who knows how i can set up a foot detox biz? I tried a foot detox treatment from health is in and I've been hooked...want to introduce this to other people.

Gusto ko rin makapagtayo ng nail spa. May areas na kasi akong nakikita na feasible, gusto ko muna franchise para hindi masyadong mabigat sa workload since may work din ako. kaso sa mga nakikita ko online, aabuting ng 1M. ang bigat. hehe.

Just an input, in any business naman especially mga service oriented businesses, mahirap talaga yung hiring and retaining of employees. Its a matter of being able to get the right ones for you. Patience and a little bit of luck na rin

^hi sis, bago tong account ko kaya hindi ako makapag pm. but matagal na ako dito sa gt. nagpost na rin ako sa thread na to na nag-open ako ng nail spa. suddenly, i have to close it kahit less than a year pa lang. nagka-problem ako sa employees and busy rin sa school kaya hindi ko maasikaso. but im planning to renovate my salon and turn it into nails and body spa na. recently kasi may nag open na spa sa amin and marami laging customers. i think maspatok sa place namin ang whole body spa kesa sa nails spa. from bulacan pala ako. gusto ko sana humingi ng tulong about sa spa consultant, where to hire employees and yung training nila, manager ng spa as weekends ko lang mabibisita yun dahil nga premed student pa ako in a trimestral school so hectic talaga ng sched. then syempre yung supplies, machines, and interior design ng spa. maliit lang ang space pero gusto ko as much as possible ma-maximize yun. yung body spa kasi na competitor ko maliit lang din space pero namanage nila na magkaron ng 5-seater foot spa room, massage rooms (6 yata), small sauna room and shower rooms. hope you could help me...

and i found this pala sa internet, yung MIJA VENTURES. spa consultant and supplier sila. everything you need nasa kanila na. but syempre i want to hear from my fellow entreps din

^hi sis, kaw ba mismo ang nail tech?

maliit lang ang puhunan dito. yung mg ginagamit na spa products mura lang naman depending on the quality. look for a good supplier and get it by gallons or liters.

usually ang mahirap dito is to get your nail technicians and to retain them. madalas kase they tend to steal your clients.

I think possible if yung owner ay hands on, pero kung hindi lugi and kawawa ka if nilayasan ka ng bakla mo or assistant mo then di mo rin kaya na ikaw mag gupit, mani/pedi and all.

mga sis help me naman sa salary.probinsya kasi sa amin,magkano b ang bayaran sa manila & kung my idea ba kayo how much sa probinsya?dito kasi sa amin paiba-iba ng rates.meron yung per commission & meron din yung salary plus commission.ako balak kung mabigay ng salary plus commission pra ganahan naman mga tauhan ko kung sakali.i need your advice my sis.thanks a lot!

^^yes sya bantay talaga sa pwesto nila, so namomonitor nya operation.

sis crizzyh, yung sa kakilala ko somewhere in taguig sya, 5k a month daw pasweldo nya plus 10% commission. 6 days a week ang pasok.

eto din ang dream business ko kaso need mo maging hands on at may alam ka maybe need ko muna mag take ng short course para at least may idea ka sa ganitong biz. diko lang alam kung saan at paano ako mag start. and siguro dapat may trusted kang employee na di ka iiwanan or traydurin. worried lang ako baka masyadong malaking capital ang need sa ganitong biz. oh well  hopefully in the next few years e makapag start ako ng ganitong biz super like

wow.. madami dami din na BR ko. after reading this thread.. gusto ko talaga magkabusiness ng ganito but i think based sa feedback, ang pinakachallenge ay yung mga staff, loyalty.

sis we've tried a lot of products and based on our experience, it's all about the technique talaga. kahit anong product pa ang gamitin. altho amongst the products we've used, ahglow ang pinaka-effective combined with proper technique.

btw mga sis medyo OT, am a salon owner myself and am thinking of putting up a beauty salon supplies biz, pero want to start muna sana online... you think this would work?

has anyone  tried MySpa in Starmall? I went to MySpa and it's really a great place for an all-around relaxation package. May nakakaalam ba kung ok sila for franchise?

para sa mga therapists, make sure na mga stay-in sila kasi minsan kumukuha sila ng mga clients ng spa during their rest day.. kaya ang mga therapists namin stay in, umuupa kami ng bahay (2rooms, 1 for them and 1 for us - yung magbabantay na kapatid at pinsan ko) then ang sweldo nila kapag hindi pa regular 3000/mo or 100/day plus  5 %commission & 100% tip.. so sa tip sila bumabawi kaya todo bigay ang pagmamasahe nila so ang customers magbibigay ng malaking tip (100-200 minsang may 1k nagbigay ng tip) at bumabalik naman.. so pabor sa kanila pabor din sa amin..

regarding naman sa bahay, libre yung pagtira nila pero ang kuryente at tubig hindi... sa kuryente pinapabayad namin sila ng 200/ea kada buwan then sa water naman 100 din... operating hours namin is 10am-10pm so ok lang yung singil namin sa kuryente at tubig..

kapag regular na sila, yung basic nila tumaas from 3k to 5k.. pero ganun pa rin ang commission at sa kanila din yung tip... and ginagawa namin sa mga regular, may yearly contract na sila... and pwede silang umutang (bibili ng bagong phone,emergency sa family) sa amin salary deduction ang payment.. and kapag regular na, may sss na sila automatic, 60% cover namin at 40% galing sa sweldo nila..

bago pa lang spa namin mag-1 1yr pa lang kami..

I'm looking into starting a home spa service business. Ive been wanting to do this since 2010 pero I have no idea how to start or where to begin. But recently kasi may clients kame (from our shop) who asks us to service them(body peeling / sugaring wax) sa bahay nila, we just charge extra for that. So naisip ko why not turn it into a business na din talaga.

Ano ba mga dapat gawin para makapag umpisa? TIA!
