hi mga sis! question lang. nag sign up ako for paypal..pero wala naman akong credit card at ayoko na sana mag apply ng EON.

ang meron lang ako is passbook sa BDO. pwede ba yun ilink sa paypal account? thanks!

^ bago mo sya malink sis, need mo muna iverify yung paypal account mo.

you can verify it via credit cards and eon account. pero kung wala ka talaga sis, try mo yung virtual credit card. meron sa sulit.ph, nag-ooffer niyan.

credit cards can be used for PayPal accounts. the only time you'll be needing an eon card is if wala kang credit card.

if your bpi credit is Visa or mastercard pwede siya sis. pero kung yung express credit hinde pwede. ka officemate ko kasi dati sa call center ng paypal eh nagtanung ako sa kanya.

I need to backread. I really want to maximize the use of my PayPal.  Wanted to offer it as payment option for my online store but I still need to learn the how-to's.

^^, ^^^ thanks so much sisses for the info ... now i kinda get na why a need for an eon card is evident -- besides the fact that it is for those who do not have credit cards, it is also for those who inspite of having a credit card, does NOT want to use his/her credit card to pay but opts to pay in cash -- kasi pwede mo pala ma-loadan ng cash ang eon card mo. 

it's good we have a lot of options now ... thanks again.

how can i contact paypal. received this email from adgitize:

"We made payment to you on Feb 16, 2010

We received the following message from PayPal. (Denied)

'The recipient chose not to accept the payment.' "

sis, alam mo i found out after calling the unionbank EON account customer service na our EON account pala can only be used to RECEIVE payments/money from PayPal, such as payments for our odesk work, etc or if someone wants to send us money (paypal to paypal) like "money padalas" of overseas relatives.

It was clearly explained to me that we cannot use it pala for ONLINE SHOPPING because we cannot transfer money/funds from our EON ACCOUNT to our PayPal account.

In short, our EON Account can only RECEIVE pala money from PayPal but our EON Account cannot provide/move funds to our PayPal account, thus, we cannot use it for online shopping. Kakaasar noh!

I thought I could use it na to shop online. Nilagyan ko na ng funds yung EON account ko and then when i checked my PayPal account to where my EON account is linked to, hindi nagrefresh or nadagdagan yung funds ko sa PayPal account. That's when I called the customer service and found out na pang-receive ng funds lang pala ang arrangement ng PayPal with EON account.

You can use it to pay online directly though, like a debit card. No need to fund your Paypal account when buying. I use it to buy stuff from Amazon's website.

sis... nung magdagdag ka ba ng funds sa eon account, initransfer mo sya sa paypal account mo from your eon account? kase hindi naman sya automatic na pag nagdeposit ka sa eon account mo ay mag aappear sya agad sa paypal account mo.

then, pwede rin naman na pag mag pay ka using your paypal account and gusto mo sa eon macharge, ilagay mo lang na sa eon card mo ang "funding source" ayan, kahit hindi mo itransfer sa paypal ang money mo from eon, directly dun nila ibabawas ang charge sa eon card mo.

Grabe, nagulat naman ako dun sa email notification na nareceive ko from paypal:

"As part of our security measures, we regularly screen activity in the PayPal system. During a recent screening, we noticed an issue regarding your account.

We have reason to believe that your account was accessed by a third party. Because protecting the security of your account is our primary concern, we have limited access to sensitive PayPal account features. We understand that this may be an inconvenience but please understand that this temporary limitation is for your protection..."

Hmm, is this because my paypal account has been unverified for several months? I hope no one is hacking my paypal account. Sobrang konting dollars lang ang laman nun. Anyhow, my EON card will be activated in a couple of days. Will verify my paypal account soon.
