younis, so far how is your electrolux? thats is the same model im looking at. Im just waiting for my husband to come back from a business trip to get his approval (and money lol).

im soo tempted to get a samsung because of the offer of my dad's friend to give it to us at dealer's price. He can give me as much as 30% discount depending on the model I'll get and if I'll pay it in cash or card. The 15 cu. ft I saw has inverter already and with 10 yrs motor warranty. Original price is Php 38k but with the discount it will only be a little over Php 25k. di ko lang masabi sa kanya that Im still wary about the post sales service of samsung.

yung samsung di na namin naconsider yan, kasi marami kaming kwento na alam na di matibay ang door. panasonic at electrolux lang pinagpilian naming brands, kaso mahal na masyado ang panasonic at mas maganda daw talaga ang adaptive technology ng electrolux, kaya yun ang binili namin. we will see kung totoo nga hehe...

^^i also like the panasonic but their models that have inverters, the freezers are at the bottom. Yung provision in the condo makes the opening of the bottom freezer quite tricky. Mukhang we'll end p with Electrolux

i also initially wanted a bottom freezer na ref pero hindi na kasya i ended up buying electrolux and im super happy with it.

We finally bought our ref this morning. We got the electrolux ETB-3200 11cu ft. From php 26k, we were able to get it at php 23.5k. We opted for the aluminum instead of the stainless. There are chances that we'll relocate overseas next year & all of our things will be placed on storage or we'll end up selling them. Sayang din the 3k difference (kuripot mode).

Finally anson's delivered our electrolux ref this am. I haven't plugged it yet since I'm waiting for my husband. I'll  share my reviews soon. Initial impression,I should have gotten the 15cuft instead of the 11cuft. It won't be that tight that pala. I was reading the manual and the allowance needed between the ref and the walls are not that big.

Rant Lang about anson's. They were supposed to deliver it yesterday. They did not give any specific time but by 6pm wala pa I called them to follow up. Long story short, they said they can deliver it around 9pm kasi naipit sa traffic (oh how gasgas their reason). Super pissed off since I had to cancel all my appointments and errands the whole day tapos they will only deliver it at an unholy hour. Never experienced such with other stores and since this is my first time of transacting with them, mukhang madadala na ko. I told them they deliver it today instead on a time I specified. If they are late again, I'm going back to their store and demand a refund. They delivered it earlier than I expected.

Question, to those who bought Electrolux ref did you still "earth" it as written in the instructions/manual? Late na dumating si hubby and he's too lazy &  tired to deal withthe setup. I'll be doing this Tom on my own. Can't delay it since our old ref will be picked up Tom afternoon.

^^grounding ba ang ibig mong sabihin sis? if you stay in a condo, required na ang grounding so you just ask the resident electrician to ground it for you, usually sa outlet pinapadaan. if you stay in a house, usually hindi na rin nasusunod ang grounding ng ref. unless compressor ng split-type aircon or cable tv cabling, may mga rod ito na tinutusok sa lupa/ground kasi prone ang mga to sa lightning strike, so if ever there's a strike, maabsorb lang ng lupa and hindi masisira ang appliance and hindi ka rin makukuryente kung hinawakan mo ang appliance na basa ang kamay mo.

^yes. Earthing kasi yung term written in the manual. My dad advised me the same. Para iwas kuryente with the kids. I had the condo electrician install the ref yesterday morning. If I'll wait for my husband Baka til now di pa naka setup. Anyway, I love my new Electrolux. Hopefully I'll see changes in the consumption. Oh my daughter keeps playing with the thermostat. Di kaya magka-problem ako later on? It's specified kasi you shouldn't change the setting 24hrs after changing it.

^^i had a Panasonic for 6 yrs and we didn't have an issue with the gasket. Just make sure to always wipe that area to prevent molding. Yan kasi ang nakakasira sa gasket

Hi! Balak ko kasi mag sell ng calamansi here in manila kasi nakukuha ko siya ng mura sa province. Ang problem ko lang is since im just starting, baka wala pa ako masyadong customers. What is the best way to store the calamansi para hindi agad ito maging yellow or masira? Keep it in a cool place , refrigerate it or ilagay sa freezer? Thank you guys

Pag nilagay naman sa freezer at itinago dun for maybe 3 days, what will happen pag inilabas na ito at may bumili, mas mabilis ba ito masira compared sa itinago lang sa cool place or ref?

Right now, Im experimenting, pero nagbabasakali ako na meron sa inyo na may experience na dito at matulungan ako. Thank you

Got the Samsung 7.7cuft bottom freezer at 16,+++ I hope tumagal naman at di agad masira since sa room lang namin nakalagay and kami lang ni hubby ang gagamit. I love it 

LED ang lights nya and the bottom freezer with 3 containers is a winner for me.

To those who bought Electrolux... Can you share your power savings in KWH (not in php since iba-iba ang rate depending on the area). Got my first billing using the Electrolux and our consumption went down by 40kwh. I'm hoping next billing this will still go down since part of the current billing old ref pa gamit namin. My husband said if by next month we get a significant change, he wants to switch our aircon units to inverter too.

tumaas ang billing namin ng meralco, not because of our electrolux ref or our inverter aircons, but due to the fact na nagtaas na naman ng singil ang meralco ng june and sa news kanina, they will hike up electricity costs na naman this july and august. perwisyo talaga!
