hi i'm new to this site...but it really caught my attention & interest kasi i also had this "UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE" sa CATHY VALENCIA CLINIC, not to mention the branch, but i think this goes for allthe branches of cathy valencia skin clinic..coz one time i had to come early for my appointment for my FACIAL & GLUTATHIONE INJENCTION, they scheduled me at 10am.. so i went there 15mins ahead of my sched..ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THE FACIALIST & THE NURSE WHO WERE GOING TO PERFORM THE FACIAL & GLUTA INJECTION WERE THE ONES WHO CLEAN THE CLINIC ALSO...YUCKKKYYY!!! TALAGA....IMAGINE HAHAWAK NG FACE MO GALING SA PAGHAWAK NG MOP AT WALIS... AND MAGIINJECT NG GLUTA IS GALING SA PAGHAWAK NG BASAHAN..ANO BA YAN??? ANG MAHAL NG SERVICE NILA PERO WALA SILANG MGA JANITORS TO CLEAN THEIR FACILITIES? HINDI HYGIENIC.. WHAT IF DI PROPER ANG HANDWASHING SO ME TENDENCY NA MAGKA-INFECTION PA ANG MGA CLIENTS NILA..SANA MAISIP NG ME ARI NA NAKAKAFRUSTRATE NAMAN ANG GANITONG EKSENA..PAGING OTHER CLIENTS, GUSTO NYO BA NA GANITO ANG KAPALIT NG MAHAL NA BAYAD FOR THEIR TREATMENTS..HMMPP..

They have a promo again. 50% services, 30% meds discount. I finally gave in, para matapos na curiosity ko. Have an appointment with them (GH Branch) later for rosy white peel for the face. Pag di nag work, I'll try Belo naman.

I'll keep you guys posted and will have a honest to goodness review of their services

to those who bought fractional co2 deal from ensogo, fyi lang..cathy valencia has only one machine that they share between branches..also only one doctor who does this procedure..3 months for this promo may not accommodate everyone plus they also have their regular clients..you can just imagine how hard it is to get a sched that you want, in a clinic that you prefer..too late when i learned about this so it's very frustrating..i bought the deal for 3 sessions and now i'm not sure if i can avail of those 3

Same tayo sissy, hindi narin akO nakatiis and availed their rosy whitening peel. I started the treatment yesterday. When i woke up this morning super red ng face ko. I panicked a bit, but when i went there kanina, they said normal lang daw. I will update you guys after the whole process. Excited narin ako and im really keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully magwork

Re. the promo, i think dati pa meron since last month pa ata, but before, everytime i call them to inquire, lagi nila sinasabi wala daw promo. When i visited them last monday, receptionist gave me the regular price, i asked her if i'll pay in cash may discount ba. Dun niya lang inoffer sakin yung 30% discount sa meds and 50% sa peeling. So i suggest to those interested, just visit their branch nalang directly para you can ask them sa mga discounts

Sis! Ako rin yesterday nag-start!:) What time ka nagpunta? I was there 5pm. Went there kanina around 430pm... My face was red din when I woke up but yeah Tina said it's normal lang.

Nag-sting ba yung face mo when they applied the peeling meds na? Sakin kasi hindi, so I'm worried na baka wa epek? Hahah! Balitaan mo ko sis. Last day ko na tomorrow.

^saan branch ka sis? Makati ako. Around that time din ako nagpupunta hindi siya nagsting, though the asst asked me if nag sting ba. And i think im starting to see the peeling na. Very minimal lang, sabi rin sakin kanina baka by tom mag peel na nga face ko kasi super dry na. And makintab. Nakakahiya nga kanina kasi super red face ko and while im going to the parking lot lahat napapatingin.

^sis, what kind of peel ginawa sayo? lactic acid? or glycolic acid? tca? anong %? did they tell you?

And medyo kakaiba nga their peeling, kasi i tried glyco/tca na before sa face but hindi siya ganito kapula talaga. Ngayon super red talaga my face. Though hindi naman makati or mahapdi.

The problem nowadays is that some of the girls  are inefficiently trained.  May mga tamad, barabara treatments.  Beware, be careful. When in doubt, complain.

hi sis! bumalik when i stopped using the meds.. nung nakameds ako super rosy white kinis talaga, para talagang artista, lahat napapansin yun skin ko and that's without make up pa ha.. so expensive and hard to maintain coz iwas ka na sa araw.. ayaw
naman idisclose yun ingredients ng meds nila so i dunno din baka mamaya may rebound effect talaga... looking back, sana di nalang ako nagpapeel i wasted around 50k and mas pangit na texture ng skin ko now compared to the skin before the peeling..

well I guess nothing last forever.
grabeh naman pala kung totoo yun na mga employee at iabng connected sa CV ang nag po post dito at nag e encourage to try na sobrang over expensive service nila..tapos hindi kapa masyadong satisfy sa service /med nila..para namang big rip off syo..sana naman meron silang policy na kapag hindi na satisfy ang customer eh ibalik ang pera mo kahit half lang ng binayad mo..kakainis naman yang mga ganyan.

To be fair -- her products are good, the peeling service is good. Just look at Christine Reyes. Deny man nila ni Belo to death -- she goes there for her skin care. 

The problem with a good thing... Pag dumami clients, generally the service quality suffers.  Through time too, good  training should not be neglected. Your staff seek advancement/greener pastures & leave. So you gotta have just as well-trained replacements.   

After peeling, the skin is very vulnerable. You really got to protect & maintain it.  Dami meds sa C Valencia -- but so long as you follow the protocol -- your skin will glow.   All I can say is -  Commitment/Consistency is the hard part of any undertaking.   IMO, the peel there is the best in MManila.

Reklamo ko lang some  staff are not thorough - lalo na sa facials!

Unlike meds, cosmetic products like dermatologists' products are not legally required to have ingredients listed.

so sort of like an enzyme peel lang kasi organic. alam ko kasi if enzyme peel, very superficial lang talaga yung peeling. Tried quite a few din from spas.. mga yam & pumpkin peel, wine peel, hibiscus peel etc.. more on texture lang yung results. But CV has their own meds though, so maybe long term use of that is really the secret. I just hope walang hydroquinone. When will you start using their kit sis? ü

^^and really so curious talaga kung anong klase peel yan and why it's so expensive. imagine 400k for the body. Glycolic acid peels are considered fruit acid peels too and if they're just using that then the price is a huge rip off. maybe that's why they don't disclose the ingredients.. but anyhow, giving them the benefit of the doubt til I can get a consultation

Hi sis! Greenhills branch ako. Until now hindi pa rin ako nagp-peel, pero super red narin my face!

@fashionista84 naku sana nga walang hq sis nega pa naman reaction ng skin ko with hq mabilis mag dark. With my previous dermas kasi laging may hq Kaya usually i stop using their meds na after a week kasi ayaw ko effect. I'll observe my face din. So far redness lang nakikita ko. Yung meds nila i think after peeling pa gagamitin. Super dami nga. Mamaya pa nila bibigay sakin yung meds together with the instructions daw.

^yes yun din regimen ko now. Wala parin sting kahit i wash my face. Sabi sakin wag ko daw papatagalin yung soap sa face. No need na daw since triple whitening na siya.

sis aquacharly is right.. CONSISTENCY is the key.. kung di niyo kaya ng tuloy tuloy, i suggest don't start  na lang..
