Before buying anything from the mall, we usually pay Bangkal Makati a visit, there are a lot of great furnitures and other home stuff there. We usually get yung mga walang foam parts para iwas sa transmission ng kung anuano.

^ sa mandaue foam sis sale sila hanggang sept 15. Locally made sofa are 30% off while imported ones are 40% off. Yung nabili ko 10,500 na lang, 3 seater with pillows na rin... foam lahat na upholstered.

^ everything you need sa bahay meron don. but if youre really maselan and ayaw mo ng 2nd hand na gamit, thats not the place for you, usually ang binibili lang namin don are furnitures and other stuff that can pass as brand new, or house decors lang. sa plates, we get brand new ones kasi. ang gusto lang kasi namin sa bangkal, madaming rare finds, kaya binabalik-balikan talaga namin. and the prices are way cheaper than in malls. 

are you commuting sis? di ako marunong magbigay ng directions, i just know how to get there kasi lagi kong kasama mom ko and laging may driver whenever we go there, nyahaha! basta ang alam ko, its near cash and carry and its right behind yung controversial na west tower condo, malapit lang sa area na yun sis.

we got one for 4k, discounted because of the bulk of items that we ordered. staggered naman yung bili namin though since bumabalik balik kami halos every week.

just to give an idea, 50k will go a long way sa bangkal, sobrang dami na naming nabili na items na too good to be true ang price, pero ang saya kasi madaming rare finds talaga.

we even found boehm porcelain pieces, 2.5k bili namin sa circle of roses that cost 4.5k USD, may freebie pa na dalawang porcelain pieces that cost 1.7k USD each naman, all of them authenticated na and nasa boehm na for a little retouching.

halos lahat ng items nila galing sa mga bahay from exclusive villages na nagpapalit ng gamit once in a while or items from italy and other countries na magaganda pa talaga. :

along street lang yun sis. hile-hilera yung mga stores dun. i grew up in bangkal and dami talaga good finds dun. from books to furnitures meron.

i think carlos celdran has a walking tour sa bangkal (free lang yun.)
