@htbyen: sis, what if si husband may previous work sa Qatar tapos di sya binigyan ng NOC nung company nya. Can I still sponsor him back to qatar and he still be able to find work there?

^sis,i don't know kung meron wife sponsor...ang nagawa ko lang sis is i family visit ang husband ko..kung ma family visit mo ang husband mo at makahanap sya ng work dito kelangan pa din ng NOC nya from previous company para ma transfer sya sa new sponsor..same thing na nangyari sa husband ko..kala ko nga NOC lang from me ang kelangan hindi pala dapat dun sa dating company nya..

thanks sis htbyen! at least nakahinga ako. wala pa kasing 7k QR ang sweldo nya so hindi nya ako masponsoran kahit ikasal ako bago siya umalis. at least pede ako mag visit visa then hanap work, makakasunod din pala ako in time.

Another thing sis, ano ano ba dapat ang dalhin pagpunta diyan? clothes, meds? kasi balak ko siya padalhan ng madaming vits and mga meds na meron saten.

^ welcome po!yes sis makakasunod ka din..katulad ng husband ko..bf ko pa lang sya before nung kuhaan nya ako ng visa (business) tapos nakahanap ako ng work..then nagpakasal kami..

regarding naman sa dapat dalhin..available naman ang gamot dito kung mga vitamins lang at paracetamol unless may specified na gamot kang tinetake..magdala ka ng mas maraming damit kasi medyo may kamahalan ang mga damit dito.

sis psyche18R, what do you mean by free zone? wherein allowed ang alcohol? As far as I know, walang ganitong area sa Doha. if you can clarify your question then we can give you more details

free zone.. somewhere you can work even without NOC from previous employer. sa dubai kasi may ganun... dunno if in Doha meron din

Sis, wala po sa Doha na ganyan. And we are all bound by our sponsor one way or another. I guess mas mahigpit dito compare to Dubai and Bahrain when it comes to work permits.

@ marssie: mother mo ba pupunta, sponsored by your husband? my mom went here last Dec., sponsored siya ng hubby ko, yung visa niya is for 1 month lang then extendable for 5 months. hindi naman niya kinailangan mag exit pa. she needed to undergo medical exam. i just don't know kung binago nila yung policy ngayun like what yummymom said. and yes, 3 months bago mo siya pwede pabalikin.

Help naman, kukuhanan na kasi ng visa ni hubby ang aking inay.. Ano requirements na kailangan?TIA

Sis, wala pong difference ang resident visa and work visa. Both are through employer sponsor and issued either with one or two years validity and can be renewed.

The only difference marrying can make, is to change one of the visas to husband sponsor. But last that I know, kailangan magbigay ng NOC yung company, plus the one sponsoring must meet certain requirements. I know female can do the sponsoring na, but I have not met anyone that has done this.

I'd really appreciate your inputs. I'm on the verge of signing a contract na po kasi.

this may be a dumb question to ask...pero yung mga flats na nag-accept ng couple (Filipinos only based on ads)... as in dapat married? I mean, do they look for proof?

sis, dito kasi nagrarandom check ng mga bahay,lalo na pag may nagsumbong. pag may nahuli sila na couple na magkasama sa isang kwarto, hihingan nila ng proof na married sila, pag wala naipakita, huli sila, tapos yung nagparent sa kanila may also be in trouble.

what if di naman magkasama sa isang kwarto pero sa isang house lang with other friends. kumbaga, mix of boys and girls sa isang flat, pwede ba yun?
