Parang kailan lang isa ako sa nakabantay sa thread na ito and I'm praying hard na makita ko na ang partner in life ko. Now I'm getting married na and he even exceeded my expectations. He's the best I ever had. To God be the glory

Thanks for posting this sis. Good to hear stories like this one. The journey takes a thousand obstacles. Takes courage and strength to keep the faith. Praying for all the sisses here. Let's all claim it sisses. Sabi nga one time sa isang mass na na-attendan ko. "Keep praying, no one can outdone God in His kindness."

All in His time sisses. Let's help one another keep the faith

we really have to pray for our better half, we even pray for mundane things how much more the person that we will spend the rest of our lives with diba.

when I was still in college, we used to go to st. jude and I would include in my prayers being blessed with a man who is right and perfect for me.  I can say that prayers really put everything in its place.  My prayers were answered, even the details (i.e.  I'll marry my best friend, I'll get married at 25, I'll be married to a kind and doting man) all of which were granted.  Thank God for that, we've been married for 7 years now and we've been together for 12 years (including bf/gf days)

Im happily married for 3 years, my husband was my first & only bf and we were together for 7 yrs prior to getting married. Although we have the norma fights & issues like any married couple, i feel that he's the blessing I prayed for.

I've been praying for a good partner/husband since i was 13y/o if im not mistaken. It wasnt something that i requested from Jesus and Mama Mary talaga. You see my parents had big issues with their marriage primarily because of my dad's womanizing, what could have been a happy family for us turned out opposite. They stayed together till my dad's passing but that experience made me scared of gettig married to the wrong person kaya sobrang yun talaga yung dinasal ko ng dinasal. Kahit simbang gabi, i remember na the simbang gabi i completed ang wish ko is for God to give me a good husband who is loyal & faithful, with principles, sabi ko kahit di gwapo basta presentable and simeone who can provide.

God gave me my husband who is all I prayed for. Kakatawa nga si God kasi pag naiisip ko parang sobrang sakto naman ng bigay nya sa hiningi ko, haha!

^ your so lucky sis ♥

I should have prayed for that too nung nagka muwang na ako sa mundo..knowing that my mom and dad had been separated since I was 6months old...masyado kasi ako shinelter from boys and the world..kaya di ko masyado naisip ano ba yung mahalaga at hindi sa isang tao..as soon as i fell in love..wala, nag dive talaga ako. so naive..down the road I married the wrong person for me.

now that I am a single mom..binubura ko na itong pag-asa sakin. if there is a right person for me..he will come and we will surely cross paths..but for now focus nalang ako sa kiddo ko and work..and down the road my annulment which is one huge bridge and storm I just really have to cross..may mga pangarap ako sa buhay and my being married will be a hindrance..especially if I will have another relationship..it will make things more complicated ...hay...pray for divine guidance talaga.. :'(

Keep it coming for all the inspiration, success stories that our fellow GT sisters shared that gives us hope. For those who are still single and waiting…

I am waiting forever na din hehe I am only 23 of course turning 24 and still NBSB I can feel that I am still not ready. As much as I want to be but God is really protecting me from Guys that I met. Most of them are happy with their girl friends now. As for me still single and has a lot of priorities. I am kind of pressure though because of my siblings. They got into marriage at the early stage of life like 20s. I break all the rules as NBSB name it haha I don’t have any experience at all. Well many guys lay their intentions but I just don’t look at the appearance and lifestyle. I always look into the heart. I am a Christian and I like a guy to find me in church and he loves God more than anyone else. I stop praying for the particular person anymore. I learned my lesson. I hold on to his promises that delight me to Him and he will give the desires of my heart.

I graduated and I have a job right now and my family loves me so much. I hear this always to Church that only God can complete and satisfy us. I feel that I’m not getting any younger and I don’t deserve this because I am waiting patiently. I am tired like some of our GT sister but what to do? Every time there’s a guy laying his intension I push him away. I am confused if I love him or not? I don’t know the answer sometimes because I don’t take risk to try. I talked to my friend of mine and she is a Christian also and she taught me something new that I never heard before. She has a very good relationship with Jesus and I know she is not a baby anymore to her faith and walk with God. She told me that she doesn’t like a guy also but she wants to experience being in relationship so that she could share to with others her experiences and she might be an inspiration because of their story. Amazing! Awesome and it is a revelation. I found myself thinking of the time I wasted. I even ask question maybe he got away but I don’t think so. I am thankful that God is really taking care of me because I am his princess and maybe the guy that he has for me is not asking my name yet. I am turning 24 and I am not over confident to say that I am still NBSB but I will never know until my time comes that God is leading me to the man I am waiting for.

I have a lot of things to discover. I myself don’t know what I am capable of doing if I get mad, or if I am in love. I want to be better for God. I want to walk with God and to be matured enough so that I will be ready.

My prayer since then is May God prepare me for his plans. Plans to prosper me and not to harm me, Plans also to be claim by the Man he wants me to be.

I am still thinking to make a notes of my requirements hahaha.. I just want his will for my life and I know when that time comes..It is best of the best!! Best Love story and best guy ever! :)

To everyone praying for a partner in life, don't lose hope. I myself came to the point of adopting a child so even if I don't have a lovelife, I will never be alone. But with continous prayers and novenas, I'm glad he came along. Now I am happily married with the man of my dreams.

^Thank you for the encouraging and inspiring message sis. It somehow gave me hope.

I am just in this point in my life wherein I feel very frustrated about this. Although I know I just have to keep the faith no matter how hopeless and discouraging it seems most of the time.

but if course you need to find a way din to meet your prince. Sabi nga nila hindi mo makikita si prince sa loob ng bahay kung baga you need to go out talaga. meet new friends. travel and have fun.  If you think na kulang ang circle of friends mo go and join sa mga orgs and groups. Syempre nasa Diyos ang awa nasa tao ang gawa

Even now that I'm married I continue to pray for my partner in life... I want the relationship to be continually blessed by God and that as husband and wife we are guided all the time from our own relationship to how we rear our children.

Yesterday, my husband and I were eating together with our son, over iced tea, fries and a sandwhich he told me that looking at me and our son, married and family life with us was exactly how he imagined it would be. We have a lot of difficulties, we are not rich but overall I am happy to share that I have a happy family life. My patience could stand to still improve but my husband was correct in saying that what we have now was how we imagined things would be.

Continue to pray sissies :) Life is much more peaceful and light with prayers and good thoughts. Gob Bless us all! :)

I'm also praying for God's best but rather than making kulit by asking God to send me or lead me to the right partner, I asked first and foremost to help me become the right (best) partner din.

May ganito palang thread. Haha. Ako din I prayed before, I asked God to give my heart to someone who'll take care of it. Ngayon I think di ko pa di namimeet si future hubby. Pero I know kasi that things happen at the right time. I remember merong nagsabi sa'kin, "Don't wait for the right one. He'll come when you're ready." Sabi nga ni fortunecat8, we have to be the right partner din. In the meantime, enjoy being single muna kasi aminin na natin madaming activities na di na magagawa or mabibigyan ng attention if committed na.

Regarding traits... Hmmm. Bo Sanchez suggested to have a list of traits that we want in a specific partner so merong standards na sinusundan, di yung magsesettle lang sa kung sinong dumating. Si Jaime Licauco naman on one of his books, if I remember correctly he also suggested visualizing the traits that you want in your soulmate.
