Super liked this thread kasi dami kong nalalamang tips on planning my son's first birthday...

Sa June pa naman bday ng baby ko pero ngayon palang eh nag-iisip na ako kung pano ko icecelebrate bday nya. Medyo tight budget din ako kaya balak ko jolliebee or sa bahay nalang gawin,hopefully eh makadecide na ako..ang hirapa pala mag plan hehe

just had a successfull christening of my daughter last Jan. 8 then now am start preparing for her 1st bday on May...I need to back read para magkaroon ng maraming ideas.

Hi Sisses,

I am already planning for my baby's first birthday kahit na sa June pa yun. Hubby and I wanted it to be a memorable one. Now ko lang nrealize na super expensive na pala ang mga parties kahit na for  one year old.

First kami nag inquire sa Outback. May feedback ba kayo about them? Thanks a lot. If you have other suggestions, I would really appreciate it. TIA.

@anne, sa Outback Libis ba?  Check the venue if kakasya sa number of guests mo.  May parking naman doon.  Bagay ang Outback sa cowboy or cowgirl theme.

@ sis marose17 - ngvisit kami dun last sunday sabi daw kasya [textspeak!] 100 adults and 30 kids pero parang masikip yata. [textspeak!] parking nga ang nagustuhan ni hubby. plan namin Up Theme yung party ni baby or jungle safari.

I'm a first time mom so uber excited for my daughter's 1st bday which is on the last quarter of the year pa...I'm already talking to a party planner as early as now teehee! 

Initial Plans:

Venue: Mahogany Place Clubhouse
Venue Dress up: c/o my pp
Caterer: Imight get Verleo or Blue Petals
Dessert Buffet: Sanfo's 18,800+ package but I read here mychocolateheaven's package is maganda, just want to check if they can do themed set up as well
Foodcarts: NYFD and FIC or Fiorgelato (or way too many desserts na?)
Host/Magician: I want Flooch or Ruther
Photobooth: Usmile
Lootbags: going to order from the states
Prizes: where in Divi? (by the way, I thought "Divilandia" was an online store, I was tryong to google it LOL!)
Invites/thank you tags: i think i'll get from my pp na lang din

Has anyone here tried Manila Ocean Park as venue?

Sharing my cousin's simple party in Shakey's Walter Mart Pampanga last Jan 22. As always in our family, I was asked by my aunt to help out in the preparations. Given the limited budget, we were able to come up with a party that was enjoyed by our adult and kiddie guests. Thank you to the ideas I got here in GT and SP. Sis Sachism, i did some backreading and saw your post re: Lo-ok, Manila Ocean Park. Hubby's considering it but its a bit pricey for me. Between the two of us, I'm the kuripot one kasi    I want to stick to my budget of 120-130k for 150 guests

Hi everyone would like to join in I really enjoy reading all the forums here I've been a gt user for a long time na since my daughter's 1st bday (2009) but I just usually browse and check out the forums.
I'm already planning my 3rd daughter's bday ( yes since 2008  I have 3 kids already) lol , I would love to give her a wonderful party like the ones I gave for my 2 kids but of course I'm also considering my budget. We have been spending so much yearly for these parties so it really is a challenge to prepare and to make sure that it can at least equal to some extent the previous ones without going over my budget. Of course there are escalations every year since rates of suppliers increase. Very suprising because some increase 30 to 50%! I'm planning to have a party again in a clubhouse with catering, entertainment, food carts etc. What do you think should I give more importance to? Thanks would like to hear from all of you happy planning to all of us

first time ko mag post dito, actually coz i really really want to plan baby girl's first birthday na  , and napaisip ako na what better way to ask for advice/suggestions than from fellow mommies na may experiences na! 

so far i have the vintage cirque du bebe theme in mind  - with orange/yellow/hot pink and zebra stripes for the motif. gusto ko maraming feathers and maraming balloons and games to have the circus feel. what do you think about that? i started researching sa google and i came across yung events by ralph - any feedback about dun mommies? actually dito ko na nabasa yung ibang suppliers.. like verleo and kids kastles.. bukas na bukas i'll start giving calls para i'll get a ballpark figure para mabudget namin ni hubby-to-be (iba pa ang wedding preps!)

Love the theme I'm sure it will turn out well ! I think there was a thread here where the mom had a circus theme and opted to have more food carts and merienda cena food for a more festive feel you can also get the golden show as side entertainment had him for my daughter's 1st bday the guests even the adults were so amused and awed by his performance   hope this helps happy planning!

@hunny_ally, san po yung chocolates lover and how much po yung treasure chest nila? I'm also planning kasi on having a pirates theme for my son's 1st birthday and your post really helped me! I'm still looking for give-aways na pwede sa theme. thanks in advance! 

when party ng baby mo? pirate theme din ako, last punta ko sa divisoria, mejo madami ako nabili na toys for pirate prizes. like swords bandana telescope =)
