Hello. Nakakatuwa dahil may mga nagko cross stitch pa rin pala. Balak ko sana ulit magbalik loob sa hobby na to. I treated myself as a newbie since ilang taon na rin ang last na gnawa ko. I even created a group in fb baka sakali na may magjoin at pagusapan ang kahit ano about this hobby.

I wish I had more time so I could cross stitch again . For those who are working, when do you cross stitch? Also, for everyone, how many hours do you spend cross stitching?

Yan din ang problema ko. WAHM ako with 10 month old son yaya less. Pag ako pa naman nag stitch minsan pati pag ligo tinatamad ako lalo na pag nakikita ko na yung image ng ginagawa ko.

Hobby ko to before. Mga 4 siguro yung nakatago di ko pa na frame. Planning to do this again. Bigger naman this time.

ako sis every rest day ko which is as of now ay saturday-sunday. as of the time ang ginagawa ko is tinatapos ko na muna ang house chores ko then pag tapos na tsaka na ko magfocus sa stitching.

Friday after work, hanggang nakikita ko pa yung pattern go ako. Then on Saturday most of the time inaabot ako ng 3-4am, although hindi sya dire diretso, I  usually watch TV or movies while doing cross stitch so pag maganda pinapanood ko mabagal ako gumawa.

sa akin same pa rin naman ang labo ng mata ko. usually morning til may liwanag lang ako mag stitch since nakadepende ako sa liwanag ng araw. kapag medyo dumidilim na tumitigil ako.

Sis scruffs, aida cloth in Quiapo? Yes meron sila kumpleto sila ng cross stitch materials even patterns. I think nag frame din sila.

Hi sisses, anyone here from cavite? I'm a bereaved mom and my husband wants me to start on a hobby while i'm on leave. Pangiwas depression at binat na rin. Sabi ko i want to bake pero ayaw nya masyado raw ako maraming galaw pag ganun baka mabinat. So naisip ko baka ok narin magcross stitch at least nakaupo lang. San kaya near cavite area makakabili ng cross stitch patterns and threads? Nakakainspire kasi kayo nung nagbabasa ako. Parang naexcite rin ako kaya lang wala pa ko gamit para makapgstart. Hindi pa ako makapunta sa Quiapo to buy supplies. Huhu.... kaka-research ko ng mga suppliers, came across VC Trading in Farmers' Plaza Cubao. Crafter's Haven daw ito kumpleto hanggang cross-stitch supplies. Kaya lang mga 2015 blogs lang nakikita ko eh. ? Parang same price din daw sa Quiapo, or very little difference. Parang mas malaki kasi chance na dito ako makapunta kesa sa Quiapo (since first time yun, maghahanap pa ako) at least kapag sa Farmers' Plaza eh medyo familiar ako.

May nakapunta na ba dito recently para lang masure na bukas pa siya... Salamat mga sis!

Next project ko kasi ay Last Supper para sa dining area namin. First major project ito kaya dapat paghandaan. Pati hindi na puro full-stitch lang ang need, may half-stitch, quarter-stitch and backstitches na din. Hehe.

Sis Scruffs, VC trading din in Farmer's puntahan ko pag tinatamad ako to go to Quiapo. Cost of DMC thread is 15.75 each last time na bumili ako. They have complete set of Aida cloth. Actually mas gusto ko cloth nila dito, mas matigas compare sa cloth sa DMC store in Megamall so hindi sya madali malukot. Limited lang stocks nila ng patterns, for me mas marami pa din choices sa DMC Megamall. Good luck sis sana makabili ka na.

BTW, it's in 2nd fl sis. Pag dun ka pumasok sa tapat ng Chowking, diretso agad sya sa 2nd fl katabi lang sya ng escalator.

For patterns, have you guys checked out Etsy? I found a lot of cute patterns there, some were even free. A few of my favorite Etsy shops are tinymodernist, StitcheryStitch, and weelittlestitches.

^^ Yay! Thanks sis Dazzel21! Target ko at least next week makapunta to buy. How much kaya ang Aida cloth nila? Puwede na yung DMC thread, pero kasi nagpapaimport ako nun. Haha, hindi DMC pero mas mura lalo na kapag matagalan at maramihan. Kapag mga paisa-isa lang or pangrefill puwede na bumili.
