 hello sisses! dream ko din magtayo ng salon.. and dami kong nakukuhang keypoints dito.. thank you sa lahat ng mga nagshare ng mga knowledge and experience nila.. anyway, aask ko lang din mga sis, saan po ba maganda magtraining? i mean may alam po ba kayong magandang training schools or seminars? TIA!!

yung sa akin kasi is franchise so provided na yung training nila. pero yung mga nakuha ko din na staffs are tesda graduates, pero iba kai yung procedure ng tesda compared sa amin like sa strokes sa massage and sa mani/ ped.. if you can find all around trainer siguro pwede din

Hi sis, yes 350k yung franchise then royalty fee is 6k per month. if you plan kasi sa mall siya mas maganda if franchise para mas mabigyan ka na agad ng lease offer. and as in wala na akong inalala sa supplies and training, contractor, design.. sa kanila na lahat.

we are planning to open up a nail salon with eyelash extension service and hair waxing, where can we find the best training seminar here in the Philippines??
I saw in the internet 2 schools, Tony Galvez and Ricky reyes institute for mani/pedi course and eyelash extension course. Is it any good? or hindi maganda turo?
I'd like to have the mani/pedi course, eyelash extension and hair wax course, please help, which school has the best seminar? Or if you know any other please let me know. tnx!

^^sis kung mani/pedi/nail art lang, di mo na kailangan magstudy pa sa schools na namention mo. opinion ko lang yun. cos we have a spa & we have good nail art designs etc and hindi naman namin pinag-aral dyan yung staff. My mom who manages our spa didn't study those too pero natuto sya & she trains all our staff now. Although yung sa hair services nag-aral talaga mom ko kaya natuturuan din nya staff namin.

hi mga sis, been a lurker na din but first time to post here..anyway nakapag backread na din ako and dami ko natutunan with this kind of biz, planning din kasi kami ng friend ko to have this, target namin is nail spa lang muna, scouting na din kami ng space to rent..ang question ko naman is regarding permits, registration, taxes, clearances..i heard dito sa phils eto daw ang pahirap sa pagtatayo ng mga business, how was your experiences with this, eto kasi nakikita naman naming prob kung paano kami mag aasikaso baka dito maubos and time and budget namin..how much ba usually inaabot ng mga govt papers and gaano katagal magprocess ng mga ganito?and ano ano ba mga need ayusin kung may step by step procedure siguro kayo na alam that would be much of a help..TIA!

Hi! Is it compulsory to enroll all salon staff sa Pag-Ibig, Philhealth and SSS by the owner?

My husband is fully supportive and told me I can open a spa - salon business. I'm scare cause I don't know if it is profitable... Ano mapapayo nyo for someone who wants to start in this biz?

Hi, sis zhanne8. I don't think it's compulsary to enroll your staffs to SSS / Pag-ibig. Lalo na ka kapag less than 10 lang naman yung staffs mo. You can also ask them if they want to be enrolled, kasi kadalasan eh sila pa ang may ayaw. Mas gusto nilang buo nila makuha yung salary nila. Just my opinion. 

Sis maen_she23, I suggest attend a crash course program about puting up/starting a salon business. If taga QC ka, I recommend nego-skwela. 5 days lang yun and cheap ang fee.
Next, find the right location. Yung marami ang taong naglalakad. Most likely sa mga malapit sa terminal ng public transpo, kung saan maraming sumasakay at bumababa pauwi or papasok sa work.    Then, sana makakuha ka ng inexpensive na space for rent, good luck. hehe!

Hi sis bootski! I have an existing salon in the Province. My staff which is composed of 2 hairdressers and 4 manicuristas has no Philhealth SSS yet but 3 of them I enrolled in Pag Ibig na. Sumulat kasi ng letter na need daw to enroll so I enrolled 2 lang who were interested. Now naman, Philhealth wrote a letter telling the salon has no Philhealth member yet. Kaya I'm asking if kailangan ba silang kunin talaga? If yes, I'll comply naman. My staff is ok with it din kasi 50-50 pag Philhealth kasi. So I will shoulder half of it monthly. Additional expence talaga. Nakakapanghina lang talaga if mahina ang kita ng salon. How can we be excused with these laws?

Also, where can I check the sched sa Nego Skwela sis?
