we're a group of 12pax, so 3 rooms sana with 4pax/room. may apatan bang room sa Anvaya? parang walang masyadong kwenta yung website nila, di masyadong informative as to max number of pax per room and how much.

^ay kailangan pa rin pala, haha! i did read some old posts na kailangan sponsored by a member sa Anvaya, but i was hoping na they changed it na. oh well. kailangan kasama yung member no? my cousin does know someone, pero hindi namin kasi isasama kung sakali kasi i was planning to bring my officemates. oh well, bummer.

i checked out Camaya's website and read that it's a "residential resort", so ibig sabihin exclusive din for members... but i got confused kasi may nabasa ako na may "Condotel" din. can someone clarify?

^^hi sis, i checked Montemar's website, they are open to non-members. meron lang silang discount for members. pero ok naman kahit yung non-member's rate nila. thye question lang is maganda ba dun? mga sis, feedback naman please sa Montemar!

mga sis, yung question ko naman sa Camaya oh, pwede ba non-members? na-confuse kasi ako sa website nila kasi i read something na parang they have Condotel (so baka pang non-members yun, just hoping).

i really need to find a great beach getaway na driving distance (max 3hrs) from Manila...

Montemar is our go-to resort whenever we want to go out of the city. Short drive Lang kasi siya. Plus we get discounted rates through our family friend. Yes, you can enter without sponsorship (higher rate lang nga). The beach is nice and clean and not crowded. There was one visit when there were only 2 other families in the resort. The rooms are better now (as compared to when we strated going there 10yrs ago). Food so-so. Not worth it for the price.

Tip: before going ask if there is a scheduled team building so you can avoid the crowds. But nevertheless sa laki ng place it never feels crowded (except in the dining area). O

^we usually leave katipunan, QC area around 6-630am. Then we reach montemar 10-11ish. Pero may stopovers pa yan (plus my husband is an overly cautious driver since we have several kids on on board). Think it's like driving to Subic. You take SCTEX but you will have to exit Dinalupihan (Subic kasi is sa dulo...yung Morong exit, right). Medyo tricky Lang finding the road going there from the main highway.

sometimes when we reach the resort wala pang available rooms. So we would change in their public washroom/ shower rooms, lounge in the pool/beach then have our lunch. By the time we finish lunch, we go to our room for siesta.

To give you an idea on how big the rooms are...we are a family of 5 then we bring along 2 yayas. The gallery room (their smallest room) doesn't feel cramped kahit ganito kami kadami.

The last time we went there, ang hirap kumuha ng room. Chismis was Chavit Singson's child got married in Las Casas and a lot of their guests (including daw Pacquaio but I didnt see him) were billeted in Montemar. Same reason too why we weren't able to get in Las Casas. The Singsons booked the whole place for the wedding.

Sisses, i was in morong bataan yesterday to do ocular for our team building. Parang Laguna na rin pala, there's one subdivision na tabi tabi na mga resorts. Some of them are a little bigger than the private resorts in Laguna but the pool are small. Ang pinaka ok for me among the line of resorts is White Coral. Mas maayos ang rooms at mas maintained ang picnic and pool areas.

Sis meimei, I've been to Montemar before, ok ang ambiance especially for families.  maluwag ang beach at since cove yun, you dont share it with other resorts in the same coastline. I agree to what sis hunny_ally said about the room and the food.

^We enjoyed staying at Las Casas! We were there 10 months ago. At that time meron pang mga ginagawang houses. Siguro ngayon mas maganda na siya.

to give you update sa Las Casas.they now have beachfront hotel/houses. they are all so lovely

nagbago na rin pala rates ng Las Casas,Php685.00 pesos for day tour only.
