PAINT or WALLPAPER?

Saan po maganda bumili ng mga wallpapers? May nakita ko sa Wilcon and Home Depot pero simple lang mga design baka meron po kayong alam na bilihan talaga pa-share naman po. Thanks

Since we went with a hotel ambiance for our townhouse, hubby used wallpaper for both the masters and the baby's room.

mommy jenny, sa 168 ako nakabili per yard ang price nila merong 80 per yard. pero sabi nila meron din daw sa soler sa binondo.

I tried using the wallpaper at my new spa and I really love it. Ginamit ko lang sa accent wall kasi medyo pricey at inorder pa sa Korea. I will try it also sa bahay namin sa mga accent walls.

Ngayon love ko na both ang paints and wallpapers.

Planning to redesign my room by the end of the month. Gusto ko sana may isang accent wall with wallpaper. May nakapagtry na ba sa inyo magDIY wallpaper installation? I watched youtube videos about how to install wallpaper and it seems easy. I'm just worried na it looks doable lang pero mahirap talaga gawin on my own.

I'll also be repainting the other walls of my room including my bathroom, I can DIY repainting naman I think kasi I have tools and I have experience naman with gawad kalinga bayani challenge haha

It's not popular to DIY here in the Philippines, you are better off with a skilled person for this

^i agree with sis nicoletta. Its better to have an installer do the work. Try to look sa yellow pages for wallpaper suppliers. Maganda yung Best na brand kasi vinyl at talagang durable. You can check out Shell Canvass stores also or Sharp Canvass. Meron din yata sa Larry's Curtains.

i just like  wallpapers over paint. not messy to install and you'll the result instantly!

Thank you girls. I might DIY because mabigat sa dibdib ko ang quote ng interior designer, no choice but to bring out the skilled person in me. hahaha.

I saw some self - adhesive wallpapers online and saw sample photos from DIY-ers din. Mukhang maayos naman. hehe. Keeping my fingers crossed

I bought mine at Korean Home Depot, ang store nila katabi lang ng Ortigas Home Depot. Ang dami nilang choices at ang gaganda.

Usually meron pwede i-refer na installers ang mga stores na nagbebenta ng wallpaper. Wallpaper can last for 10 years or more depending on the type of wallpaper
and how your wall is prepped before installation. Its best to use vinyl type para durable and washable from the outside. Madali masira yung parang papel na manipis lang. Iba talaga effect ng wallpaper lalo na kapag maganda ang pagkakabit.

Wallpaper for me. Pwede mong palitan ang aura ng room in just minutes. Compare sa paint na ang daming coating pa and maamoy. Since I live in a condo din, hirap magpaint kasi grabe yung amoy! Plus I find it na matrabaho

I prefer paint lang kasi I like it minimalistic. Parang naguguluhan ako pag wallpaper no matter how simple the design is. Tapos last time I used wallpaper, nginatngat and binakbak ng dog ko yung isang side kaya sira na.

When I recently painted my room, I chose white for the walls and just used black frames and furniture for accent and grey for the built-in cabinet and door and again, black for the edges. Planning to buy wall decals (still black) as well to keep the other wall from looking plain white as it's kinda boring though maliwanag sa room.

in our home theatre room, wallpaper ang nilagay namin... we picked black and silver damask print and this talaga catches all our guests' eyes. Hubby and I did it ourselves and to be honest, it's quite easy. We youtubed it lang we spent $150-$200 lang for the wallpaper. I think it's due for a replacement soon... ibang print naman.

exactly like that pero we didn't extend it sa ceiling... GRABE ang hirap nito! We had to redo it many, many times kasi ayoko ng may lumalagpas kahit konti. I'm a perfectionist pa.

pareho tayo sis, yung entertainment room din namin wall paper black anD white na damask. Pero one side lang, the rest of the walls are textured painted.
Sa bedroom naman white na may pattern na wallpaper sa headboard side of the bed and the rest paint lang din in color greige
