Should be ok with him if he has nothing to hide.  Although there are limits on reading his messages also.

I can but I'm too lazy to even check it. Pag may new message lang at wala siya. Or pag may call, I answer it sometimes. Same din siya sa akin. He can read my messages or answer my phone anytime.

ayaw nya talaga. and sometimes, I'd just ask, "sino yan?" then he'd reply. he'd rather tell me who texted but not let me read his messages first. he said he's not reading mine so I should do the same thing.

he said that he respects others' privacy a lot so expect people to the same thing to him.

I secretly do read his messages...For me, its really an invasion of privacy kahit sa ming mag-asawa but I do it still becoz his family usually borrows money or maraming mga favors na hinihingi na pa-sikreto and I need to be forwarned. I hate doing it n kasi sa totoo lang, wala kaming problemang 2, kainis lang minsan yung mga in-laws

yup, i check it from time to time pag nakikita kong napapadalas ang pagtetext niya lalo na pag late na may nagtetext pa rin. i dont tell him kase baka sabihin na ang praning ko hehe. so far wala pa naman akong nakikitang fishy na text messages..

Yup. He does the same. Minsan pa nga, he replies to the people who text me pag tulog ako eh. Magugulat nalang ako may bagong message sa Sent Items ko. LOL.

Pag may nagtetext sa kanya late at night, lagi kong sinasabi "Oi, sabihin mo bawal magtext sayo. Gabi na." O kaya, "Babae mo nanaman yan noh". But he knows na nagjojoke lang ako. So we just laugh about it. Tsaka it's mostly our ninong who texts him late at night.

Pag-uwi din namin sa house minsan pagkasundo nya sa 'kin, I go through his phone. Minsan, sasabihin ko, "May nagtext, papunta na daw". Sasabihin nya naman "Ah, oo. Chicks ko yun." Pero alam nya na ako yung nagtext na yun at di nya lang nabasa yung text ko.

That's an honest question ha. I'm really curious.

Because I am aware that some people (men and women alike) need to check their partner's phone or mail or whatever stuff, every now and then, but to do it on a regular basis like security measures? Doesn't he question the need for it? ... Like after he says "Permission to Speak Freely, Mam!!"?
