thank you sa mga pinopost ninyong tips, after being turned down by 51Talk and Bibo Global, i got accepted sa Sankei Online. i'm not after the salary naman, so kahit 90/hr lang siya, tinanggap ko kasi sobrang na-feel ko na I am for teaching.

Kahapon dapat yung 2nd interview and teaching demo ko, kaso nag brownout, tinawagan ko agad yung niece ko para buksan yung yahoo mail ko at mag email sa Sankei na baka pwede iresched kasi biglaan yung brownout. nasend niya agad, nung nagkakuryente, nakita reply nila na magbigay daw ako ng available schedule ko. sinabi ko today.

1 had my 2nd interview kanina 1pm. then yung demo 2pm. nakakatuwa yung demo, para lang kaming magkaibigan, nagtatawanan pa kami nung kausap ko (alam ko pinoy siya haha)

i was waiting for an email sa yahoomail acct ko, walang dumadating. then i checked yung gmail account ko. pagkakita ko sa subject, napatalon na ako agad hahaha!

na eexcite ako, at the same time kinakabahan. pero masaya ako, at last hindi na ako bum hahaha!

Hi Ms. lovely32!! I'm just a newbie here and I read your previous comments about bizmates. I would like to ask, how is the hiring process in bizmates? Is there a demo lesson and do they provide the materials for the demo or you should prepare a material of your own?
Actually, I applied last Oct in Unhoop and they already send invite me for skype interview last Nov.11, its just that I think twice when I saw on the process the demo lesson because I don't have any idea how it will go. So until now, I still not adding their skype add because they said once I add them, that means I'm ready for the interview. I am ready the usual interview and exam it's the demo that bothers me,hehe.
 I look for some information about bizmates and unhoop that's why I landed on this website. The comments above really inspires me to apply in bizmates. Hope you could read this or anyone that is employed in bizmates. Thank you girls in advance!

Hello miss. How to apply for this position? Nahiya tuloy akong mag apply sa rarejob. Being downgraded like that just because you're not from UP. Anyway, CPA naman po and has a good command in English. Can you help me here because I need a part time job as my work in government is not enough. I don't want to resort to corruption as I don't want to feed my children dirty bread and I want to keep my dignity intact, as what Pope Francis has said.

Anyway, online part time job suits me well. Please help. Thanks:)

Hello, makikisali lang po ako sa usapan.  Nakakabigla naman ang rate dyan sa Bibo. As in P45 per 25 minutes?  So parang around P100 per hour at most.  And you need to teach 100 times n a 25 min just to get 4,500.  That rate is too low po.  Just to give you ideas, I taught ESL for 7+ years (though Face to Face) and the rate is at least P300.  Yung P100 na per-hour rate is for students, i.e. high school or college students who are willing to do conversational English with the foreign students.  The last time nagturo ako ng ESL, P500 per hour na.  So kung home-based, sagot nyo pa kuryente at bayad sa Internet.  P45 per 25 min is really an insult.  I've read this whole thread and just found out the rates in 51Talk, RareJob, Sankei, Hitutor.  Ang baba pala, kahit yung sa Bizmates na mukhang pinakamalaki ang offer.  I would suggest that you network na lang po and deal directly with Korean, Chinese and Japanese students.  Yung wala nang company in between, para mataas makuha nyong rate, and no need for tax.  I have a friend who does that.  Direct client lahat, so you can dictate your rate.  Will get back to this thread po kapag nakausap ko sya and I will also find other resources to help those who prefer home-based jobs.  By the way, home-based din po job ko, almost 5 years na ako, full time.  Thanks po.

I failed Bibo and Bizmates... Hay, nawawalan na ko ng pag-asa.. But both companies told me to reapply, especially Bizmates. They told me to reapply after 3 months when I finally get an experience from another ESL company... The Bizmates  trainer told me to apply at 51Talk but reading all those reviews for 51Talk, I'm not really getting anywhere near excited... Nawawalan na talaga ko ng pag-asa. Naiiyak ako. Huhu

Ano yung company na hind humihingi ng proof sa internet connection?
Ako kasi LTE Smart gamit ko kaya hindi siya wired. Pero More than 2 years ko na gamit 'to at hindi pa ako nawalan ng connection. Mabilis pa, more than 3mbps...
