baka mag darken ang skin ko kapag na expose sa sunlight. [textspeak!] do you think mga sis, nakakaitim kaya pag naarawan after mag apply ng oil sa body?

^^ ako rin sis, yan ang gamit ko pang everyday.. pag morning naman, grapeseed... but when i go out, neutrogena pa rin para hindi malagkit..

yes sis, unless you put on SPF, nakakatan siya.. kasi diba as the skin warms up and absorbs the sun's rays, the body releases melatonin which darkens the color of the skin.. making you tan.. eh oil kasi causes the skin to heat up faster than it otherwise would kung wala nito..kaya mas mabilis din magtan..
so i suggest you use a very good sunscreen when you're using body oil.. or better yet patungan mo ng whitening lotion..

i love the body shop's dry oil mist.

and recently, palmer's soothing oil for dry and itchy skin, which i used to apply when i was pregnant. it is so good on the feet...makes them soft.

Kakabasa ko sa GT, ngayun naglalagay na rin ako body oil. Super tamad kasi ako dati mag lotion, dove lang soap ko kaya feeling ko pwede na. Eh recently napapansin ko parang namumuti yun mga binti ko so i felt na super dry na ng skin.

I use nivea smooth sensation body oil yun for extra dry skin then yung lotion with spf then another lotion at night. One week ko pa lang ginagawa i noticed that my skin is not that dry anymore, though hindi every day ang body oil ko especially if mainit, hindi ko kaya ang feeling.

Bumili yun kasama ko ng Body Treats Body Oil Lavander. Ang bango pala nun. Tapos hindi daw greasy. Parang gusto ko na magpalit ng body oil. Hehe..

For extra dry skin kasi yun Nivea na binili ko kasi nga naging super dry skin na ako.

hi planning to buy neutregena..gnyan b spell..heheh  ang bango bango nya kasi,,yung sesame scent may tester kasi sa mall.. kaya ayun.. ansaya.. ambango pala... ok lang ba gmitin to kahit my arbutin lotion n kong gamit.  bali body oil, arbutin, tapos sunblock..ok b yun??

oo sis, walang kaso yun kasi itotowel off mo naman yung body oil eh.. sheer lang yung moisture na maiiwan.. so you can still use your other lotions..
