Sis, my personal choice is Alex. Siya ang dapat na na hire kong Magician because of good reviews.   Pag nag back read ka sa mga post, alex talaga is one of the best.

Flooch is 2nd (on my personal choice).  But, parang may narinig ako kay Boogie (and friends pa ata yan) na hindi maganda.

OMG. Nakakarelate ako dito. Haha. As in kinabahan den ako sa kanya. Feeling ko baka mag-MIA sya on the bday. Pero she was there the whole time. Buti na lang namention nya one time na magkasama sila ni John Aguas, event photographer one weekend. Eh I personally know John Aguas from way back (pero hindi nya alam na kilala ko sya) so I texted Sir Aguas to ask if she was a legit party planner and kung magkasama nga ba sila that day and he replied "Yes. Don't worry. You are in good hands with Emie"... so yun nagdownpayment na kami ni hubby and ni-kwento ko sa kanya what I did and what Sir Aguas said. She was understanding naman.

Mindy you Ms. Emie has a strong personality and you should be upfront with what you want. Eh upfront naman ako with what I want and mabusisi sa expenses.  Sinabihan nga nya ako na dapat businesswoman daw ako at hindi empleyado.

Will be a repeat customer. We got her catering services and host/magician/puppet/ballon host Butch Gonzales plus backdrop. Hindi sana ako kukuha ng backdrop but she gave me a deal I couldn't resist.

hello! i'm a newbie here. this is my first post actually. i have been reading forums like this because i'm planning for my nephew's first birthday on august. my sister and i are really excited about it!

i would like to ask if anyone has tried big red barn or grand barnyard for a birthday party. di ako sure sa buffet food nila kung masarap. actually, dun kami nagchristmas party ng mga students ko last december and 2 yrs ago. well, we got plated meals for kids and teachers. i must say, hndi masyado extraordinary yung lasa.

what i like naman about the venue are the following: location being near our house and our friends/relatives' houses, may play area inside the function room, konting decor na lang ang kelangan gawin dun i think coz it looks party-ish na, and syempre yung mga rides sa labas. we're thinking nga of including one ride ticket as souvenir giveaway sa mga kids aside from the loot bags.

pa-help naman mga sis. baka may ibang place kayo na masusuggest or any comments about big red barn.

Hi sis! yung niece ko nag celebrate na diyan sa big red barn. Heres my two cents worth:

1. VENUE
PROS - the venue itself is may "party feel" na, and what's its best under one roof na ang lahat ng mga rides, naeexcite na ang mga kids to play around dahil sa dami nilang nakikita. Than sa loob ng function rooms nila may MINI PLAYGROUND na which is very patok sa mga kids and ok siya as side entertainment. At siyempre free na ang venue since consumable sa food yung rental fee.
CONS - they only give you "one hour" to set up, hindi kakayanin ng balloon decorator mo ang set up time nila. Malas mo pa kung ang nauna sa iyo eh mabagal pa kumilos at kakainin nila ang set up time mo.

2. FOOD
PROS - Ok naman ang food (adult menu), wala namang nagreklamo. And ang kiddie food nila (plated menu) is mura na.
CONS - Feeling ko walang buffer ang food, kasi nung naubusan kami ng food eh wala na talaga silang mailabas na food.

3. FOOD CARTS
PROS - Ok yung ice cream nila.
CONS - If you are going to bring food carts from other supplier, they charge 1K per cart.

4. ENTERTAINMENT
PROS - They have wide selections of entertainment na pwede mong pagpilian.
CONS - I think kung hindi nila accredited ang mga entertainers, they also charge 1K din. Im not so sure about it.

*** We also used TICKET RIDES as part of the prizes, which is gustong gusto ng mga chikiting.

I have waited for weeks na and I think that's enough, i should move on and look for another PP/Party Stylist.

^ was in that dillemma b4. i know how it feels. yep...you better have plan A plan B even up till plan E, mahirap na mangarag sa party date mismo

@sis sachism- you might want to email them again. Dami lang siguro kasabay yung mga emails mo sa kanila and di lahat nasasagot nila agad. You may try texting or calling them and tell them that you just sent an inquiry for your event. The important is first scout for your venue first [textspeak!] yun yung important and kung sabay yung baptism pati yung church booked mo na din then that's when the PP comes in....

I have emailed and texted them.. I guess they are busy... So i should have other options too..D naman pwede na magantay na lang ako kung kelan sila pwede sumagot.. Customer din naman ako kahit papano...this whole thng about chasing ay nakakapagod din.. I should look for someone na may time sumagot sa mga tanong ko...
