hay naku mga sis, PALPAK ang plano ko to have my guestsheets & invites printed by artscow.  hindi dumating/umabot on time para sa party ng daughter ko.  1 month before the party ko ni-order yung prints ko, kamusta naman -- 1 month + 1 week na wala pa din.  haaaaaaaayz!!

pag artscow talaga ini-expect ko na matagal kaya i give ample time kapag oorder ao sa kanila. like my guestsheets, i ordered it 3 months before my daughter's birthday. otherwise madi-disappoint ka talaga sa sobrang tagal ng delivery!

first day ko dito sa office today and ngayon ko lang na-recieve yung slip from pasig city post office na pwede ko na daw i-clain yung artscow package ko.  nakalagay dun sa slip na date is december 14 eh december 13 yung party ng baby ko...kainis!  actually, dec.19 may pasok pa din ako sa office pero sabi ng guard dumating daw yung slip mga dec.22 na.  kamusta naman -- late kung late!

anyway, buti na lang pwede namin ipakuha sa messenger dito sa office yung package.  may bayad pala yun na P35 para makuha sa post office.  i was expecting na direcho na dito ang delivery but anyway...lesson learned talaga.  hayyy

mga mommies, need your opinions.. original plan ko kase for my cousin's bday eh signature frame. but since napunta ako sa thread na 'to and similar naman ang usage ng sign frame at guestbook na to sign and give message/ dedication, alin ba ang mas better? yung nakaframe na or yung parang album that you will browse? tia

My take on signature book - for those na nag-signature book during your past birthdays and wedding, nasaan na po yung signature book ninyo? And based on your experience, ilang percentage among your guests ang nag-take talaga ng effort to sign with a more meaningful message? 

so kung hindi talaga feel ang thumb printing, dun na lang ako sa signature frame na puwedeng i-display afterwards...

may signature frame ako from my wedding -- nice concept pero i didnt display it or nilagay sa wall, why? -- i find it 'not nice' to look at.  maganda yung frame, maganda yung pic layout, maganda yung message pero yung pagkakasulat, halo2 eh. ang gulo, ampangit pa nung penmanship nung iba hehe.  basta hindi siya maganda i-display.  napangitan daw ba sa penmanship hehe ... oh well, its just me

yung signature book/sheets, bubuklatin ko na lang to reminisce. di bale pangit sulat nila hehe

the thumb printing is nice sana but i would prefer it for my wedding kesa sa bday party ng cousin ko.. hehe.. kuripot kase nanay nun. LOL

as for my sis' 7th bday, gumawa kami sign frame. personalized siya kase unlike yun nabibili na rectangle with pic sa upper right or left, nagpagawa kami na nasa center yung pic and equal yung space ng pic at sign space. it's posted sa wall namin. the unreadable penmanship and iba't ibang way ng pagkasulat, it gives the frame character. and bata naman yun so talaga magulo. i got the point naman of wkt since wedding naman yun. i think it depends din sa preference ng tao and sa occasion.

Last year we had a guestbook printed by digiprints.. Ngayon ayoko na sana ng book.. Gusto ko ng kakaiba naman, nainspired ako sa party ni Jhoanne.. thumb marks yung ginamit nya..

Il be having an Easter party since Easter sunday ko iccelebrate..

Any ideas?

I had guest sheets for my son's first birthday and compiled it in a photo album so ang dating is parang naging signature book siya.  I'm glad ganun ginawa ko kasi a lot really signed and wrote messages for my son.  Siguro around 75 people signed. Since naka-album siya, para siyang the usual photo album na pedeng tignan any time. We also did that for our wedding. And nakakaaliw siyang basahin because hindi typical well wishes and messages ang mababasa kasi we had funny interesting questions like how many kids will we have, the names of our kids, etc.  Yung iba seryoso, yung iba kalokohan, nevertheless, ang sarap basahin at balik-balikan.  Which I'm sure di maachieve sa thumb printing or signature frame. IMHO.

^ i agree.. last 7th birthday of my cousin, i printed guest sheets thru photoshop and though may mga generic "happy birthday" message, since most of them are kids, nakakatawa pa din yung mga spelling and penmanship. and of course, messages like "sana magkaibigan pa din tayo paglaki natin" and "sana di tayo magaway" makes us smile. and i am sure, 10, 20 or 30 years after, the celebrant will laugh at it too and treasure it.

for my sister's 13th bday, since it is a luau party, i cut out slipper shape cardboards and cover it with printed paper as guestbook sheet. then i will compile it as a book and put a real native slipper as cover.

i had a personalized signature frame on my daughter's baptism...
now i want a personalized guestbook naman...i wanted to try scrapblogging and have it printed thru Artscow...
My daughter's bday is on last week of July pa naman, based on what happened to ms. wkt...do i have to start doing it now?
or guestsheets na lang & just have it printed here in our local printshop?

i made a DIY personalized guestbook.  Ginawa ko therapy..he he..  I bought a handmade scrapbook from NBS then mga decors like buttons, ribbons, bears, etc from Divisoria.   Theme color ko for my son's dedication is aqua blue and brown.

hi artscow din ako. how long does it take pag regular shipment? kasi di ko na namonitor mga early May ata nun nachange to shipped status ng order ko sa kanila. wala pa till now. sabi kasi 18 days lang. pero ok lang. gusto ko lang malaman ilang weeks kaya?

Hi Purplemom,

Just want to ask how many pages yung scrapbook that you bought in NBS? My sis kasi volunteered of doing the scrapbook as guestbook for my daughter's birthday.I saw kasi a sample of scrapbook she received from her friends and medyo makapal and ang daming pages. Di naman ata pwedeng bawasan. Too late na kasi if mag artscow pa kami...kaya baka scrapbook na lang. thanks!

Naku..at our wedding, I made small guests sheets pero wala pang 1/3 ang na-fill-upan (to think walang bumalik na ballpens samin, haha) kasi I wanted nga to compile them and do without empty spaces... nadala agad ako, I didn't make guest sheets for my son's baptism and birthday na, hahaha...

I design guest sheets na lang for friends pero sila din, lalo na pag hindi talaga naiikot yung guest sheet (kahit na per table na yan ha), minsan hindi nafi-fillupan or napupuno... so parang ampangit na din i-compile...

but i guess one solution to that, even in kiddie parties is to offer prizes sa mga panalong dedications

how is the artscow photo paper tho? usually kasi when i have pics printed, Photoline 4R or 8R kasi I love their silk paper...
