i dont mean to offend anybody here,,curious lang po kasi talaga ako..

with me, mejo hurt kapag nasasabihan na matanda na ko though i'm not really that old (25y/o). i just graduated from college and siguro nasanay din ako na puro young ang kasama ko and talagang maraming nagugulat kapag nalaman nila that i'm much older than them coz mukha lang daw kami magkaka age. ;D but now that school is over... feeling ko bigla akong tumanda kaya if somebody jokingly quoted that i look old na.. 'm a bit hurt kasi feeling ko i'm still young (at heart.. hahaha!) ;)

Yes, i'll be offended. But i don't show it sa person. Jino-joke ko na lang. :-)

Nope not at all. Lahat naman tayo pareparehong tumatanda diba? We're all just born in different years. Its just up to us na lang how we take care of ourselves as we advance in age. If you've taken good care of yourself and you look great and are healthy then good for you...if not, then you'd better start.

I've always thought to make the most of whatever situation we're in so when we're young enjoy it and then accept the aging process and the stuff/tradeoff that comes along with it like
wisdom and maturing relationships and a bit less on the physical aspects of life.

Although honestly I dont know what its like to be 56 and be told that I'm old. Sadly we are in a youth-obsessed society so may predjudice against old people and it becomes a joke for the young...I myself am guilty of making cracks at my parents advancing age like minsan when my mom forgets something or is a bit slow I joke around a bit and she gets offended. Im trying to be a bit more sensitive on it now.

I'm relatively young at 25 but like I said earlier, dadating din naman ako dyan and for now Im enjoying my youth...stuff like enjoying my friendships (before everybody has a family and all), focusing on studying and building my career or simply just being able to wear a bikini while still being able to enjoy a cheeseburger and milkshake without worrying about a growing paunch or other things like my sodium or cholesterol level. Stuff that you can afford to do while young but not too much as to be reckless or do anything I'd regret later on. That and just try to be sensitive and caring to the elder members in our society.

Maooffend ako pag sinabihan ako ng matanda, kasi im only 22. :D haha.

in a way. pag rubbing it in my face na.

one time, our teamlead told the newer ones " eto yung mga dapat ginagalang niyo, si blah blah and yun!" pointing to me.Then I said " atleast di mukhang tanda cats!,may iba nga diyan mas bata pero, dating pang senior citizen na."

I mean, what the hell for should people have to tell those to? Is it neccessary?

nobody's called me old naman. im only 27.

before i used to get bothered at the thought because my bf is younger than me. pero ngayon, wala na yung ganun. okay lang, everyone gets older naman. i think i look okay naman so im pretty happy.

It depends on who said it and how it was said  :D. LOL, ang arte ko, no?

Generally I would find this somewhat offensive, pero if it were my close friends/family and me lang na nag-aasaran, baka di naman siguro ako affected masyado.

in my case if i get asked how old i am, ako pa nauunang magsabi na i'm old na 30 nako. tapos hindi sila naniniwala sasabihin nila owws niloloko mo naman kame stuff like that. walang mintis yun that's the reaction i always get. even back in college akala high school lang ako. now that i'm 30 akala early 20's lang.

i'm pure chinese but i'm often mistaken as japanese or korean. kung hindi ko pa sabihing chinese ako hindi pa nila malalaman. weird no.

nope, as long as there are people who look older than their age.
