I used to bring one book with me in my bag when i was working in Japan. Especially on weekends, I wander around alone and once tired, i would sit in cafes, read and sip coffee.

Not any more, mabigat na kc with all my anik-anik. Also now that I have 3 yrs old boy, sometimes pag wala yaya I'm lazy to bring his bag. I just put his stuff in mine (comp and toy).

Yes, 1 book only. Mabigat kasi s bag. During breaktime or vacant time, punta ko s tahimik n place and read book there.

i carry a pocketbook when i expect there will be a long line or long waiting period ex. DFA, PRC, Philhealth, etc. Preference ko pocketbook kasi magaan and takot ako to bring valuable things like ipad when im commuting.

Sometimes nagdadala pa rin akong "real" book especially if I know I will be in places where there might be suspicious characters and I wouldn't want to bring out my iphone. Pag safe naman mga pupuntahan ko for the day, I just read books on my iphone.

Yes I do. When I go to work or to Manila. Sayang kasi oras sa bus. And there are lots of books to be discovered. Mabuti naman di nasisira yung mata ko.

However, the downside of bringing books is that the covers are prone to damaged and that makes me sad. I have to literally carry the book by hand all the time if I want it to be sound and safe and neat and crisp.
