pahelp naman mga sis, im confused on what to buy...mukhang sira na ref ko.
im contemplating on buying a freezer instead of ref, why, kase mas longer ang shelf life ng meat pag frozen. i can make ice para malamig yung water, kase kung di malamig na icy water di pinapansin ng mga anak ko. i can sell the ice hehe. kase hindi ko alam baket ako napapanisan ng ground pork sa freezer, i use ziplock naman. di ko alam if ziplock ang salarin or yung freezer ng ref ko.nagyeyelo naman yung loob.

Ladies, anyone here who has a side-by-side fridge with water/ice dispenser? I need to buy a water filter kasi and any recommendation on a good brand?  How frequent yung palit nyo ng filter? Thanks!

^ hi sis, what's your brand for side-by-side ref? and anong feedback mo? malakas ba sa kuryente? really want one, but am torn from getting the one with or without the ice dispenser, baka mas expensive sa electricity and concern ko rin is yung pag clean ng areas na ito...

ours is a GE french style (two doors above for the fridge part and pull out freezer at the bottom, with water and ice dispenser).

@yeyel20, sis I got the Electrolux side by side with water dispenser and ice crusher. It just got delivered today and di pa na-install ng technician. I'll find out by next month how much consumo sa kuryente and will update here.

As to cleaning, madali naman disassemble yung mga parts for cleaning.

help naman,  we are thinking of buying a ref. our budget is 20k and hubby is narrowing his choices on electrolux, kelvinator and panasonic 2 doors. manual frost lang.

any suggestions, yung tipid sa kuryente?

i got the electrolux no frost, 2 door na 7cf at 16k. so far so good, sobrang lamig kahit lowest setting. i live alone and my electric bill is around 800 lang. but that includes induction cooker, almost 24/7 na fan and laptop.

^^kasya naman pizza boxes on the fridge itself, but not on freezer part of a side by side ref kasi medyo makitid and area.

i think i have not replied well to this sis. our electrolux sbs can fit shakey's large pizza box - both in the freezer and in the fridge. the dimension of our electrolux is equal on both sides.

well, some sisses here say hindi daw matibay ang ref door ng samsung. but it still depends on you naman as you are the buyer. aesthetically, maganda nga tingnan ang samsung.

Hi, chefron.

I-check mo muna yun seals ng ref mo.  One can replace that naman though you need to take the sample of it sa shop as needed yun exact dimensions   Maari rin the doors aren't aligned anymore na madalas mangyari if one tends to load up things doon sa door racks.

I won't suggest a freezer lang as shock ang effect ng icy water sa body na pagod.  Room temp water pa rin ang best pag ganun.  You can dikit sa skin mo yun icy water but drink it ay ewan lalo na pag pagod or bagong gising ka.

Its uber wrong rin to sell ice that you will get directly from the freezer upon each order.  You instead invest in a styro box or some equivalent for that para hindi ka bukas ng bukas ng freezer for that as else your electric bill will soar.

No idea ako why your groundpork spoils fast even if you have had it ziplocked and in the freezer.  Something must be wrong with the freezer.

^sis baka u need to put some oil dun sa mga may turnilyo. baka need lang ng lubricant or if d pa talaga nawala, maybe mabigat laman nung door. ilessen mo lang. hth!

Ok na po ang ref ko eversince napalitan ng rubber gasket nito. The freezer is running perfectly unlike before. This cost me 1200 to replace just to give you an idea.

Btw the worker said that most ref today are really disposable, expect to replace every 5 years
