Thanks mga sis sa replies. I appreciate it. My buget will be around 60-70k. Sa food wala na ako prob kasi may kilala naman mom ko na caterer. Nakaisip na din ako ng theme. BEE Birthday sana.. Common na kasi [textspeak!] iba.. Like disney princesses, mickey mouse, pooh, etc.

@uptown_mom, can you share me your expenses per category? And yung mga suppliers na carry ng budget.

San nga pala kayo nagpagawa ng costumes ng baby nio? Meron ba sa divi na patahian.

hi sis! wow nice theme! alam mo i saw the cutest bee outfit (girly not costume-y ah) kay carmela fe! grabe i wanna wear it! haha! watch her pre event video sa thor prod kids sa facebook (carmela@7). if i'm not mistaken, sis natin mom ni carmela fe. maybe you can ask her where she got it and the price.

i'll pm you my budget soon ah. so far naiisip ko isuggest for your party yung kiddie lootbag. if you like para mukhang in theme, buy yellow colored na no print plastic bag sa divi (yung hard paper bag style 10-18each) then pagawa ka ng sticker thank you tag tapos design is bee (around 10pesos each). then mga 1-2 toys per lootbag (may 7.50 each sa 2nd floor ng divimall) then assorted candies. or instead of toys, bubbles (2.50each) i think budget would play around 40-50pesos per lootbag

korek si sis bluekaren780. Ako kasi as much as possible ayoko lumaki sa luho ang anak ko and would want them to see the value in simple things.

Para sa akin pinakaimportant yung baptism than birthdays dahil parang kasal un kasi one of the sacraments. More than 40K nagastos namin baptismal ng eldest ko noong 2009, then nung 1st birthday mas malake ng konti almost 50K. Hindi kami mayaman pero pinaghandaan ng parents ko yung binyag ko nun, and until now it still feels good knowing nagawa un ng parents ko for me. Kaya ganun din for my kids hanggat hindi pa sila nagaaral.

Sa baby girl ko 50K nagastos namin  s binyag nya. malamang same rin magastos namin for her birthday this May.

Masarap rin magprepare for birthdays and baptism kasi dami nila narereceive na gifts na hindi mu nman kayang bilhin lahat.

Pero pag nagkakaisip na sila even on their 7th bday hindi na ako maghanda ng ganun. Baka pasyal na lang out of town or country pag nakaipon

Iba iba rin ng priorities yan kami kasi pinagiipunan talaga namin months ahead. Pero usapan namin ng husband ko ngaun lang un pag nagaral sila wala na. Nagsecond birthday ang eldest ko nagtagaytay na lang kami. Masarap rin [textspeak!] feeling na nagiipon ka para sa mga anak mu and nakikita mu an dami nila natatanggap na gifts.

Our budget for our daughter's first birthday this May is 50K, same din na lang  sa venue sa eldest ko nung 2009. Pixie Forest Alabang. Enjoy naman yung party, para sa mga bata okay na yung mga games and mascots na sumasayaw, after nun sawa sila sa rides. The parents told me na enjoy mga anak nila pati sila.

Ask ko lang mga sis, what do you think na mga bagay na useless lang ilagay sa isang party?

1. What kind of foods na akala natin ok pero hindi naman pala kakainin ng mga chikiting?
2. Entertainment na akala natin nakakatuwa, pero bored to death na pala panoorin ng mga guest.
3. Things na gusto natin ipamigay pero hindi naman din pala gagamitin ng mga guests at mga bata.
4. Decorations na akala natin na nakakaaliw pero hindi naman din pala mapapansin ng mga guests.

Its my son's 1 bday, parang excited to do everything. Pero I know i will be getting stuffs na excited lang akong bilhin, pero hindi ko alam na sayang lang at hindi mapapansin or hindi rin gagamitin.

1. do u have any suggestions for the venue within, pasig or mandaluyong area lan with 4-6k budget lan po? gusto ko sana sa alexandra or lexington garden but need ng sponsorship.. wala naman po akong kakilala na pwede mag sponsor.

Hi! My daughter is turning 1 on March 23 this year.  I'm thinking of having the celebration at Mc Do ( which is cheaper than Jollibee ) kasi la na time pa para magprepare and wala rin magluluto kaya lang sabi nila di pa naman niya  maappreciate yung mga mascot and games. I'm choosing to celebrate it na lang with family and friends. Naisip kong sa park na lang ang venue, malapit sa playground kasi puro bata rin mga cousins niya. My dilemma is that her birthday falls on a weekday and lahat may pasok. I really want to celebrate it on the exact date pero baka wala pumunta, we celebrate it on  saturday pero siyempre iba nang araw un? please help me decide

pero we will celebrate it sa March 2, naka leave kami from work, then may cake na sya at balloons pati foods...the family will celebrate the birthday, then we will try to go to church and spend time with her on her special day...
