^^Building Blocks is ok. Teacher Ryan (the owner) I think is one of the best OTs in the South

any recommended theraphy center near araneta avenue in quezon city and whats the name of ot teacher you can refer? i recently having my son at alres nakaka 6 months na kami pero parang wala pa din ako masyado makitang improvement sa anak ko  
plan ko magchange ng ot pano ko kaya sasabihin in a nice way? naisip ko kunwari tell ko kasi sabi ng devped try namin boy na ot teacher kaya ?.....sa theraphist mo ba una sinasabi or sa center mismo?

Hi @rhumbafrapp! How is Rehab Partners' OT services?? Doon pa lang kasi ako nakakuha ng slot while we are waiting for Therabilities to call us, aside from it is very convenient for us because we are from greenhills area.

How about Power Play in P.Guevarra?? Any feedbacks??

^ Rehab Partners is one of the established therapy centers in San Juan the OTs there are from UST. madaming toys and wide play/study areas   for me it is a good center

Power play generally Bago lang Siya but from what I know ma- sensory siya

How about Speech Ladder, also in greenhills?? There is also an available slot there that's convenient for us.

How do you know that your child needs Sensory integration?? Our devped only referred us for OT because my son is speech delayed and has short attention span and also needs to improve some of his fine motor skills.

depending on the age of the child, the OT can conduct a screening to see if the child needs to have a further evaluation for his SI
example lang ha, not comprehensive, na may possible prob area for SI intervention- fidgety, ma touchy touchy, needs deep pressure or madalas dapat too much or too little para masatisfy yun need not for vestib input, etc

sis darods jan nga din ako confuse eh yun ABA theraphy? kasi sa theraphy center ng anak ko may iba nag ot and speech tapos may ABA pa. pero yun devped ng anak ko hndi naman sya pinapa ABA? ..my question is totoo ba na usually na pinaparequire na ng ABA is yun nadiagnose na ASD na or under spectrum?.....usually kasi na nakakausap kona na sa center na nag ABA ang anak eh diagnose na yun anak nila na under sa spectrum eh     ..and hndi ba conflicting ang principles ng ABA sa ot and speech theraphy?...................

My son does ABA 4x a week (3x center based and 1 day homebased) and OT naman 2x a week tapos may toddler school sya ng once a week.

Best combo daw kasi ang OT and ABA. I believe in ABA talaga kasi sobrang ganda ng progress ng son ko. Nung nag OT sya, mas naging okay. Although ABA pa rin talaga. Fillers lang kasi ang OT nya. Yung teacher ng son ko sa ABA told me na sobrang nakakatulong din daw ang OT. So ayun, continue ko lang. OT is more on making sure that the task is finished. ABA on the other hand, targets yung behavior ng bata and sa speech din. My son goes to PCDP in Pasig for his ABA and then GOALS for his OT.

Gusto ko nga sana alisin yung isang sched ng son ko for his OT. So parang once a week na lang. Kaya lang naisip ko, 600 lang naman per session, I kept it na lang. Mas okay din naman kasi.

my son has 2x a wk ABA, 2x a wk OT and 1x a wk Speech. Malaki nga rin improvement ng son ko sa ABA kahit na 2 months pa lang siya nag ABA, while 8 months na siya nag o-OT. sumusunod na siya sa mga commands (mostly sa mga "no, don't do that"...) may improvement na siya sa mga paggawa ng sounds like "a, o, e, m". nonverbal pa kasi ang son ko.  mas mabili talaga ang improvements kapag may ABA din. mejo mas gagastos nga lang

First time to comment here  , i was googling some therapy centers/forums in ph then i ended up here.

By the way, i have a daughter 21 months now and she is such a sweetheart, Her first year seems ok, but we started to worry when one night, she was running in circle for a long time in a blank face, as if running aimlessly, no respond to name calling, low affection, late sa language. She was then sooooo different and last DEC she was labelled by her Dev Pedia Dr. Navarro of Med City, as GDD with ASD Traits.



We are in hunt for the BEST Therapy center sa pasig area.


Anyone here who tried the following therapy Center

-Kids Heaven-C Raymundo.
-CLI, silver City
-Med Mom, fun ranch - eto talaga gusto ko kasi sa tatlo cya ang pinaka maganda ang facility, also puwede cya ma pasyal pasyal sa fun ranch after ng session nya, para may ni lo look forward cya everytime we go for her OT. 

HELP HELP HELP us decide.


I have seen the likes of therabilities, and they have the best facility, but [textspeak!] baby ko sobrang takot sa elevator, also parang sobrang trafic sa area na un, [textspeak!] papunta pa lang traffic na.. coming from pasig din ako, sa may greenwoods. enlighten me here also.. kasi feeling ko lang yan.

sis towberryblue may i ask why wala ka speech theraphy?....if u dont mind me asking ano diagnose sa anak mo?...recommended ba sa anak mo ng devped yun ABA or ikaw lang nagdecide for additional ABA?....thanks so much
