^ nung nagpunta ako Circle Hostel last Holy Thursday, grabe, ang daming tao! Hahahah. Pero enjoy naman kasi we get to meet new friends and meron pang Japanese na cute ^_^ hindi nga lang kami nakapag-surf, kasi walang waves nung umaga dun.

Pano magcommute papuntang Crystal Beach?

I was in La Union 2 weeks ago. Ang saya saya! Nakatayo na din, sa wakas. Haha. Nung first time ko kasi, nag aral ako magsurf sa may Taboc. Pero di ako nakatayo. Then this year, sa San Juan na ako nagpunta kasi nirecommend ng friend ko. Natututo din ako, sa wakas.  Medyo masakit nga lang sa katawan kaya di ako nakasurf everyday. Balik ako sa 2nd week of August. Magdadala na ako talaga ng painkillers at Salonpas

sana makatayo na din ako, last ko na surf sa bagasbas sa bicol hindi rin ako nakatayo di ko makita ang balance ko hahaha

@ sis fallen_@ngel: good luck! Sa San Juan Surf School ako nagstay and nagpaturo. Sabi nung instructor ko, guaranteed nya daw na makakatayo ako bago ako bumalik ng Manila. Buti naman nagkatotoo, haha. Seryoso, magaling sila magturo. Siguro request mo din yung board na may foam para di masyado madulas at makapagbalance ka ng maayos. Enjoy!

PS: Kakabalik ko lang galing Boracay...namiss ko  yung dagat na may alon kaya sabi ko, kailangan ko na mag La Union ulit

Visit Puraran Beach in Catanduanes! I'm from there and you'll love the place. I personally know the guy who teaches surfing lesson so let me know if you're interested. He can also hook you up with accommodation.

how do you go to catanduanes from manila? and where are the surf spots there? I wanna try sana somewhere new like catanduanes or bicol to go surfing

By plane:

Domestic airport MNL-VRC via Cebu Pacific (takes an hour)

By bus:

Cubao/Pasay terminal (don't know other terminals aside from these 2)
Manila- Virac / Manila - Tabaco (about 13 hrs bus ride)

Then from Tabaco pier you have to take a ferry. If you get there early, you can take the early ferry ride to Virac that leaves around 7am and be in Virac by noon, otherwise you will wait for the next one and leave around noon or 1. There are 2 ferries that travel to Virac, 1 goes straight to Virac port, the other to San Andres, Calolbon port. The Calolbon port gets there a little early than the other one but it will take an additional 30 min bus ride to Virac. If you choose Manila-Virac bus via Calolbon the same bus will take you to Virac terminal.

If you would like to go surfing in Puraran you will have to take bus or jeepney (not exactly sure) ride from the terminal going to Baras where Puraran is or you can hire a tricycle, takes about an hour to get there.

Seems like a lot of traveling if you go by bus that's why I like flying  It's more fun though if you're a group traveling by bus. Then you get to see Mayon Volcano on your way to Catanduanes while taking the ferry.

I went to Crystal Beach last friday. Super enjoy kahit ako lang magisa and you won't feel alone kase ang friendly ng mga instructors and even the owner. Babalik ako probably 1st week of september. Anyone wants to join?

Magkano budget sis? Nagpareserve ka pa? Try ko nga.

Last september pa ko nagpareserve ng room tapos this year ko lang nagamit haha. Bayad na yun, 1k yata yun. Since im from bataan, mas mura pamasahe ko. Yung food around 200 siguro lunch and dinner na yun. Tapos may breakfast buffet na kasama. Kapag tent, 350 lang yung rent.
