^thanks sis kayesl yan nga yung pdf na binigay ng friend ko na singaporean pwede daw kami mag tingin diyan for reference/idea magkano ang asking salary if we're planning to apply sa SG.. ayun madami naman sila positions na ni-mention sa email may developer, tester etc..

we will try our luck! madami na din kasi kami kakilala na natanggap dun!

help naman po.. i'm not based in SG, dito ako sa Pinas. I will be in SG at the end of July to visit my bf. I would like to ask if ok ba yung shoes sa factory outlet ng Charles and Keith. mura ba? saw this in the website. so ngayon, pinapahanap ko siya sa bf ko.. hehe

Hi Mga sis! How much normally ang tv license? Coz my agent is asking $110. It will b my first time to pay.....4 yrs na ako sa sg and nayon Lang ako magbabayad.....

Nagbayad rin kami for tv license. Nasa $100 plus ( I forgot the exact amount ) and for 1 year lang siya.

mga sis what's a tv license? as in parang license to own a tv? ganun ba sa SG?

A TV License is required if you have TV sets here in SG which is capable of receiving broadcasting services. It is an official license required in many countries for the reception of television broadcasts.

It is valid for a calendar year and is renewable on a yearly basis thereafter. The annual license fee pala is $110 SGD confirmed by hubs.

and tama kayo about direct hiring.. direct hiring = higher pay... malaki cut ng agency...

may kaibigan ako na receptionist sa isang serviced offices (yung mga nagrerent ng room space para maging office nila instead of renting the whole floor).. she's earning 1.8K... she's sorting out mails, does the virtual offices thingy, welcomes the guests...

^^ ganun? masuwerte pa rin pala tayo dito sa pinas kasi bili ka lang ngg tv long as my atenna di ok na.

tingin niyo mga sis would which has a higher possibility of finding a job sa sg thru manila based agencies? or risk going there as a tourist then mag apply. i know recession pa rin pero still want to consider the possibilities

this year ata nagtaas ang tv licence? kasi last year yun ang siningil samin, $110. this uyear nakita namin yung bill, it's $135.

may short kuento lang ako.
i called nina starhub if sila ba responsible sa tv license...sabi nung agent hindi and i need to check with the sg gov't so sabi ko what's the gov't agency to call so sabi nya one moment and let me check...nung binalikan ako sabi niya just call 100....i told him that 100 is the telephone directory assistance

tapos na patameme....so sabi ko you dont know what's the agency to call and you want me to ask directory assistance na may additional bayad....sabi niya YES......dyosko! buti na lamang di ko sinagot na singaporean ka ba? tapos di mo alam ang gov't agency na responsible sa tv license.....

anyways so i called up directory and gave me a 1800 for MDA (media development authority) sabi nung agent nga its SGD110 per year pero kung mag aapply pa lang ako nayon it will only be SGD50 then SGD110 sa january coz they count it under 1 calendar year. sabi ko i think the owner of the house is already paying on behalf of us. then natulungan niya akong icheck yung records. gave my address and the owner's name at sabi nga niya huling nagbayad is june of last year so due nga ngayon....atleast i now know tama ang singil sa amin

nagulat lang kase ako coz 4 years na kame sa sg and 1st time lang kame singilin. ibig sabihin hindi kasama sa rent namin.....grabe! ang cheapo talaga ng owner namin and come to think of it nakacondo kame and thought na may bayad ang tv license coz may 2nd tv kame sa bahay.....yun pala may fee talaga every year

grabe dito sa sg lahat puros may bayad....di katulad dyan sa pinas

now i just need to check if nasa contract ng bahay namin yang tv license fee na yan

kung may manpower pooling dyan sa pinas then applyan mo na basta walang bayad

marami din kase kumukuha ng EPEC para valid stay nila sa sg ng 1 year pero maraming nadedeny....i dont know why.....siguro inuuna muna nila yung mga local and PR.

just apply online lang at malay mo may kumuha sayo.

^ i wrote a blog last year re TV license kasi may pumunta sa house para interview-hin ako kung may TV kami. sabi ko naman oo tapos sabi di daw bayad ang owner. kinabahan ako. hahaah. kala ko huhulihin kami o ippull out ang tv. nyek! naloka lang ako kasi may bayad. hahaha.

sis for admin position, usually ha sa mga nakikita ko sa job posts its 1000 to 1300 sgd, depende din kasi sa job requirements and sa magiging job work mo as admin, be ready lang kung eto talaga target position mo here kasi more on singaporean/pr lang talaga nihihire nila dyan..okies

you mean may hiring po ang optimum dito phi ngayon? saan po and pano po mag apply kaya don? hubby ko kasi nasa phi ngayon and looking for work dito sa sg, please inform me naman how can he apply in optimum kung may job hiring sila ngayon, TIA
