me and my sisters love to buy sa UK dito sa pasig.. ang trip ng 1 sister ko is blouses and shorts (miss sixty, a&F, roxy, gap etc).. and yung bunso namin, from bags, shoes and dresses too. ako basta nagustuhan ko yung style, go ako pero kuripot ako kaya pag lumagpas na ng 150 ayoko na..  yung bunso namin nakakabili yun ng LV bags na orig talaga for 2k yata, she even brought it sa greenbelt branch ng LV ba yun to have the inner lining repaired..

hi. because of this thread i decided to try my first ever ukay ukay experience. last thursday on my way home may nakita ako ukay ukay store along roosevelt lang siya. i think siya lang dun mag isa and malaki naman siya ang maayos. i got to buy 3 jackets and 1 skirt for 800. i think mahal nga ang bili ko eh. yung isa jacket i really like tapos ang price niya sa tag 65 pesos. as wow talaga i did not let it go dala dala ko siya kahit saan but when i was paying na sabi ni ate di daw yun pwede 65 mali daw tag sabi ko ay bakit ganun eh dun nakalagay sa mga 65 pesos. sabi ko how much 240 daw but i still bought it wrong move ata. all in all i got 3 jackets at 240 each (mahal ata talaga, now ko lang realize while im typing haay) and then 1 skirt at 145 so total is 865 sabi ko wala ba tawad? 860 na lang daw sabi nyeeh 5 pesos so ginawa niya 800 na lang. i think i failed in my first ever ukay experience kasi ang mahal ata ng mga bili ko but i enjoyed it. now ang goal ko dapat next time in that amount of money mga 10 items na mauwi k. possible ba yun?

^ sis di ba if you're in EDSA going south bound you need to make a right turn sa roosevelt tapos straight ka lang (way papunta quezon ave) sa right side lang siya. near siya sa palengke and yung unang bdo na makikita mo on your left side (di ko alam what branch sis ng bdo eh). from munoz market pwede nga siya lakarin eh. wala siya name ata sis but mapapansin mo siya kasi malaki yung store nila na glass tapos may mga damit na naka display. may parking din sila and most of the time madami napila na tricycle dun mismo sa harap ng store.

update: ang name nung UK store sa roosevelt is Daryl's. mejo malayo pala siya if lalakarin but pwede pa din naman. i also saw 1 UK sa may beundia. anme niya is joy or joyce PX goods. today new arrivals for sale yun nakalagay when i passed by it kahapon eh. look okay naman ang selection nila and its airconditioned.

^sis di ko natiis i went sa buendia kahapon. nice yung store. no smell of ukay ukay and maayos nman yung selections and its air-con as mentioned. ang name nung store julies px goods. here's the direction: start na lang tayo sa lrt gil puyat (buendia) station coming from monumento. di ba there are 2 exits dun ka baba sa may left side yung exit near sa female area ng lrt and then pag nasa baba ka na ng lrt walk kaw papunta sa roxas blvd. may madadaan ka na bus station and then after ng bus station may corner walk straight ka pa din sis makikita mo na yung store nila puro glass tapos ang nakadispaly as if this time wedding gown ata yun. you wont miss it sis malapit lang siya. i got 4 items kahapon 800 ulit. maganda selections nila may g200, levi's (di ko alam if orig and then promod) 2 cardigans / blazers tapos 1 dress and then 1 long sleeves na polo. all in all 800 na lang but the prices are 180 each for the blazers and then 280 for the dress / polo. di ko alam if its mahal or okay na. next time ang gusto ko yung mga around 50 - 100 pesos lang. btw, they gave me a free bag, small bag lang na parang yung mga eco bag but at least may free.

last na, would anyonw know san may leather na biker  / motorcycle jacket? yun ang gusto ko na buy eh.

hello sis, i'll share yung pinupuntahan ko ukay dito sa pasig. along ortigas sa may rosario.. there are only 2 ukay shops. iisa may ari, kapag on sale yung isa, the other naman yung mahal and vice versa. madali makita kasi along the road..

i bought my dresses there for only 85 lahat, and all blouses 50 only.. fab finds pa! aircon din at di masyado marami tao. naka tsamba nga ako liz claiborne clutch bag for only 150..

Hi mga sis, nung nagpunta ako sa house ng classmate ko sa libertad, may nakita akong ukay shops tapos yung prices nasa around 50 to 100. di ko lang alam kung sale price yun. onting lakad lang from taft, yung way ng m.reyes.. may nakakita po ba ng mga shops na to ?

Ladies help naman please.. Mga 4 yrs ago na nung first and last time na nakapunta ako sa ukayan, sinama kasi ako ng friends ko. Kaya lang wala naman ako nabili, parang masyado ng gamit tsaka di ko type. Sa ebay na rin kasi ako bumibili ng mga damit ngayon, yung mga tsumori chisato, chloe, h&m, etc.. Kaya lang mahal na rin dun, ang hirap pa mag-bid haha!
Gusto ko na talaga mag-ukay kaya lang hindi ko kasi alam kung saan ba yung may maayos o branded na items.
Saan kaya okay na ukayan bandang Alabang (may nabasa ako meron dun, di ko lang alam kung san banda) o bandang stations ng MRT? Taga Bacoor ako eh, pero okay lang din yung mga bandang Manila.

My first Ukay-ukay was in Ayala Mrt station. Like 5 items for 100 pesos.. Okay naman siya. Hindi ko type lahat. Hahahaha. Parang na enganyo ako na bumili kasi 20 isa.

I think I really need to do some research pa about ukay ukay. Nakakainis naman pag kasama si bf. Mareklamo masyado. May ma ukay2x ba sa monumento na mura? Ang mahal kasi dun sa grand central.

thanks to this thread, I have tried thrift shopping sa ukay ukay. Went to Fashion D Elite at Cubao just this evening. I got 10 items for 850php only. Saya saya!

I was hesitant to try ukay ukay before kasi nga second hand, but I discovered here that I can de-bacterialize(?) it.  I do my thrift shopping sa Divi. But just today, mas magaganda at cheaper pa ang nabili ko. =D

Just want to ask mga sis, how do you wash (de-bacterialize?) your ukay ukay clothes before wearing it? Plan ko ilagay sa kumukulong tubig... kaya lang baka masira...
