got 7cu ft. 1 door condura ref for me and hubby kaming 2 pa lang naman kaya ok na kami dun.. also, kinda tried and tested na samin ang condura kasi we got a two door condura ref last 2009 before mag-ondoy.. ngayon in good working condition pa din yung ref sa bahay ng mother ko, parang bago pa din

as per the salesman, condura daw ang #1/best seller na brand ng ref.. kasi durable at puwedeng pang-business.. so kung pang business diba ibig sabihin heavy duty.. eh for presonal use lang naman namin.. and gawang pinoy.. also, he explained na most refs wala ng bakal sa likod, sorry di ko alam tawag dun.. basta yung parang coils sa likod.. mas madali daw masira pag walang ganun.. also, semi-automatic defrost kaya 60% ng lamig mare-retain kaya tipid sa kuryente

Mga sis, tip lang!

Nasira yung ref namin dahil sa paulit ulit na power fluctuations nung bagyo. Sobrang sayang and ang mahal irepair.

So pag bibili kayo ng ref, bilhan niyo kaagad ng power regulator para mas secure.

Nung nasira ref namin, nagresearch talaga ako ng power regulators. I'm now using yung Ref Clock Saver for our ref. So far so good Hope hindi na ulit masira ref namin dahil sa power fluctuations

since we started using our electrolux side-by-side and our 2 panasonic eco inverter aircon in our condo, our meralco bill has dramatically decreased. from 4.5-5k a month, our bill has dropped to almost 30% since sep 2011, our bill ranges from 3-3.5k na lang. and may fully automatic washer and dryer pa ko na i thought mabigat din sa kuryente. matipid na talaga ang mga new technology ngayong panahon unlike before.

^ngayon ko lang naintindihan na "eco range tech" pala ang ref namin hehe kaya matipid sa kuryente. sis, sa site nila, the two-door ref models carrying the eco-range tech are ETM4200 SB and ETE5200 SB. kung minimal lang naman ang price difference sis from ETB2900VPC, go for the eco range model na lang. judging from my experience, energy efficient talaga ang eco range ref. here's the link: http://www.electrolux.com.ph/node374.aspx

^ went to anson's trinoma yesterday, same din sabi ng SA sa akin about the inverter vs direct cooling type daw. mas recommend nya ang direct type like electrolux and whirlpool...kaso i didn't like the look of their whirlpool refs, so i'm swayed to get the electrolux...

We also went to ansons landmark in trinoma. Unfortunately, they cant beat the offer of ansons makati. So dun na lang kami binili. Ill take note of the eco range. Kaya lang sana may 10cu na size or something that would fit our space. Thanks sis cindylulu.

worth it ba talaga ang price difference ng single door sa two door. in the long run ba talagang mas tipid sa kuryente pag two door ang ref?

^afaik, yes sis. when you have a two-door ref, you do not have to open the freezer door unless needed, so less consumption of electricity. mas malakas ang lamig na lumabas sa pagbukas ng ref, mas malakas ang kain ng kuryente.

Question mga sis, nasabi dito na yung Inverter-type, mas makakatipid kung palaging bukas sara yung ref as opposed to regular type na makakatipid kung di naman palaging bukas sara.

Kung sa tulad ko na hindi naman ako palabukas sara ng ref unless may kelangan kunin, ok na ba ang eco range na ref instead of the inverter type?

Yung EEF niya (wala kasi yung yellow sticker) sabi nung SA nila nasa 200+ tapos nasa 100kw/24-h ang energy consumption niya.

Second one is from Kelvinator.

Yung EEF niya 209 tapos 0.73kw/24-h ang energy consumption. My brother and dad liked this ref so much kasi color black.

Third one is from GE na hindi ko maalala anong model pero silver siya tapos may top something na siya na pwede patungan ng microwave. Yung EEF niya nasa 239 tapos 0.63kw/24-h ang energy consumption.

i think its true naman judging from our bill,i bought it january,and our bill for feb. is only 2k,
sakop sya ng buong period ng meralco bill.

just a suggestion lang sis, if price is not a consideration, look also into the electrolux eco range models. the technology this german brand is using for their eco range is more sophisticated than inverter technology.

^ I was considering on getting GE nalang kasi mataas ang EEF kaso inexplain sa akin ng SA sa Kelvinator which made sense na may hole yung freezer sa GE so ang tendency niya gagamit daw ng kuryente kasi bumababa yung lamig dun sa hole papuntang chiller then the rest ng ref while sa Kelvinator, saradong sarado, meaning, walang hole tapos pag malamig na daw yung freezer, yung lamig dun bababa sa chiller. Kaya, ayun lalo ako naguluhan haha

I am living alone kasi so yung Eco Range ng Electrolux, malaki na for me. Single door ref lang kelangan ko and 6 and less cubic feet carry na

actually sis yun talaga pinagpipilian ko yung electrolux model na side by side at yung LG inverter, kapag cash 50k ang electrolux whereas 51k ang LG inverter model GR-B207BSJV down from SRP of 74,995 (eto ang naging triggering factor why i eventually chose this over the electrolux  and  sav din kasi ng s.a. in the long run mas makakatipid daw sa inverter series. sori i forgot the exact model of the electrolux.

^^baliktad yata understanding mo sa sabi ko sis hehe. the eco range technology of electrolux is more advanced (euro and australian standard kasi) than the inverter technology na ngayon pa lang sa pinas na introduce.

I went to sm megamall earlier to canvass for refrigerators. I'm not sure if I understood the SA right but only Panasonic, Whirlpool and Electrolux have inverter technology. Parang ayokong maniwala that it is only limited to those 3 brands. For whirlpool they call it adaptive technology. He mentioned something that being more superior than the inverter cause inverters daw only focuses on the compressor unlike the adaptive which focuses on the whole workings of the ref.

I have about Php 40k budget for a single door. I'd be willing to shell more for a double but the provision in our kitchen only allows a single. the ones I saw earlier ranges from Php 34-39k and the capacity ranges from 12-15.5 cu ft

Oh which store has a lot of choices?
