my 1 yr old pekingese (Sofi) delivered 3 puppies and the sire is my 1 year old shih tzu (Tinker) naman nakita namin kung pano lumabas yung 3 puppies sa dam, hindi sya masyado nahirapan ilabas, paglabas ng puppies nililinis nya lagi and sya na rin kumain nung sa may pusod, and nakakatuwa sobrang maalaga sya... nirecommend ng vet na puppy food pa rin pakain kay sofi, binigyan namin ng vitamins repro-vit saka calcium

dati sila ang babies ko ngayon meron ng 3 cute puppies na pinagkakaguluhan sa house

We too! Our lab gave birth to 8 cute puppies: 4-black, 2-white, and 2-spotted. Sobrang cute nila, lalu na yung isang white na mana sa tatay na chinese sharpei, ang panget ng mukha pero sobrang cute. Haha! Yung nanay sobrang lambing na ok lang hawakan namin yung mga pups.

good day, what is the temperament of the lab? how do they attack? I had a neighbor with two labs, they run fast and some people are scared? how do u deal with an approaching mature lab?

^sis sobrang lambing ng lab namin po. Siguro pag me magnanakaw wala maitutulong at bihira kumahol pag feeling nya lang ata. Haha! When she gave birth to her puppies sobrang bait coz pwede namin hawakan mga puppies.

my mix papillon aspin is almost 9weeks old teething stage now.learns fast, i guess this is the quickest time to train a puppy, after a week of potty trainning her,she does her thing inside the bathroom floor.Im amazed to know that half-breeds are smart,just like human half-breeds.LOL!

currently nursing one two-week old shih tzu. there were four in the litter but only one survived. they were our bundle of joy. only one left so he's got our full attention now.

2 weeks old na today si Tiara (toy poodle). May kapatid sya sana but was still birth. Wawa... Everyone here at home is sooo aliw. Now can't wait for us to start dressing her up too.  How long kaya until we can bath her na?  Till now hindi parin sya nag oopen ng eyes. Parang new born parin 

For Highness, the mom we give her Kawu, milk and balik sa puppy yung food nya while nursing... Plus vitamins din pala. Good thing she is not over protective of her baby. As in we can carry and touch her baby anytime we want. Pati sya gusto parin mag pakamot ng tummy...

hi mga sis, our new baby arrived just a couple of hours ago. Yorkie na baby boy. 6 weeks pa lang sya pero na deworm na daw and 5-in-1 na turok. medyo worried pa kami kase baka magselos si Chloe. ano nga pala pwede ko pakain sa kanya? plan ko pumunta pet shop tomorrow to buy milk and bottle na din. or any feeding bottle and milk will do? tia!

wait sis, 6 weeks pa lang na sa inyo na? hindi ako gaanong nagwoworry sa selosan, mas nagwoworry ako kasi super bata pa nya at weak pa ang immune system. If I mas ask, gulat lang kasi talaga ako, bakit nasa inyo na agad sya? relative nyo ba may ari ng parents nya?

Anyway, meron ng available puppy feeding bottles, sa malalaking pet shops ka pumunta para sigurado, bili ka na rin ng food bowl kasi at 1 month pwede na sila kumain ng solid food mixed with milk or water para lumambot. Depende kung anong food ang ibibigay nyo. Sa milk, pag yung for newborns ang gusto mo ibigay, kahit yung maliit na lang or yung cosi milk kasi pwede na naman sya kumain, kumbaga as a supplement and to soften the food na lang ang purpose ng milk.

Pero kung di ka makahanap sa petshops, marami ring available na milk replacer for puppies, search mo lang sa net, basta ang main ingredient is evap milk with some water or goat's milk, (bawal ang cow's milk because most dogs are lactose intolerant) raw egg, vitamins, yogurt. Sa deworming and vaccines, 3x-4x ang administration, sundin nyo yung sched para makaiwas sa virus kasi ang bata pa nya talaga to be taken away from his litter. Hanap ka rin ng vitamins to boost his immune system.

  ^^ We use milkodog for our pups. Meron mas murang brands ng milk replacer but mas ok daw milkodog.

Yung 6 wk old pups namin now eat canidae kibbles. Matigas sya, mahirap daw lumambot maski matagal naka soak sa h20, so cinidikdik. Canidae + milkodog ang diet nila. No vitamins yet kasi nakalimutan bumili sa mercury. Hehe

I agree with abuanddiego na super early pa at 6wks for the pup to be separated from the mom. In the US may law against that. Anyway, take extra good care of it nalang kundi pwede isama uli sa nanay nya.  And work closely with your vet. I hope also na na-check up na rin sya ng vet para makita kung ok overall condition nya.

Btw, Ask your vet narin for proper dosage ng vitamins.

thanks @abuanddiego and @twelve5 for the recommendations. actually 7 weeks na pala. January 14 kase bday nya. Tito ko yung may ari ng mom nya. Actually si Chloe namin sa kanya din galing and dinala din samin before sya mag 2 months. I guess di ko na lang masyado palalapitin muna kay Chloe kase baka carrier si Chloe ng sakit. I understand kase na weak pa immune system nya. pwede din ba yung feeding bottle ng human babies? or kelangan pang pet talaga? sa food naman, plan ko yung dog food ni Chloe ang ibigay din sa kanya pero palambutin sa water or milk. Raw feeding na kase si Chloe kaya di na nya naubos dog food nya. I plan to introduce raw din kay Clyde (Yorkie) pero feeling ko masyado pa sya baby for that.

^ children's vitamins eh, forgot the name lang kasi. Its not tiki-tiki (which is a brand diba), pero yung generic nun, i guess. Small bottle nga lang eh. Dosage will depende on the pup's body weight.

Marunong na ba mag lap ng water or milk? Pag hindi pa, use a medicine dropper or syringe (w/o needle). In my experience kasi, di nila type yung mga rubber/silicone nipples. Siguro iba feeling nila. But there are nipples specifically made for pups/kittens... Btw, use only shallow dishes for your pup's water para no risk of drowning.

twelve5..ang nilalagay ko sa Canidae, warm water, lumolobo sya ng OA lalo na pag nakalimutan kong haluin haha!

saskia..ang problema kasi sa human bottles, aside from rubber/silicone yung nipples, malaki siya for a puppy, at malakas yung tagas kaya hirap silang uminom hehe. Tama you can use a dropper, or pag wala ka talaga makita, sa food bowl na lang, pwede na naman sya kumain eh.

About raw feeding naman, pwede na ang 1 month sa raw, as soon as mawean na sa milk pwede na magraw, wolves eat what their mothers eat kaya wala talagang pinipiling age. Supervision lang talaga ang kailangan. Balikan mo lang parati yung fb page ng raw feeders, marami silang chikahan dun para mawala rin ang agam-agam mo

My shihtzu gave birth to 3 puppies. I give her multivitamins with iron and calcium. Puppy food and fresh milk ang kinakain niya para sure na malakas and may milk siya for the puppies. So far ok lahat ng puppies niya.

abuanddiego- I guess di ko na lang sya bibilhan ng feeding bottle kase marunong naman na sya mag lap ng water. i'll try to feed him with raw ng pakonti-konti kasabay ng kay Chloe.
