ganito na lang sis, why not TRY the regularization? at least wala kang 'what if?!' un kasi magpapahirap sayo in the long run pag hindi mo ini-accept now.
tutal kapag di mo nagustuhan or naramdaman mong nag-sacrifice talaga family life... pwede mong bitawan.
meron kang pa ding option: the project based...
~~ well, i dont know the details of your situation huh...opinion lang...

pray for HIs guidance.. sign?  ;)

hi alexi,
I think it's better to get the regular post dahil sa benefits especially the medicard lalo at may anak ka na. Medical bills can be really expensive.  I was also on a consultant status noong nasa Pilipinas pa ako.

You can always come back to a consultant status whenever you feel like it anyway.

I am on this visa. When you get a state sponsorship it is a good indication that you will also get approved for the skilled migrant visa.

thanks sisses yazilove, koi and lalei!

yes today na. i hope wag akong tanungin. hehe
seriously, my daughter's 3yo. sila lang ni yaya naiiwan sa house everyday. and that's what's eating me up with guilt everyday too. =o(

that's why i'm bent on giving this up and and do project-based consultancy. i think i'd rather have the "career what-ifs" than the "parenting what-ifs"...

sigh... i know God has great plans for me, for us.
oh well.

i hope everyone has a great week ahead!

Actually depende sa region na pupuntahan mo. In my case, andito ako sa biggest rural city in the state of Victoria. 1 hour train ride kami from Melbourne, and we live near the waterfront, about 7 minutes walk. Adelaide, the centre of South Australia is also considered a region in the migration sense pero city centre siya ng isang state.

Sinulat ko ang steps na ginawa ko: http://migrantmumdownunder.blogspot.com/2009/04/it-was-my-husband-then-boyfriend-who.html

hope this helps. The immigration website is your best resource to properly choose which is the best visa for you and your family. Just be diligent in reading all the relevant pages.

You sound so like a good friend. She is also doing consultancy work so she can work from home and has 2 yaya/househelp for her little girl turning 1 next month so 2 people look after the baby when she leaves the house for meetings etc.  She is really protective of her baby since there is really not much work to do in their house for 2 househelp.  They live in a condo.

'm a mum to be. pede pasali sa thread?

I'm 27 years living in Sydney. 16 weeks pregnanct due on March 2010.

Parehas tyo sis isisalexi  ng take on parenting. Ganun din ako, I would give up working just so I can be with my baby. Marami changes sa work ngayon e. Most likely, I wouldn't be able to keep this job. Iniisip ko na [textspeak!], good timing na din kasi buntis ako and i'll have more time to rest before I give birth. Di ako papayag na as early as a few months old e papa-alaga ko na baby ko sa mga childcare centres dito. I'd rather give up work. Then pag mejo malaki na siya, siguro that's when I'll think about going back to the workforce.  :D

Hi Mommies,

Just would like to ask kung anong age nag-stop mag-formula milk ang mga anak nyo? Dito kasi from 12 months health professionals are already encouraging to move to regular cow's milk. Hindi ko ito ginawa dahil may nakita kaming Neslac toddler milk at believer pa rin ako na maganda ang formula kasi fortified with vitamins and nutrients. Kaso ngayong 18 months na si baby wala ng Neslac, pinalitan na nila ng NAN Toddler in vanilla flavour which I don't like. Gusto ko milk lang talaga.  We tried to put him back to NAN 2 which he had from 6-12 months kaso ayaw na nya ng lasa.

did you tell the doctor that you are pregnant? Ndi rin ako nag-risk mag-take ng any medicine apart from the vitamins nung buntis ako kahit pakiramdam ko ay may UTI ako. Kung makakaya mong water and fruit therapy to make the cough go away, it's better. otherwise, consult ka sa GP or OB mo especially kung magka-fever ka.

mommies kumusta na kayo? Sana ay maayos naman kayong lahat despite what happened. My heart and prayers go to all those families affected by several natural disasters this past week. Ito ba ang balik sa atin ni mother nature as a wake up call?
