nakaconfine na sya ngayon and under observation. yan din naiisip namin. nagtaka lang kami kasi nangyari lang naman yan kasi since nag-start sya taking meds for his thyroid, tapos nagka-allergy sya all over the body for 2 weeks tapos ngayon nag-yellow na daw sya. :(

@em_cee: yes. sabi ko nga for now, wala kaming choice but to trust the doctors in korea. kasi compared samin na wala namang alam sa medicine, mas alam nila ginagawa nila. ginawang 2x a day un gamot nya for thyroid kasi baka liver damage yun nangyari sa kanya. :(

I got my results na.

Within reference range TSH ko pero slightly high (3.96, ref. range is 0.27 ~ 4.20)
Anti-TPO is very high (992.3, ref. range is >100)

I researched some natural cures for autoimmunity, and I found Dr Hyman's website. Lagi niyang nirerecommend to cut back or stop eating gluten, dairy and sugar, to take supplements and probiotics and to exercise regularly.

^one way din sis to determine what's causing the thyroid problem. pag mataas yung anti-TPO, it means your antibodies are attacking your thyroid gland. pag ganito, autoimmune yung condition. I have thyroiditis and often, autoimmune talaga yun.

Hello guys good day.. I have the same problem in my thyroid got the findings on fine needle aspiration biopsy and the final diagnosis says; RIGHT THYROID NODULE FNAD: CYTOMORPHOLOGIC FINDINGS CONSISTENT WITH PAPILLARY CARCINOMA. The doctor scheduled me for operation this coming May 4, 2013. I was a bit shocked with the findings since I never experienced pain with my goiter nor hard to swallow every time I eat or drink. My ENT doctor said I'm on my stage 1 (cancerous stage), thus it has to be removed the sooner time. I planned for another check-up just to get a second opinion, but since the procedure was already a biopsy so then I believed the findings was accurate. Does anyone here have the same situation to mine, what are your other remedies if there is? With my surprised I wasn't able to ask my doctor if I could take oral medicines as option before I could resort to operation.

Thank you..

hi sis, usually pag hypo mabilis mapagod at mag palpitate...base from experience yun sis , hypo kasi ako. But yung sa hyper ang alam ko may mga physical effect, like sobrang pumapayat yung iba or nagiging bulgy yung eyes..

Hi sis, papillary thyroid carcinoma is highly curable. Just like any cancer, surgery is still the best option. Afterwards, you will be mainatained on certain  medication such as levothyroxine to suppress any tumor growth.

@ maye2k

my first fnab was papillary carcinoma. my first doctor was a general practitioner. she wanted to have it remove. i decline. then i went to an endocrinologist. had my 2nd fnab there and the result was benign thyroid nodule. i took medication for 6 months only. will probably visit my endo one of these days.

hi po na diagnosed ako na may hyperthyroidism base on may ultrasound recently because I have a cyst on my left thyroid..pero nagpalaboratory na ako medyo mataas ang T3 ko pero ang T4 at TSH ay normal naman pero pinapaulit ulit sa akin ang laboratory result for most valid kasi dito lang ako nagpalaboratory sa clinic na malapit sa amin. wala pa ako tinitake na kahit anong medicine..hope maging negative ang result ko kapag nagpatest ulit ako...

I have protruding or bulging eyes due to Graves/Toxic goiter. Do you know any herbal or natural medicine for that? i am taking tapazole for a long time now and I underwent RAI but my eyes became bigger.

nodular goiter di naman kailangang operahan agad as long as di nagbother sayo. mas mahirap kaya na kulang ng organ katawan natin.
