Surfing!

Went to Baler last summer. Its a really good place to learn the basics of surfing. In terms of transpo there are cheap options and convenient but pricey ones. Joybus has a straight trip (4-5 hrs) to baler in deluxe bus.
Surf lessons average 180-200 per hour with rent na ng surfboard.

Wow ang mura sa Baler! Galing ako San Juan La Union 2 weeks ago, Php400 per hour including the board rental.
Naka isang try lang ako f na f ko na pag surf haha, pero kapagod grabe.

I miss surfing

Surfed in Baler for the first time and addicting, then discovered a surf spot sa Real, Quezon na mas malapit sa amin

I'd like to do it more often for a certain goal, Wala lang akong mahatak minsan, anyone here who surfs in Real?

Mahirap ba? Feeling ko kasi ang bigat bigat ng katawan ko hahaha... ultimo skateboard natutumba pa ko

at first, pero mabilis lang matutunan, and mas okay matumba galing sa surfboard, tubig naman mababagsakan mo

just got back from real quezon..=) ok din waves dun.. but i would say the instructors at la union and bagasbas and baler are better.. siguro kasi medyo bata pa mga  surf instructors sa real.

Tried surfing once sa Baler, first time and nagenjoy naman ako. Kakapagod nga lang haha. Wala bang mas malapit sa surf spot aside from Baler?

Yeah! Nakakapagod at nakakahingal talaga sya specially pag nagpapadle ka mag-isa. Kailangan bonggang cardio exercise para di agad hingalin. hihi.

Sa Zambales sis, malapit lang, kaso yung waves eh hindi ko sure kelan may magandang alon.

Masarap sa Baler ngayong papalapit na summer.

Bro po ako. May maganda nga ata sa Zambales? Sa Crystal beach ata? Kaso mas mahal ata ang rent nila for the board ng instructor as compared sa baler?

iba pa rin alon sa Baler
di na kalakihan daw ang alon dun ngayon, maganda sa beginners at sa nagpa-practice.

yey going back to Baler after 1 month. whew i badly need vitamin sea!
wish i can surf during my stay this weekend. will be busy for wedding inquiries/preps...i hope i have extra time to surf. I.MUST!

i wanna go back to baler! kaso no waves daw this time of the year? i checked the wave condition sa website and mahina lang daw ang alon.. i wanna go sa la union kaso haven't been there pa..  hehe

just gone surfing last weekend and i love it! kaya ko na malalaking alon and muntik nako malunod. waaa i like the waves here better. i went to la union last july/august and hindi ko masyado gusto. iba pa rin sa baler! will go back here sa february again!

nagbaler kami last week at first time ko magsurf.  mababa na rin [textspeak!] alon ok for beginners like me

nalungkot ako kasi nahirapan kong magbalance lagi akong semplang hahaha.  Nakakatakot din kasi feeling mo lumalakad ka sa tubig hahaha

I guess this is as off-season as you can get, pero tanong ko lang mga sis kung may mga alam kayong diskarte para makamura ng surfing trip around this time. sa gear na rin sana, baka may alam kayong off season sale

^ hmm no idea sa gears, but when I checked mga rooms sa Baler, parang marami naman pang backpacker sytle - bunk beds ganon
