Me and my friends are planning to try our luck in SG... but shempre ang dami naming mga tanong...

like..

how much ang OK na salary para i-grab ang isang job offer?.. i mean [textspeak!] makaka-ipon ka at makaka shopping kahit konti... IT related ang work namin... we have different work experiences such as developers and business analysts....

4 kami pero di pa sure [textspeak!] isa... all girls kami...

mas ok ba na mag apply online rather than go there and find a job?...

ok na ba ang economy ngayon? or recession pa rin?.. if recession pa rin... kelan kaya ang best time to go there if ever...

my previous work were as a technical writer and now I'm a business analyst... pero around 1 year pa lang akong analyst... as a tech writer naman around 2 yrs exp... i also used to work as an it instructor...

[textspeak!] mga friends ko naman mga developers sila...

so magkano kaya ang ok na salary?

si hubby rin nasa IT field.

to know the salary just check jobsdb or jobstreet sg you can see there what are the ranges.

its really best na mag apply personally here sa sg para makita nila na eager ka coz masmahirap interviehin ang applicant kung wala sa sg. pero to minimise the risk apply na lang kayo ng EPEC.

this EPEC enables you to have a one year social visit pass.

honestly finding a job right now as a foreigner is hard coz maraming nawalan ng work for PRs or citizen due to the recession. so sila muna ang inuuna.

basta apply lang ng apply and lots of prayers. kung para sa inyo naman ito eh ibbigay ni Lord ito.

to keep you more inspired kame ni hubby resulta kame ng mga foreigners na nagrisk sa sg and got successful

what we did is we applied nung nasa pinas pa lang kame then sinabi namin na available kame on these dates for interview coz pupunta kameng sg. so ayun like what others say the rest are history.

lalo na pag IT, most of us ng mga kaibigan ko went thru a phone interview lang.. super submit lang kami online and that's it... ang hirap din kasi ng EPEC tapos stay ka dito sa SG for a year nang wala kang kilala or relative.. i think for me mas ok ang maghanap from pinas pa lang para lang po safe..

Hello! We are now in SG-lah! =) Staying in Geylang, the China Dolls district. hehe

Fragrance Hotel - Cyrstal kami nag stay. Kamusta naman nung unang gabi namin umulan, eh gamit namin by the window, pinasok ng tubig at nabasa ang laptop namin na bagong bili sa UK. Waah! Ang mahal pa naman pala dito.

We took the bus from Kuala Lumpur at midnight tapos dala dala ang aming more than 70kg na bagahe. hehe super saya naman.

My partner is still looking for work. Baka mas madali na now since nandito na kami, he has updated his number na to SG number sa Jobstreet etc.

Naku gala kami sa Orchard Road kagabi, nakikisagap ng Wifi hehe ang mahal ng mga bilihin dito ha kahit na sale! Mas pa kesa sa UK. Also ang cigarette same price din.

We bought 3 packets from KL, natatakot ako kaya we declared it, muntik na kami pabayarin ng S$17 tax. Pero pinagbigyan kami. Phew! STRICT!

Kaka stress pala talaga maghanap ng bahay dito. Naghahanap pa rin kami hanggang ngayon. Baka may alam kayo sis please let me know ha?

When ang EB? =) Sali kami ha?

di ka pa naka try ng transient rooms? i mean, di ka pa nakahanap? marami sa pinoyitdotsg... have you tried it? or gusto mo ba na yung may contract na? i have a few house agents in mind... i can help you with that..

meron akong agent. i could give you her number.
kahapon nasa queenstown ako at may nakita akong post sa bus stop na 3 bedroom 1.7k lang.
para masmabilis kang makakuha ng bahay just call a couple of agents para sila na lang maghanap sayo and maraming post din dyan sa kalsada.

may alam akong masarap na eatallyoucan sa bugis pinkpotato

share ko lang shopping update ko....
recently went to shaw centre sa orchard...ganda pala ng mango doon and may super sale....dresses nila from SGD19 na lang

hehe......na goosebumps tuloy ako nung nakita kong ang daming nagshoshopping and take note ha masmaganda ang stock nila kesa sa taka

kahapon naman na nood kame ng ice age na 3D version sa ion mall bugis. super saya....hehe...as in may ipapahiram sayo na 3D shades....natandaan ko tuloy yung rialto

type ko rin sa mall nito yung arcade nila...kaka addict

last week we went to Robertson Walk (near Clark Quay).. ito na ang lugar na nakita kong pinaka murang San Mig beer.. $4.50 lang.. pero til 10:30pm lang ang last order... til 1am sila bukas.. pero nag eextend til 2am..

July 18, Sunday, gusto nyo mag eat all you can? Sa Sakura sa may orchard masarap... $40 something un... with drinks na.. more on japanese cuisine...

We are staying sa Fragrance Hotel - Crystal bale GBP21.26 per night. Pero we are using vouchers from a very helpful sis dito thru Expedia. GBP1.26 lang pay namin per night. hehe

Uwi kami Pinas ng July 8-21 tapos start ako work ng 27th. Grabe papayat ako kakalakad dito. Kaloka pala talaga maghanap ng bahay no?

totoo sis? mas mahal pa dito kesa sa UK? i thought kasi na London was one of the more expensive places to live in.

^parang depende ata sa gamit kung ano ang mahal or case to case basis.

my husband's officemates went to London just to watch the Les Mesirables or the Phantom of the Opera last year or a couple of years ago. Talagang tipid sila dun. They ate only at mcdo. Gustohin man nilang makakain ng masarap, hindi na ina-allow ng budget nila to think na they really planned their trip (at syempre the budget) pero suko daw sila dun sa London. na-miss na nga nila ang hawker's place eh dahil napupurga na sila kakakain sa mcdo.
