mga sis, may nakapag-stay na ba dito sa sunset cove or sweetwater beach resort? alin po mas okay sa 2?

naka-set na kami for subic this weekend pero nung makita ko 'tong 2 beach resort na 'to, parang mas gusto ko siya than beaches in subic. mas malawak yung shore. tsaka halos sa boundary lang din ng SBMA so same route pa din ang dadaanan.

spent my weekend in bataan..with the help of sis SUBZERO, i was able to roam around some of the must see places in Bataan.. She was my contact person for Las Casas. ( so if you guys would want to visit Las Casas contact sis SUBZERO).
what we did, we went first to Abucay Church fopr a visit sana but it was close..then met with sis Subzero, who accompanied us to Las Casas. --The gabi and langka flavored ice cream is a must try.. =)    as much as i would love to stay until the cultural program that starts at about 6pm-if i'm not mistaken, we we're so tired since i still haven't got any sleep.
so, we went back to balanga and stayed at fav hotel. (original plan was to stay at stella mariz beach resort but it was fully booked)
on the way back to balanga, took pictures of some land marks like the philippine-japan friendship tower and the km 0 death march.
as sis Subzero suggested, just beside fav hotel is a pizza parlor named 1754. they named their pizzas after all the town in Bataan which is a good idea. plus super sulit kasi di tinipid ang toppings ng pizza. i wanted to try din sana the shawarma the next day, kaya lang they were close.
day 2 of my bataan tour, we went to mt samat. but then some parts were close because they were getting ready for "Bataan day." But still we were able to visit the museum (picture taking is not allowed inside) which i like the most, since i love history. then we went up the cross, good thing it wasn't foggy, so we we're able to appreciate the view from the top. =)
on the way down mt samat, the tricycle driver was so kind to make me take some pictures of other land marks, plus he brought us to this place where a hanging bridge is located..=)
sayang i wasn't able to take a pic pala of the flaming sword--sis rhea, correct me if i'm wrong..-flaming sword nga ba yun?

the only thing i knew about bataan before was mt samat. so thanks to all the blogs that i've been reading, i was able to know more about bataan. and of course to sis Subzero who i kept on pestering for questions..hehe!
i would definitely go back to re visit the place. there are a lot of more places to discover in Bataan. --old churches, falls, historical land marks, beaches etc..
there's also this big tarp i saw "Bird watching, more fun in Bataan or Balanga" basta ganun..so i missed that one..so it's a sign that i really need to go back..

pahabol: one thing i also like about the place is it's cleanliness.. unlike some other provinces..bataan is fairly clean compared to others..so that's another plus points..

Hi sis kaisha, nakakatuwa naman post mo. I have a scheduled tour at las casas, problem ko kasi gusto ko pa ma visit other site. Like you, i love history kaya nga when I went to corregidor, doon kasi nanggaling prisoners ng death march, gusto ko ng makapunta ng bataan. sa Bataan, sobrang daming historical sites dito which unfortunately, hindi gaano narerecognize. pero this year, magkakaroon na kami ng Bataan Museum sa Balanga, another must visit.

for churches, visit Orani, Samal, Abucay, Balanga, Pilar and Orion Cathedral Churches...

I was disappointed last Sunday we travel from Subic to Bataan to look for a nice resort. Di na kami nagpunta ng Morong madalas na kasi kami dun. We went to Raven and La Vista Resort and my gosh grabe, super crowded and dumi ng pools... we went back to Subic and ended up swimming at Moonbay Villas instead.

Last weekend nagpunta kami sa Morong , sa La Primera Playa, katabi lang sya ng coral view and sunset view. So so lang ang resort hindi namin nagustuhan ang family room for 10 worth 7k for overnight. Masikip sya and nag clog ang cr. Wala din masampayan ng basang damit, need mo pumunta sa likod nila sa kitchen area para dun magsampay. Yung beach gray/black sand. And may mga lumulutang lutang pa na plastic, yung area ng pamarta ang medyo ok less crowded sya. 2swimming pools nila and hindi nagpalit ng water ang labo na ng tubig. siguro pinaka ok na ang Las casas sa mga resort dun. Side trip kami ng Mt. Samat  dun nag enjoy mga kasama ko.

maganda dun sa cove sa may sitio minanga. ang linaw ng tubig tsaka parang swimming pool lang kasi halos walang alon, napaka-serene. malambot din yung buhangin but it's not white sand tsaka nakakapaso sa paa pag tanghali dahil. pero ang ganda din ng view.

ang pangit lang is yung pinag-stay-an namin, sa sunset cove. ang gulo nung resort, ang dami kasi nilang guest, di nila kayang i-handle tapos pati yung cottages na nakabook na samin for overnight, pinaparent pa rin nila sa mga nag day tour. pero mabait naman yung may-ari and staff kaya lang talagang dapat iimprove nila yung resort.

nakakainis din yung ibang tao kasi iniiwan lang nila yung kalat nila sa beach. malinis pa naman yung beach, pero pag pinabayaan yung mga tao na ganun, after a few years, magiging madumi na din yun.

dun kami sa area ng sweetwater madalas mag-swim kasi tahimk at wala masyado tao. would be nice to go back pero di na sa sunset cove, sa may sweetwater na lang siguro.

try nyo sa morong bataan, mas light ang sand dun and mas malinis ang beach. o kaya sa may bagac bay. sulit pa mga cottages dun.

hi! just got back from a short Bataan Trip. First, thanks kay sis Kaisha, tinawagan pa niya ako just to guide me. Good advice din niya ang unahin ang Las Casas bago ang Mt. Samat. nag-commute lang kami, sakay ng Genesis Balanga sa cubao terminal, we arrive past 9 na sa las casas, since kaalis lang nag tour and the next one is 10:30 we decided to wait while playing sungka. Grabeh highly recommended to visit Las casas. Matipid akong magkuwento pasensiya na ha..lol. Doon na rin kami naglunch, in-fairness sa kanila madami ang servings although what we ordered pochero hindi ganun ka-lambot ang meat, pero ok naman. Then, tambay kami sa reception area, mga 2:30 packup na kami tapos punta kami mt samat, everything was done sa pag-commute lang. Grabeh kakahingal pag-akyat sa taas, then akyat pa ng elevator, grabeh ang ganda ng place. Mahilig din kasi ako sa history, I was able to visit Corregidor, kaya ang naging goal ko next was Bataan para sa death march, related kasi sila. Talagang closing time bumaba na kami. Then pag-uwi, genesis ulit. haay sulit.Pero dami pa pwedeng makita sa bataan, like iyong sa MT samat sa opposite terminal noon meron pang falls tapos ang pawikan center. Parang mas-relaks nga overnight. Anyways, for sure babalik ulit ako dito.

naka-book na kami sa may19-20 sa las casas filipinas. we'll only go there via public transpo. me nakita akong step by step procedure sa internet on how to commute to and from but i just want to ask kung meron na ba sa inyo na actually na nakapunta doon via public transporation? how was your trip? di ba mahirap? thanks a lot!

sis, been there last friday. doon sa cubao edsa may genesis terminal,sakyan mo balanga pamasahe 200 tapos baba kayo las  mismo terminal balanga. tapos sakay kayo jeep batac 47 pamasahta sabihin o sa driver ibaba kayo sa las casas. then tricycle na lang,hindi ko na matandaan presyo. pag uwi ganin din, tricycle tapos abang ng jeep balanga tapos hanapin nyp lang terminal ng genesis,pabalil na oiyun ng manila.

^sis kung maaga naman kayo makakarating ng bataan say, before lunch..pwede niyo na muna puntahan yung Mt. samat.
sakto siguro after niyo na ng Mt Samat pwede na kayo dumiretso Las casas.  If not naman, pwede din na  check in muna
Las casas then go na Mt. samat. say, makakaalis kayo Las casas ng 2:30,,mga 3:30 or quarter to 4 nasa Mt. Samat kayo..
i think that would be enough time na before yung closing ng Mt. samat..
