I bought my cousin's internet shop in our area. Bought it for 90k. 6 computers na yun kasama na mga tables and the counter, server, all fully installed. Turnover will be this November 4. Sa ngayon nirerent yung place. But we'll be moving the place sa harap ng bahay namin siguro mga Feb. Magpapagawa pa kami ng building for the shop. I guess sulit na yung price kasi nakaset up na lahat. Pati mga regulars  akin na. Malayo naman ang ibang competition. But I'm very excited to finally own my own business.

Btw, yung technician guy ng pinsan ko, sya nag iinstall ng lahat ng games. P100 per game. Ganun ba talaga? Can't I install them myself? Or mahirap pagaralan? Sabi pa nga daw wag ipagalaw sa iba yung mga pc's. Sa kanya lang. Pag pinagalaw ko sa iba, di nya gagawin.

Sis dezz, ano ang mga ibang services na inooffer mo? I already have an inkject printer na naka CISS na. I'll be buying a 3 in 1 laser printer/copier/scanner. Brothers yung brand. Sa sulit the seller has it for P15000. Could you recommend a reliable photo copier or 3 in 1 printer? Wala kasi akong scanner at copier machine.

^ sis madali lang mag install. yung ibang games mado-download mo nga lang yung mga installers online eh. hindi kelangan ng technical knowledge dun.

our printer is 3-in-1 too. Brother yung tatak and it only costs P4,000, CISS na yun. may free inks pa and 1 rim of bond paper.

ganun. technician yun ng pinsan ko. so ibig sabihin pineperahan lang yung pinsan ko. i knew something was fishy. ang sabi sa pinsan ko, naka "lock" daw yung mga ininstall na games. Kasi kung hindi, pag pinatay ang pc, hindi mo malalaro yung games. labo di ba? lol.

pero sis, hubby ko nagmamanage ng shop namin, walang technical background un sa mga PC pero dahil lang sa kaadikan sa games kaya kami nakapag tayo ng shop ng walang hire na technician. sa game installation usually CD lang yan tapos download mo yung mga patch kung kelangan.

Sabi din ng hubby ko sis medyo mahal nga pagkakabili mo kasi brand new 16- 15k nalang ngayon. And about sa technician, di totoo yun sinasabi niyan unless nilagyan niya ng deep freeze yung mga pc niyo.

 ;Dhi sisses meron din kaming computer shop, yun kasi ang expertise ng hubby ko before sya ng ofw after 2 years nag decide na lang kami mag open ng shop kaya ayun wala kaming problem sa maintenance at pati na rin sa cabling and installation ng units, pati yung coin timer namin sya din ang gumawa and lastly pati yung shop namin sya rin ang nag karpintero hehe "jack of all trade kasi si hubby" yung iba nga namin kakumpetensya sa computer shop sa kanya na rin nagpagawa ng coin  slots lol

madali lang maginstall ng games, kung online yan punta ka lang ng site nila then download full client.. kung lan games naman may crack code naman.

mukhang niloloko lang kami ng tecnician. kaya ko siguro yun. lol. mga 19k ang bili nila sa bawat pc. last year lang yun. medyo bago pa mga computers. di na ko nakipag negotiate kasi maraming ibang interesado sa shop.  kaya binili ko na. if i didn't buy it, mapupunta sa iba. so inisip ko ok na rin.

^ mas kikita kayo sis kung ikaw or yung bantay nyo mismo yung magmaintain ng shop kesa sa maghire kayo ng technician. medyo malaki din kasi magagastos nyo per PC jan lalo na kung ganyang may doubt ka na niloloko kayo.

invest on servers at license nga lang..pero sa diskless license di naman gaaano ka mahal like 320gb hdd at 500gb hdd prices...

may mga mabibigay ba kayong tips kung paano nyo na compute? or meron ba dito na fully legit yung business operation na kayang mag charge ng 10-15/hr?

hi mga sisses, ask ko lang sa added services na photo printing, ano kaya ang magandang brand ng printer? Yung mura lang ang consumables ( catridge / ink), at maganda ang quality. baka matulungan nyo ako. Kasi para pandagdag na rin sa kita.

Mga sis, sa mga naghire ng magbabantay sa internet cafe nyo, how much sweldo nila? How many working days a week?

Also, what are your printing rates? (yung mga naka CISS na inkjet printers)

Kelangan ko kasi ng basis. Sa province ang internet cafe namin. Yung magbabantay 3 houses away lang ang bahay nya from the icafe. Ok na ba ang 3k a month, 6 working days a week? On weekdays 2pm-10pm lang bukas kc super konti pumupunta sa umaga. After lunch lang talaga nagdadatingan. Pag weekends, 9am to 10pm bukas.

The key is you need to be in a place where people are willing to pay at least P25/hr.

You can charge more than that if you want to, as long as you're in the right place.

If you can't find profit from your math right now, either drop the idea of that business, or find a better place.

Doing your math is a great thing to do before investing to anything.

Mahirap napo makakuha ng area na mag charge ng P25. dati may internet shop kami kaso nagsara dahil sa competition. We are charging our customers P15.00 per hour. kaso biglang may nagtayo ng shop sa unahan lang namin na P10.00 lang per hour tapos nag propromo pa pag gabi. tsk!
