We went in Morong, Bataan last month and stayed in Benisa beach front with pool. I love the place kasi walang masyadong guests nung dumating kami sa resort at maaliwalas kasi ang picnic table is beach front..

We are frequent customers of Pamarta Bali beach resort. Sa Nagbalayong, Mroong Bataan sya, near Morong Star. May infinity pool din and super accommodating ng mga staff.

^went to Pamarta Bali Beach Resort last weekend and the resort was small but it was great. May pools for adults and children and a little jacuzzi. Room prices are reasonable for 4k good for four persons.

Surprisingly, maganda ang beach, hindi mabato and malinaw ang tubig.

It's a good find if you need a beach near manila and have no time na magplane!

We stayed at Bonito Beach Resort at Morong, Bataan last April 7-8. Sad to say we are very disappointed. First time pa naman namin pumunta sa Morong.

Beach: shallow water, fine black sand ok for building castles. lots of trash like cigarette butts, styropor, papers, etc. open to the public ang beach. And may stray dogs din. Madami din nagka-company outing kaya pag may team building games medyo maingay.
Staff:  Staff don't have uniforms. Hindi mo tuloy alam kung sino kakausapin mo.
Restaurant: No full service restaurant sa resort. If you need hot water, per cup daw may bayad pa.
Videoke: 2 yung videoke machines so ayun maingay.
Pool: small with slide
Security: Lax. No uniformed guard on duty. Gate is always open.
Room: Yung room namin yung tag 5,500 may 3 queen beds naman. Yung door pa lang nung nakita naku, tuklap na yung paint. ok naman yung beds and beddings. Kaso 6 kami sa room, 3 lang yung towels. May small desk fan.
CR: Mabaho, walang tissue, rusty na yung curtain rods, not well-maintained. Saving grace-may water heater. 
Convenience store: Wala. meron lang mga stalls sa may street 24 hours sila bukas. Pero expensive! 1 San Mig light  costs 60 pesos! Bottled water 1 liter is 45 pesos. Malayo ang 7-11 dito mag ta-tricycle ka pa around 40 pesos. Tawaran niyo yung fare kasi pag alam nilang turista mahal singil haha.

Where to buyfood: Eugenia's Kitchen (they deliver) & Apo Mayang (both 10 minutes walk lang. If tricycle, 30 pesos)

streets may parts na sirang roads and flooded kahit di naman umulan and yung parang guard house going to the resorts may stagnant water na medyo mabaho na.

I recommend Eugenia's Kitchen if wala kayong dalang food. Lifesaver ito. Cheaper than eating sa resort. Pero medyo pricey na rin kasi Tapsilog nila 135 pesos. Sa bonito resort 150 pesos daw. Yung Apo Mayang di namin na-try pinakamalapit kasi itong Eugenia's. Hindi kasi kami nagdala ng madaming food sabi kasi nung owner madami daw mabibilhan ng food, hindi pala. 

Bonito 1 kami nag-stay (na meet ko yung owner, parang stressed na siya sa pag manage nitong hotel medyo matanda na din kasi) may Bonito 2 kasi yung anak naman daw ang owner.

Di na kami babalik sa Morong. Try namin Bagac naman siguro next year.

hello girls! we will be going to las casas for an overnight trip. tapos side trip sa mt. samat sa morning since 3pm pa yung check in sa las casas.

been reading tripadvisor, most of the information talks about the place and expenses.... looking for information sa hehe... like what time ang alis sa manila then what time ang mass schedule (if meron) sa mt samat shrine

just finished our las casas trip last weekend and it was as everybody is saying...ang ganda ng place. instagrammable talaga. lalo na sa gabi...

we left the house around 8 am
arrived at st. joseph cathedral 10:30 am
11 - 11:30 lunch at chowking balanga
11:30 am to 12 nn travel to mt. samat (sadly dami tao kaya sa baba lang kami ng cross. willing na nga kami maghagdan eh. kaso for emergency purpose lang daw yung stairs, TIP: agahan ang pagpunta)
1:30 pm travel to las casas
arrived at 2 pm (medyo naulan pa kaya daming tao sa reception, waiting kami ng at least an hour. limited siguro yung jeep for the maintenance of the cobbled pathway)

the next day, we checked out at exactly 12 noon, ang bilis lang lang. check out was different from where people check in kaya hindi crowded. Did not get the name of the building. My dad surrendered the key card and that was it. Plus points for las casas.

maulan when we went there kaya cancelled and balsa night tour, itinabi nila ang inflatable island nila and hindi kami nakapunta sa beach area. May fireworks sa beach area when we were eating dinner.

we had dinner at cafe del rio... walang available na grilled sa menu nila very limited menus.

6 kami and onti lang yung servings per menu. paid 2,250php for everthing na (including rice). cafe del rio pala is the only restaurant that don't accept credit card. okay na din kasi based from other reviews, sila yung pinakamura sa 4 na restaurant na nandun.

a.   Ma-waves yung dagat kaya sa tabi lang kami.

b.   The sand is grey, hindi masakit sa paa and hindi din mainit kahit tirik yung araw

c.   We took the balsa ride in the morning, mabait si kuya na tour guide/balsa driver -- hehe

d.   the room was okay naman, read negative reviews sa trip advisor about sa cleanliness?like madumi sa room and it looks like hindi nawalisan. For me naman, I think it comes with the building itself? like yung room namin has capiz-style bintana kaya parang may wood crumbs. I just considered it as part of the old world pinoy charm
kung hahanap ng resort na flawlessly clean, better go to shang or Newport, yung mga yun comes with modern facilities kaya medaling linisin for the housekeepers.

e.   mga twice nagflicker yung lights? hahaha?.dedma lang kami

f.   madalas busy yung customer service nila, pero polite naman yung sumasagot sa call namin

g.   our bed was comfortable and soft, loved their pillows and comforters, super fluff!

h.   complimentary beach walk slippers, choco chips, nuts crackers and 2 cup noodles

i.   plated breakfast sa stub namin pero we were upgraded to buffet, nung tanong ko sa reception sa hotel de oriente he replied na madami daw guest kaya we got upgraded.


Overall, super highly recommended ang las casas! Would recommend this hotel for the old, the young, pinoys, balikbayans and foreigners.

We?re also planning to stay sa Las Casas pero sa July pa. And since magtour na rin sana kame sa bataan, plan ko is sa cheaper hotel kame on our 1st night. I?m looking to stay sa Pan resort and hotel. Also need inputs, kase not sure kung updated pa mga nabasa ko reviews.
May light show pa din ba sa plaza mayor at night? What time and is it worth it?
Planning to go sa Pawikan conservatory din, kaso since july so walang hatchlings or releasing turtles? Makakita pa rin ba kame ng turtles and ok pa ba puntahan to?
I have a 4year old toddler with us kaya kid friendly tours lang ang mga tinitingnan ko. Thanks sa sasagot 😊

May malapit bang downtown area sa Las Casas?  We're planning to stay there for 3D/2N kaya lang naisip ko para makabawas sa gastos.. baka merong malapit na mga fastfood outside ng resort na pwedeng kainan  ng lunch/dinner.  Kasi kung mag 2x kaming lunch and dinner sa resort... mamulubi ako.. hehe..
