it used to be my dream job, a childhood dream even. but after a year of experience on this field, i don't know. sometimes i am happy but most of the times i feel like am just working to pay the bills and save some money for the future. i want an 8-5 duty when i reach 27 y/o, don't like anymore to be in Operations.

this isn't my dream job but this isn't too stressful like my previous jobs. siguro I'm just working to pay the bills pero I can say I feel more active now. I used to work GY shift ngayon I'm working dayshift.

my present 'salaried' work is not my dream job.  it's a job by accident kumbaga.  but if they were paying 150k++, who i am to complain?!  it pays the bills, it pays my luho(ek, di pa ako maluho ha--frugal shopper ako), at malaki nabibigay ko sa mga magulang ko.

My job has lots and lots of perks!!! Most of my officemates are young kaya light ang atmosphere. Wala masyadong politika. I work in one of the top multinational companies in the world. Kaso...my sweldo is not that big yet. Hirap kasi may anak nako, di kaya talaga. Pero ang managerial level (5-7 yrs w/ the company), exagg yung sweldo!!!!  Yung cons lang talaga is: present low salary, EXAGG WORKLOAD OVEROVEROVERLOAD.

HAY. Dilemma talaga. Stay with the company na fun pero mabuang ka dahil bigat ng workload? Or move somewhere else..though di ko alam kung san. haha

Freelancing isn't exactly my dream job. In fact, I always see myself on a stable employed job overseas. Freelancing was the last thing I'd enter into when I was building my dreams.

Yet, I'm happy as a freelancer now. But no, I don't just work to pay the bills - my freelance income is very sufficient enough to pay the bills and even enjoy more.

Maybe, if I had pursued my dream job, I would also get good pay and opportunities, but my income as a freelancer is almost as good as going overseas. I'd rather stay here until maybe freelancing get sour.

Interesting! when I was a freelance consultant, my dream was also to work overseas. Now that I am working overseas, I would like to be back in freelancing once again lol.

Honestly, I was more happy while I was doing a freelance job coz I am with my family and my time is flexible. But money wise, I earn more today than when I was freelancing. So, for me as of today, its really a battle between comfort and earning a lot.

minsan I'm thinking sana I have an artisitic talent, and my job is a way of expressing that talent.  something that I feel real passion, something that I would want to do 7 days a week

Sa dami ng mga raket na ginawa ko in the past and present malamang natumbok ko na yung dream job ko, but I still work now kasi si mommy ko ayaw sa babaeng idle lang sa bahay, sayang daw pinag-aralan. Besides sabi nila, yung mga nagwowork daw can help you stay sharp when you get old. Of course, ok din ang sweldo, pandagdag sa savings =)
