maasar ako pag sinabihan akong mukha akong 50 tas age e 20 LOL pero kung 50 ka na sabihan ka na matanda ka na accept it e matanda ka na talaga

actually, nothing wrong being older than the people around you, just that some insensitive people does really rub it too much. I dont lie about my age. nakakabad trip lang yun di naman kami tinatanong feel na feel niya pagbibigay ng info. Yung uncalled for yung info.

siguro naman pag mukha ka ng 50 di mo na mahihide yun. 31 lang ako mga kasama ko mga 27-35. Pero kung makapag sabi feeling naman niya asa 40 na kateam niya.

i don't take offense kasi feeling ko na stuck na ang age ko sa 28. akalain nyo recently lang ako nag start mag concentrate ng husto sa mga may kabuluhang anime. anime as in. other than i could still enjoy the clean fun most young people have.

besides, alam ko naman na may pinagkatandaan ako with all the wisdom acquired through the years and fair enough maayos ang buhay ko...almost perfect, i could say. maligaya ako except for one thing. i was not able to super perfect my career. marami pa sana akong plans kaya lang at my age, malaking factor ang age for reconsideration sa industriya na ginalawan ko.

for the insensitive people or rather for the so-called inconsiderates as some of you say...na ngingiti na lang ako. kasi masaya na ako, at least naabot ko ang age na ito. sa klase ng lifestyle ng mga ibang 20s or 30s nowadays, i doubt kung umabot sila sa age ko ngayon. hahahah! i have a feeling you're all now thinking i am too old. not really.

i consider myself old and it doesn't matter pag sinasabihan akong matanda na.....because i had my major achievement na....happy na ako dun....

but malayo pa naman akong umupo sa tumba-tumba....

mas nakaka-offend pag bata ka pa at sabihan kang mukhang matanda....

not really.  Most of the time, I'm the one who reminds them that I'm already in my 30's   which is, by the way, the age of my math teacher who was single at that time and got snickers from her students that she was pretty old to be single.  Guess I turned out to be like her.  Not married, I mean, but basically taken

Normally people think I'm 2 years younger than my actual age, but I still get offended because I always hope that I would look younger than that.  Hay... I really am too beauty and age conscious

i only ever got offended when somebody referred to me as old or older once, and that was because of how the person said it. offensive talaga, and at the same time pa-inosente so you can't really bi*ch about it kasi baka hindi naman nya sadya to sound so rude.

So far naman, napagkakamalan pa naman tayong bata, lol!! A few months ago, yung isang college student akala niya senior lang ako. 

But seriously, I think people should realize age is a myth that certain sectors in the society had perpetuated to achieve their own ends. And most often, those who are hardest hit are the women because they're targeted by the consumer industry. Pampabata ng mukha, katawan, pang-alis ng fine lines etc. In a way, age can be used to condition us mentally, pero if one pauses, she'll realize na lahat naman tatanda so who the hell doesn't?

On the other hand, age can also be liberating in the sense that as we age, we gain new and better perspectives in life, we appreciate the more important things and discard the superficial ones, we are wiser but nonetheless more beautiful kasi we're more confident than when we were still young and committing a lot of mistakes.

as for others making comments on my age, it all really depends kung sino un mga nakapaligid sa 'yo diba..

my fam usually say ang tanda-tanda ko na. (im 27), but those are my younger brother and sisses (heller im tha eldest, natural matanda ako sa kanila)

w my girlfriends, pare-pareho kaming nagsasabihan ng "angtanda na natin ano", parang reminiscing ang dating, and we're saying it in a positive way, like.. "we're getting older, and we've gone so far.."

w other crowd, my partner's people, malalaki ang tanda ng mga un sa akin kaya lagi naman sinasabing "you're too young".. pero hanga naman sila dahil kaya kong makipagsabayan ng discussion sa kanila.. i might be younger than y'all but i aint stupid..
