hi! i'm planning to buy lenovo s10-2. first netbook ko sya. tanong ko lang, kailan ba mas-ok bumili ng netbook/laptop, during christmas season or after? kailan ba masmura? i posted this question in the 'best netbooks' thread, pinost ko na rin dito kasi parang mas-applicable. hehe.. thanks in advance!

Question, lahat ba ng laptops 6-cell battery lang? Kasi usually kulang sa akin ang 3 hours na battery life. I'm on the prowl for new laptops pero so far puro 6-cell nakikita ko.

^mga 3 weeks ago, i asked a PC store dito sa amin re asus 1000HE... P19,999 daw.. pero wala ng stocks kasi may mga bago ng models... more or less, ganito pa rin siguro ang presyo nito... sayang sis, i just sold 4 Asus 1000HA.. galing states...  nag-canvass ako kaya i know the price.. i got the 1000HE for myself.. P17k ko lang nabenta kasi wala naman warranty.. but usually kasi wala naman problems ang mga netbooks.. lcd lang kung minsan..

hi sis chaucer19! depende rin kung ano ang balak mo gawin sa oDesk. ako kasi data entry lang so netbook lang ang gamit ko. i'm using lenovo s10-2. you don't need high specs for data entry jobs. wala namang minimum requirement para sa oDesk app kaya ok na ok na yung laptop na bibilhin mo. at isa pa, meron namang available na oDesk app for Linux. i think ok na rin yung specs ng laptop mo kung kailangan mo namang mag-edit ng videos and photos.

anong magandang specs ng laptop/netbook for surfing the web, school papers and presentation, downloading at pag gawa ng movies? I have this friend na samsung pero i forgot the model tapos gumawa kami ng 10min.movie dun, then lagi sya naghahang at wala na magawa kundi pwersahin na tanggalin yung battery. I asked her why, she said netbook lang naman daw kasi yung kanya. I don't get it. So it means, yung pag gawa ng movie, medyo di kaya ng netbook? Anong magandang laptop na di naman kalakihan sa size at presyo na maganda naman ang performance at speed? Thanks!
