cocoysmom: the linux build usually packaged with laptops is GUI-based, meaning it has icons you can double-click to open. still, linux isn't as user-friendly as Windows or Mac.

mga sis, im confused, need help, fast!

mom's gonna buy me a laptop in a couple of days. and although im happy that she's looking to get me a macbook pro 2.26 or a 2.53, medyo conscious ako sa price and the difference between a macbook pro and a macbook.

parang aside from the aluminum finish, ano ba ang difference in mac na white and pro na 13inches?

my friend just bought a macbook at digital hub ng less than 60k w/ i-work na yun kasi cash basis.

im in bahrain now. and a macbook pro 2.26 costs more or less 72k and macbook pro 2.53, 84k. more or less pareho ng price sa pinagbilhan nya. pero kaso baka may discount jan sa manila. whereas dito, un na [textspeak!] installment price nya, so hindi mabigat. sayang din siguro [textspeak!] discount jan. but on the other hand, iba naman daw yung price jan pag credit card, mejo a few thousand more expensive. so i guess it evens things out. 

ang difference ba ng 2.26 and 2.53 malaki? im not a heavy user. pa facebook facebook, email, girltalk, konting surf.  siguro konting download.

ok na ba ko sa macbook or macbook pro 2.26 or macbook 2.53? and are the prices i quoted at par there? kasi uwi na rin ako in a month's time so i may actually tell my mom to just give me the money to buy.  (siya eh, excited ako bilhan, gusto yung shopping experience.hehe).
