What Loyalty (some referred it as membership/ privilege/ prestige/ discount) Cards do you have?
[Loyalty cards that every homemaker/homeowner should have like  supermarkets, department store, hardware store, pharmacy, hospitals, book stores, etc]

Kindly share some interesting discounts, promos and freebies if you can. We can also discuss the pointing system, the mechanics, advantages and disadvantages, problems encountered.

pinaka nagagamit ko yung sa SM. pero mas gusto ko perks ng ayala a-card. although hindi siya points system, instant yung rewards. nakalimutan ko yung accor. favorite ko yun kasi 50% off sa spiral buffet. hehe

Pinakasulit for me are my Rustan's (for every 20,000 accumulated points, you get PhP600 rebate) and Shopwise cards (for every PhP1.00, 1 point).  I cannot count the number of times I was able to purchase stuff using my rebate from my FSP.  Every December naman, I convert my Shopwise points and get a rebate.  Last year, I got PhP3,500 rebate.

- can be used at rustan's supermarkets, shopwise, royal duty free
- P100 rebate for every P10,000 spent but can only redeem at rustan's

sm prestige advantage
- free use of the prestige lounge
- dedicated lane at supermarkets
- points and rebates (though medyo complex you system nila on earning points, not as straightforward as rustan's)
- priority lane at fitting rooms (pero megamall pa lang yata)
- concierge services
- free delivery from sm appliance store for x amount purchased
- 20% discount at tgi fridays
- discounts at stores, hotels, restaurants

powerbooks (yellow) power card
- 10% discount on cash, 5% on card purchases
- earns points

fully booked
- 10% discount on cash, 5% on card purchases

ayala a-card
- 6 parking passes
- time zone passes
- free use of customer's lounge
- discounts at stores and restaurants
- free movie tickets to special screenings

tony roma's
- 10% discount on 1st 5 visits, 15% on 6th-16th visit, 20% discount on 17th visit onwards (they stamp the number of visits at the back of the card)
- free entree on your birth month
- free dessert on special someone's birth month and anniversary month
- expires but the number of visits is carried forward to the next card

outback
- 15% discount

asian hospital privileges
- 20% discount on all lab fees
- also serves as patient ID

yes sis, you may include them alam ko some doctors give discount cards sa mga patient nila. my lolo have parkinsons and since matagal na din siya sa doctor niya, he was given a card (forgot ang name) para kahit paano may 30% discount siya. sa dami niyang gamot, kahit paano nakakamura

SM Prestige Advantage Card - Prestige lounge @ SM North Edsa. Now me & hubby can watch movie together as we can leave our 2 daughters at the lounge with their psp or ipod

^ how's the prestige lounge compares to rustan's lounge?

^haven't tried rustan's lounge yet as i don't have a rustan's card... overall, i would say the prestige lounge at sm north is nice. there's a free wi-fi, iced tea, lots of mags/newspapers & a massage chair.

^ Talaga sis? May prestige lounge sa north edsa? Kala ko sa SM Makati lang lol!! So, talaga palang seryoso sila sa lounge na yan ha. In fairness, I appreciate the prestige lounge especially kapag may kikitain ako or I just needed to rest. One time, my husband and kids needed to use the restroom. I took them to the lounge and ang anak ko, super enjoy!! Umorder pa ng capuccino.

Allowed lang yata ng up to 2 guests ang cardholder pero pinagbigyan naman nila ako when they saw the kids.

How do you get SM prestige card?

My cards are:

SM Advantage
A-Card
Laking National
Suki Card
Bench Lifestyle
Regalong Pambahay (I like this one, stuff at their outlet store are already discounted, may less 10% pa if you present your card)

^ that's right, you have to spend that amount in a year to upgrade your sm advantage to prestige. I was only able to do that when we had to shop for our business, otherwise, goodluck na lang lol!:)

kaya tip sa mga sis, if you want to get the prestige card, the fastest way is to accompany your friends, family, and relatives when they shop at sm and use your advantage card para ma-credit sa inyo yung points

^ Thanks I also researched while waiting for answers   Tama ba that your points should be at P1000 to get the prestige card?  If so I still have P300 points to go

Naku meaning I still have to spend P60,000 to get it..lol!

^ i get confused by how they compute the points. iba iba yata depending on how you pay (cash vs eps vs credit card).

parang mas madali yata i-keep track yung amount spent instead of points.

^I think it's 1 point for every P200 spent in dep stores. lol! Yun lang alam ko, I overheard the cashier telling this to one customer. 
Iba ang point system pag sa supermarket.  Sa Petron parang 1 for 200 din.

^ also, it's good to take advantage of their promos. Usually, they double/triple your points during promos. I remember they had this raffle for a car where they'd double/triple your points if you use your advantage/prestige card.

Tapos, if you're a BDO cardholder, they usually give extra points for that, minsan doble from a cash purchase. Pero syempre ang catch dito is that it's always a marketing ploy. They want you to use their products to buy their products haha Lalo na ngayon that people are holding on to their cash AND credit line:)
