tinamad na naman ako magcontinuous ng collagen. minsan kasi inaantok na ko kaya di na ko nagtitimpla. tatlo lang natry ko powder collagen: meiji regular, meiji premium, shiseido. i guess kung may forever budget ako e sa shiseido na ko. pero yun nga lumalaki lalo ang mukha ko. plump sya pero sagging pa din ang skin ko.

Matagal-tagal na din akong hindi nakapag-GT.
Naisipan ko lang mag-post dito for the benefit of others na gusto mag-try mag-collagen.

I've been using collagen for a year now, but about two weeks ago I stopped taking it dahil nagkasakit ako at hindi ako makapag-timpla... pero no worries, HINDI collagen ang cause nung sakit ko at sadyang masama pakiramdam ko lately kaya wala akong lakas magtimpla.


Anyway, back to my review.. The first brand of collagen i tried was ZARIA, which my mom bought from her gym buddy. after a week of using it ko nakita yung effect kaya sa sobrang tuwa ko nagresearch ako agad online about it.

From ZARIA, i tried MEIJI Premium for about 5 months. Naging maganda yung effect niya 3 days palang nakita ko na agad effect... and about the "plumping" effect that some may see as getting "chubbier" is actually TRUE but in my case nagustuhan ko siya lalo kasi medyo payat talaga ako tignan although malakas naman ako kumain lalo na yung face ko so naging okay saking yung plumping effect. Sa skin naman super smooth lalo na kapag nag-apply ng makeup, nafeel ko talaga na may something different kasi usually nagbbuo-buo ang foundie ko.. umabot din ako sa point na feeling ko ang ganda ko na kahit walang foundie haha chos! pero dahil nga dun hindi na ako nagffoundation madalas sunblock then baby powder nalang.. or minsan bb cream na parang tintend moisturizer lang ang dating kasi light coverage lang to even out the skin.

For the negative effects naman about sa MEIJI premium padin.. nagkaron ng time na parang may butlig or pimple ako sa forehead at cheeks paisa-isa lang naman so naisip ko baka sa collagen ito so i tried searching reviews online and i found out that some people do experience the same thing and ang nairecommend nung mga nabasa ko is to lessen the amount of powder. so diba may scooper na kasama yung package? ang ginawa ko is hindi ko pinupuno yung scooper. tapos ayun nasolve naman, medyo nakatipid din hehe naisip ko baka masyadong matapang for my body kasi matagal na akong nagttake.


Next, due to financial reasons hehe... i tried replacing Meiji with  BB Collagen with Placenta. Difference between the two is that marine collagen ang gamit ni Meiji Premium which is yung mahal and most article online claims to be more effective than pork-derived collagen used by cheaper brands like BB collagen with placenta.

Pero no choice at mas mura si BB collagen kaya ito na ang ginagamit ko.. maganda din naman ang effect. pero ayun nga dahil nagkasakit ako (which is totally unrelated to me taking collagen) hindi ako makapag timpla, and for about 2 weeks akong hindi nakakapagtake.

Napansin ko lang ngayon may mga rough spots ako sa face unlike dati caused by whiteheads.. kahit mag nose strips ako ang bilis bumalik at gumaspang... dati kasi i just exfoliate once a week pero okay na.. and nose strip for like once in 2weeks pero ngayon nga parang hindi na ganun ka smooth ang skin ko... saka pumayat ako pero syempre may factor din yung nagkasakit ako.

Tonight i'll take collagen again, I'm feeling much better now and i think i completely get over my illness na... pero mga 1week nalang itatagal nung supply ko.
But i'm planning to order MEIJI Premium again then kapag naghirap ulit lol joke..  after a month mag bb collagen ako ulit alternate ko nalang sila..


Kayo mga sis? may bago bang collagen products or brands na mas okay?

I've been taking meiji collagen for some time na, pero c mader talaga ang pinapatake ko.. grabe halos lahat ng nakakasalubong ni mader ang lagi sabi parang ang youthful ni mader, hindi daw nagbago.. thinking senior citizen na siya ah.. nakakatuwa pag naririnig ko yun kasi ako nagencourage sa kanya na magtake non, at ako din ang sponsor niya ng meiji premium. Haha.

Because of that naisipan ko din siya itake just to test, pero pansin ko parang dumami yung comedones ko Or butlig butlig. Possible kaya yun? Na yung meiji yung nagccause non? Anyone here experienced that? Thanks

Parating pa lang yung Meiji Profec ko, kasi gusto ko naman healthy tummy. I tried meiji regular, meiji premium and orihiro, okay naman silang lahat pero fave ko si meiji premium. gusto ko kasi fish-derived kasi pescetarian ako.

How about reducing the amount of powder?    wag mo punuuin yung scooper. I did experience having small pimples with meiji pero hindi butlig.. yun lang ginawa ko bawas lang sa powder then nawala na. Im taking meiji premium na ulit.

Marami na available ngayon na collagen in tablet or powder form.

I suggest you try collagen derived from Fish (or Marine Collagen); it's more potent than animal collagen.

I am happy with the result of ivi except for the chubby cheeks effect. Mas maganda ba yung Fine kesa sa Ivi?

^^ No bad effects sis. Although in my case nung nag full scoop ako ng collagen may nag appear na very small bumps sa cheek. So gradual intake lang muna.. nag half scoop ako at first.

^ I also tried Meiji Premium. Yung iba mas nagustuhan nila yung effect ng premium. You have to take it everyday to really see the effect. At least finish the can/pack. Depende rin siguro sa user yung bilis.
Sakin parang di ko nakita yung malaking difference, siguro dahil na din sa age. Ako kasi prevention lang for skin aging kaya i'm contented na sa regular.
